Just a note, I'm PO'd at for not letting me upload for half of 25th and 26th…. But heres a chapter anyway!
Chapter Twelve: Rise Of The Fabler (Part 2)
The Four seasonal spirits charged into battle, each sending a pure orb of their element at the figures before them, The Trickster-Natura walked forward and waved the attack's aside and then re-created all four sending them at the opposite season,
"Watch out!" Jack called, creating a wall of ice to protect them,
"Frost, you know we can't win here right?" Reece asked, sending a Fireball at Trickster-Manny, who used a Moonbeam attack to destroy the attack.
"I had that thought!" Jack replied, flying into the air and sending a lighting attack at Trickster-Pitch, who used a Nightmare shield to block it before sending a blast to knock Jack out of the sky, but Jack used the wind to launch himself up, but he was swiftly sent to back to the ground by Trickster-Galactica,
"Dam…." Jack complained standing up, and looking around.
"We cant use the air, we cant fight on the ground, we're trapped here!" Dawn complained ducking behind the ice wall,
"We can still hold them, with any luck, Natura will have rounded up the rest of the Balance as she planned" Jack told them,
"But Sandy's looked in here with us!" Reece replied,
"But Pitch is still free" Jack pointed out, as the Ice wall started to crack…
(Outside the Dream)
Pitch was watching them and growled as he knew the plan was a short a sweet mission that would end as quickly as possible, yet it was coming up to an hour that they'd been inside the dream, Tooth hadn't noticed while North and Bunny had begun arguing about whose Holiday was better, Pitch frowned as he felt fear coming closer, he turned to see Manny, Galactica, Natura, Father Time and Aquaticus, the Master of the Ocean.
"They've already entered, have they not?" Aquaticus asked,
"Yes" Pitch scowled, he disliked Aquaticus, as every time they met, he ended up soaked,
"Pitch, we need you to help us, you must join the Dream link with us and enter the dream too" Manny told him, "If things are going badly, I have one last plan that might work"
"What plan?" Natura asked, "You are not sacrificing any of my Spirits!"
"And I did not intend to" Manny told them,
"We can all argue later, let us just survive this mission, then tare each other's heads off" Pitch scowled, throwing a dream line at each of them, they all linked in and felt the tug, landing down in the snow finding that it was now free falling snow, adding to the snow that already landed on the ground.
As soon as they were all standing they heard it, the sound of battle. Natura, Galactica, Pitch and Father Time all ran in a panic towards the Rulers,
Aquaticus looked around, "Its very cold here…. For a dream.."
"The child likes the cold, I need you to join the others, I shall join them shortly…" Manny told him, Aquaticus nodded and rushed off, Manny walking to Jamie's house.
(The Battle)
It was utter chaos on the field, Jack was duelling Trickster-Manny and Trickster-Natura with the swords of Winter and Nature, blocking the attacks. Reece was holding off Trickster-Galactica and Trickster-Time. Trickster-Pitch was sending attacks at Dawn while The Four Sheppards were all attacking Rose, Trickster-Anny was no-where to be seen. While Sandy was guarding Jamie from the Daemons now swarming the field, ignoring the rulers.
Each of the rulers was in a bad way, each was heavily wounded and, had they been mortal, would have fallen ages beforehand, but at they were Immortal, they could take more hits.
When the new dreamers arrived they looked around, seeing the rulers be blasted against a wall, they all tried to get up but collapsed down, clearly bested.
"Trickster!" Natura called, "Turn and face us!"
The Tricksters all turned to face them and scowled,
"Get them, I shall deal with the child!" The Trickster-Manny told them and the others all rushed towards the Elder Spirits. While Trickster Manny ran towards Jamie's house
(Jamie's room)
Jamie stood behind Sandy as he duelled Trickster-Anny, they were sending attacks at eachother faster than Jamie could see, but then it just stopped and Jamie turned to see Manny standing there,
"Jamie, I shall not harm you, so please relax" Manny told him, and in an instant Jamie relaxed, "I must ask something of you, no-one should ever be asked"
"Has something happened?" Jamie asked in a panic, the flirtatious voice gone,
"Indeed, the Trickster's full Powers have returned, and now, he threatens not only Your life, but Jack's and everyone else who tries to help you" Manny told him,
"What do you need?" Jamie asked,
"I need you…. To become a spirit" Manny told him, "But not just any spirit, I will have to make you one of the most powerful spirits that will ever exist…. The Fabler"
"What does he do?" Jamie asked,
"He, is the Spirit of Belief" Manny told him,
"And it will save Jack?" Jamie asked,
"Indeed, you will save everyone, but lose your Mortal life" Manny told him, "Your appearance may also be slightly altered"
"I'll do it!" Jamie told him and in an instant he felt light glowing around him as the battle between Trickster-Anny and Sandy continued, while Manny stood fighting a clone of himself,
After a minute Jamie opened his eyes, one was now Green while the other remained Brown, he stood up, a staff and book falling into his hands,
"ENOUGH!" Jamie roared, holding up his staff, the two Tricksters turned to face him and rushed forward, Jamie flicked the staff around, blocking the attacks before his book glowed he looked down at it and saw three pages were now filled with golden lettering, he looked through it, it explained who the spirits in the room where and what their powers were, Jamie jumped backwards, and pointed the staff forward,
"Trickster Clones, begone!" Jamie aimed his staff and fired, when they failed to run away, Jamie smiled, "Moonblast!"
With that attack, the Tricksters were blown into Dust, Jamie looked at what he'd done and gasped,
"Such is the power of the Fabler, and he has Risen" Manny smiled, looking over at Jamie.
That was a small plot change to what was going to happen, but hey ho….
What could have been: Jamie and Jack begin their relationship while Jamie is Human and Jack begs Manny to make Jamie immortal like him, But Manny doesn't want to separate Jamie, Sophie and Joyce.
Anyway I like this idea more,
