A/n: So here's The List! It was pretty useful for me to make this considering I needed a refresher on some of the characters myself. Some of them haven't been mentioned yet (namely, half of the Hufflepuff team). Give it a once-over for a recap, then check back in a week to see who arrived at the qudditch match unannounced!
Update: Thank you Orange Planet for pointing out some of my slip-ups! I've made the appropriate changes.
Ravenclaws
Amelie Perry: A seventh year girl who is captain and keeper on the Ravenclaw quidditch team. Harassed by James Potter on a regular basis, she has developed a keen dislike for the boy and encourages everyone around her to do the same. Thus far in her last year at Hogwarts she has established the first female-only quidditch team in the school's history, created a strategy for taking down the other teams by means of seduction (which is not particularly successful) and had several shouting matches with James Potter. Their most recent fight was about whether or not his baby sister, Lily, should be allowed to play quidditch. Amelie has been training Lily for a few weeks and is for her playing. Amelie's friends are Ruth, Luthe and Nell, and she's quite fond of her team. Outside of quidditch, she knows very few people.
Rose Weasley: A sixth year girl who plays seeker on the Ravenclaw quidditch team because no one else came to try out and the team captain wanted to set James Potter (one of Rose's many cousins) off. She's the female Ravenclaw Prefect Rose is a part of the Weasley-Potter clan. The males are incredibly protective and their parents love pitting the cousins (often Rose, Fred and Albus) against one another. She fancies Scorpius Malfoy (which no male in her family – except Albus – is very happy about) and many people are certain he fancies her back. But she just friend-zoned him rather fantastically and loudly during a fight with James. She's shoddy at potions and Scorpius is currently helping her with the hands on work in exchange for essay writing tips. They're both in the advanced potions class. Her friends are Coraline and Ida, but many people around Hogwarts claim an acquaintanceship with her. Her target is the Gryffindor team (in Amelie's seduction strategy) because her private life enrages her cousins, and Albus talked Amelie into a deal so that Rose can't use Scorpius for quidditch secrets.
Ruth Taytum: A seventh year girl who plays chaser on the Ravenclaw quidditch team. Her two older brothers play professional quidditch. She's friends with Amelie, Luthe and Nell – and is beginning some sort of relationship with Romeo Zabini where she tries to impress him by acting cool and he disregards her act and holds her hand. Which confuses her greatly. They met through his younger brother when four third year Slytherins bought a day with Ruth at a fundraiser. Her target is the Slytherin team.
Nell Dortan: A seventh year girl who plays chaser on the Ravenclaw quidditch team. She learned how to play quidditch by watching her favorite player, Gwen Morley of the Holyhead Harpies, on the wizbox. She's friends with Amelie, Ruth and Luthe, and bitter enemies with Klause McLaggen, who is a family friend and likes to torment her. And she likes to torment him back. In her last year at Hogwarts she met Klause's best mate, Arne Corner, and flirts with him on a regular basis. Her target is the Hufflepuff team.
Coraline Darcy: A sixth year girl who plays beater on the Ravenclaw quidditch team. Her friends are Ida and Rose. Through the latter she met Fred Weasley II and fell in love with him in their third year, which he doesn't know. She's cursed with word vomit and brings up things like underwear and Kraven, then regrets it. Fred's friends – Marvel, Lorcan, Lysander and Julien – find her funny and have decided to help her get Fred. Most recently, she got to kiss his cheek for good luck. Her target is the Gryffindor team.
Ida Winters: A sixth year girl who plays chaser on the Ravenclaw quidditch team. Her friends are Coraline and Rose, but she's recently been introduced to the company of several seventh year Slytherins by her false-boyfriend, Damon Vicker, who she's pretending to date for access to quidditch secrets. She's suspicious of Amity and Hans, convinced that they could be more than friends. Albus Potter has been acting strange around her and gives her cryptic messages about Damon. She was present when Rose and James fought, and sent Damon (the relationship cynic) to talk to Scorpius. Her target is the Slytherin team.
Mariah Affey: A fifth year girl who plays beater on the Ravenclaw quidditch team. She knocked a girl clear off her broom at tryouts, but is quite tiny. She's friends with Mallory, who is quite protective of her. She successfully conquered her first target (Hufflepuff) without even trying – Rhet Davies appeared to be quite in love with her. But a day spent with her Gryffindor friend, Garett, made her question his motives. So she spent a few weeks hiding under tables, where she met her second target, Levi Walker, the Slytherin team's newest member) and hit it off.
