Diana POV

"Diana, love where are you? Sophie's here to do your check-up and have you seen Elijah?" Aunt Bekah called from the parlour.

"I'm coming Aunt Bekah" I responded as I made my way to the parlour, wondering why my Uncle decided to go to Mystic Falls all of a sudden. I got there and found Marcel waiting, a smile beamed all over his face as soon as I walked in. Sophie checked me over using magic, what need is there for a real doctor?

"You're absolutely fine at 3 months, 2 weeks gone and you're starting to show. Only thing I would recommend is to eat more iron-rich foods as you're iron levels are pretty low" Sophie advised.

"Thanks a lot Soph! I'll walk you home" Marcel said gratefully to Sophie. "I'll be back in a bit" he said to me. He left with Sophie but not before glancing back at me with a wide cheeky grin. I wondered what fate would have in store for me and Marcel, we were getting along at the moment and I even dared to dream about us getting married.

I was dressed in a beautiful white wedding dress, made of lace and silk that fell to my feet and covered every inch of my body with its sheer laciness. Diamonds drew attention to my very modest décolletage on show and to my slender wrists. A beautiful tiara set with diamonds and pearls was crowned upon my head, the very tiara that my grandmother Esther wore. I glided down the aisle, with Father and Uncle Elijah flanking me on both sides and Aunt Bekah trailing gracefully behind me, scattering rose white petals as she moved. I smiled nervously and-

"Diana, I've asked you 3 times now. Where is Elijah? You know my good brother" asked Aunt Bekah with annoyance.

"Oh sorry Aunt Bekah I was just thinking about something. Uncle Elijah left a note saying he had to suddenly go to Mystic Falls about some urgent business" I said still daydreaming about my white wedding.

"Mystic Falls? Why? Are you sure he didn't write anything else" Aunt Bekah asked.

"I'm sure" I said assuredly.

Rebekah POV

I wonder why Elijah's gone to Mystic Falls, especially considering there is nothing there for him. Maybe that pathetic little baby Elena needs his help. I'll phone him, I decided.

"Elijah, it's Rebekah. When you get this phone me please. Why have you gone to Mystic Falls? I'm worried about you" I left a message on his phone, slightly worried that he wasn't answering.

"Rebekah, little sister where are you?" Klaus shouted as he strolled downstairs.

"In here Nik, why what's wrong?" I answered.

"Where's Elijah? He was supposed to come with me and talk to the little witch about allowing the witches Mother's Grimoire temporarily." Klaus explained with annoyance.

"Di said he's gone to Mystic Falls on 'urgent business'. I'm worried about him, there's nothing in Mystic Falls is there?" I asked almost nervously. Secretly, I wondered if Nik did something and was planning something for me as well.

"Only that little traitor, Katherine. Our brother has betrayed me despite all his promises of Always and Forever!" Nik roared angrily.

Elijah POV

"Katerina, why did you not tell me sooner? Come with me to New Orleans, there is a witch there who can help you" I commanded imperiously. I didn't want my beautiful Katerina to die. I still love her. Despite her transgressions she was my only love, she has haunted my thoughts all these years. I will not let her die.

"Elijah, if Tessa the great almighty witch couldn't heal me then what chance does your witch have? I'm dying and I called you here to tell you thank you. Thank you for the love and honour you've always shown me and I'm sorry I was such a mean bitch. I will always love you-"She broke off coughing. Then I saw that crimson blood spurting out her mouth and her eyes losing their sparkle.

"No! My beautiful Katerina. Katerina, come back. Please I love you!" I cried out as I rocked her now lifeless body. But then I noticed a faint heartbeat...