Luthe Carter: A seventh year boy with some quidditch talent but didn't try out because he's trying to work in the Mysteries Department and needs to focus on schoolwork. He's friends with Ruth, Nell and Amelie, and has promised the latter to look out for her team (though he's not doing such good job).
Eli Thomas: A seventh year who is Head Boy. His twin sister is Shea.
Mallory Hershel: A fifth year girl who is friends with Mariah and suspicious of Rhet's attentions to her.
Carol Kirkpatrick: A presumably promiscuous fifth year girl who Rhet Davies has spent time with.
Ermine Macallen: A fifth year boy who has a knack for herbology.
Gryffindors
James Potter: A seventh year boy who is captain and chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team. He spends most of his time with his cousins or quidditch team, and he delights in tormenting Amelie Perry – though sometimes he's not joking. Like when it comes to his family, of whom he is extremely protective. When he discovered that his baby sister, Lily, was training with Amelie, he made this abundantly clear. He also dislikes the relationship between Rose and Scorpius, and goes out of his way to destroy it (and he's done a rather brilliant job of that recently).
Fred Weasley II: A sixth year boy who plays beater on the Gryffindor quidditch team. He has many friends (the son of George Weasley, jokester extraordinaire, must), the closest being Marvel, Lorcan, Lysander and Julien. They've recently brought Coraline Darcy into their group because of her being in love with Fred (but he has no idea) and he thinks she's funny.
Lorcan Scamander: A sixth year boy who plays chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team. He is friends with Fred, Marvel, Julien and Coraline, and is currently helping the latter woo Fred. His twin is Lysander.
Lysander Scamander: A sixth year boy who plays chaser on the Gryffindor quidditch team. He is friends with Fred, Marvel, Julien and Coralin, and is currently helping the latter woo Fred. His twin is Lorcan.
Hugo Weasley: A fifth year boy who plays beater on the Gryffindor quidditch team. His sister is Rose and he follows James in his attempts to separate the pair.
Brice Finnigan: A seventh year boy who plays keeper on the Gryffindor quidditch team.
Peter Tate: A fourth year boy who plays seeker on the Gryffindor quidditch team. He reported Lily to James when he saw her leaving for the Ravenclaw quidditch practice.
Dominique Wealsey: A seventh year who is Head Girl. She fancies her fellow Head and has made a deal with Amelie that if she helps the Ravenclaw team, they'll take to Eli about her.
Julien Shoal: A sixth year boy who is the male Gryffindor Prefect. Friends with Fred, Marvel, Lorcan, Lysander and Coraline. He patrols with Rose Wealey.
Marvel Jordan: A sixth year boy who has committed himself to helping Coraline Darcy woo Fred Weasley II. He is friends with them two, as well as Julien, Lorcan and Lysander.
Garett Thomas: A fifth year boy who is friends with both Mariah and Rhet, and who lead Mariah to question Rhet's attentions.
Lily Potter: A third year girl who desperately wants to play quidditch but her older brother James won't let her. She struck up a deal with Amelie to be able to train with them and when James found out he threw a fit. Her response was to mail their mother, Ginny Potter.
Slytherins
Scorpius Malfoy: A sixth year boy who is captain and seeker on the Slytherin quidditch team. He is friends with Albus and Arrol, and thought to have a fancy for Rose Weasley. He and Rose have an agreement where he helps her with her hands on potions, and she helps him with his essays. He bought a day with her and was bombarded by James Potter, who opposes the match. Rose recently claimed that they were friends rather loudly and he reacted rather scorned. Damon Vicker (who earlier questioned the feelings between Rose and Scorpius) was sent to fix things.
Albus Potter: A sixth year boy who plays keeper on the Slytherin quidditch team. He is friends with Scorpius and Arrol. He appears to have an understanding of workings behind the scenes and hints to people about plots. He is confused by Ida's relationship with Damon Vicker and attempts to offer her council. He has a deal with Amelie that if Rose doesn't use Scorpius for quidditch secrets, he'll give her information about James.
Romeo Zabini: A seventh year boy who plays chaser on the Slytherin quidditch team. He is friends with a collection of Slytherins (Damon, Evert, Hans, Niles, Amity, Posy and Shea) and he's entering into some kind of relationship with Ruth Taytum, who he met through his third year brother.
Damon Vicker: A seventh year boy who plays chaser on the Slytherin quidditch team. He is friends with a collection of Slytherins (Romeo, Every, Hans, Niles, Amity, Posy and Shea) and he has currently employed Ida Winters as his false-girlfriend, hoping that Posy (his ex as of just a few months) would move on. Thus far it hasn't worked. He is skeptical of Ida's Hamity (Hans and Amity) and he is incredibly cynical when it comes to love. He was recently charged with dealing with Scorpius after Rose accidentally friend-zoned him.
Luca Nott: A sixth year boy who played beater on the Slytherin quidditch team. His post was terminated after he attacked Rose Weasley. Scorpius replaced him with Levi Walker. He is the male Slytherin prefect.
Levi Walker: A fifth year boy who plays beater on the Slytherin quidditch team. He is Nott's replacement, just a week before their first match. He is tormented by Nott and took refuge in the library, where he met Mariah Affey.
Arrol Smith: A sixth year boy who plays beater on the Slytherin quidditch team. He is friends with Scorpius and Albus.
Charles Ton: A sixth year boy who plays chaser on the Slytherin quidditch team.
Evert Fells: A seventh year boy who is rather full of himself. He is friends with Hans, Niles, Amity, Posy, Shea and Romeo – but closest with Damon.
Hans Aunst: A seventh year boy who is rather cold and reserved. He is friends with Evert, Niles, Posy, Shea, Romeo and Damon – but closest with Amity. Ida is suspicious of their relationship (their banter, their own sofa in the library, etc), referring to them as Hamity, which Damon disbelieves for multiple reasons – one being Hans' last name.
Niles Charlemagne: A seventh year boy who is rather cheerful. He is friends with Evert, Posy, Amity, Shea, Romeo, Damon, and Hans.
Amity Thorn: A seventh year girl who is rather peaceful. She is friends with Evert, Damon, Romeo, Shea and Niles – but closest with Hans. Her twin sister is Posy. Ida is suspicious of her relationship with Hans (their banter, their own sofa in the library, etc), referring to them as Hamity, which Damon disbelieves for multiple reasons – one being Amity's knowledge that Hans isn't one to date.
Posy Thorn: A seventh year girl who is incredibly angry. At Damon and Ida. She is friends with Evert, Romeo, Shea, Niles and Hans, and her twin sister is Amity. She and Damon dated and he broke up with her just before seventh year. Making things incredibly awkward for everyone else. She's still a little sore and takes it out on the happy (false) couple.
Shea Thomas: A seventh year girl who is Ruth Taytum's divination partner. She is friends with Evert, Romeo, Damon, Niles, Hans, Posy and Amity. Her twin brother is Eli Thomas, Head Boy, and she likes to prank him.
Sal Zabini: A third year boy who bought a day with Ruth Taytum. He is Romeo Zabini's younger brother.
Perseus Flint: A third year boy who bought a day with Ruth Taytum. Friends with Sal, Gavin and Steel.
Gavin Dale: A third year boy who bought a day with Ruth Taytum. Friends with Sal, Perseus and Steel.
Steel Graham: A third year boy who bought a day with Ruth Taytum. Friends with Sal, Perseus and Gavin.
Hufflepuffs
Klause McLaggen: A seventh year boy who is captain and chaser for the Hufflepuff quidditch team. He is friends with Arne Corner, and enemies with Nell Dortan, who he has known since childhood. He dislikes the relationship being formed between Arne and Nell and is working against them.
Arne Corner: A seventh year boy who plays keeper for the Hufflepuff quidditch team. He met Nell Dortan through his friend Klause and bought a day with her in the efforts of wooing her (which worked).
Rhet Davies: A fifth year boy who plays seeker for the Hufflepuff quidditch team. He (rather suspiciously) became close to Mariah Affey under the pretense of friendship (and maybe something more…) before the Ravenclaw versus Hufflepuff match. Mariah began questioning his motives and took to hiding from him, and he did not make much effort to find her.
Caylin Clark: A seventh year boy who plays chaser for the Hufflepuff quidditch team.
Riley Mercer: A sixth year boy who plays chaser for the Hufflepuff quidditch team.
Argus Boot: A sixth year boy who plays beater for the Hufflepuff quidditch team.
Milo Glouster: A seventh year boy who plays beater for the Hufflepuff quidditch team.
A/n: I realised after completing this that you can easily tell who my favorite ships are, and which are my favorite houses. I certainly glom onto characters (which explains the amount of depth being given to the original characters in the Slytherin house) and I'm such a softy for romance that everyone needs a significant other. Though it may not be clear right now who that person is.
Next chapter you'll meet the person who made Amelie's jaw drop.
