Hey I am really sorry for not posting really long chapters. Trust me-I AM TRYING! Anyway, if you are reading this, thank you. I'll try to post some more chapters this weekend. Also, I am working on a new story! I think it's first chapter will be finished soon (hopefully tonight) and I will post it. I'm still trying to find out good breeds and some names, so if you have any ideas please put it in your review! Thanks!

As I dragged my feet into math class I couldn't help but notice a boy sitting behind my seat. I slid in and unloaded last night's homework, trying to keep my mind off of him. This was hard, because he was probably the cutest boy I had seen. He had dark blonde hair that was messy and gray eyes the color of a rain cloud.

"Hello, class," Ms. Utz said. She had a stack of papers in her hand and I gulped. It was our quizzes from yesterday's class. She began passing them out and I started twisting a piece of hair around my finger nervously.

"Good job, Aiden," she said, placing my paper face down on my desk and walking off. I carefully turned it over. 102% was written in red ink at the top. A+. I leaned back in my seat and sighed a deep breath. Okay. Okay.

"You may turn to page ninety-eight in your textbooks and begin on your homework," she said. I opened my book and began paging through it until I came to ninety-eight. As I began to write my name on a piece of graph paper the intercom crackled and I heard a shrill woman's voice.

"If Aiden Devon is in the building, please come to the front office. I repeat, Aiden Devon is needed in the front office." My hand hovered over my paper and slowly looked down.

"You can go, Aiden," Ms. Utz said. I stepped out of my desk and slung my bag over my shoulder, shoving my math book and binder in it as I left.

The walk to the main office seemed to pass too quickly. I stopped in front of the brick building and took a calming breath. It was only my second day here. Then, I went inside.

"Hello, Aiden," a lady behind a desk said to me. I didn't know who she was. I managed to smile at her through my nerves.

"Hi. You said you needed me?" I asked. She nodded her head.

"Yes. There's a new student who is coming here tomorrow and she said that she had been acquainted with you. I was wondering if you would help her get settled in at the stable and at school."

"I don't know," I said. "I'm just settling in, too."

"That's alright. You guys can brave a new school together." I had to stop myself from rolling my eyes at how cheesy that sounded.

"Sure. Fine." She smiled and returned to whatever she had been working on before I had come in. Great. I had to worry about someone else getting lost on campus that wasn't me, now.

By ninth period I was spitting mad. I was furious with this new chic. Why did she have to say that we knew each other? When I saw her for the first time I would need Mandi or June to restrain me if I tried to strangle her.

The walk out of the science building was like walking through rapids. Students came up and down the stairs, others came from classrooms on that floor.

"Aiden! Aiden!" I turned around and saw Mandi coming through the constant stream of students.

"Hey," I said glumly. We walked out of the math building and Mandi glanced at me.

"What's up?"

"A movie about an old man and a boy scout who move to South America by moving their house with balloons." Mandi laughed and tossed her brown hair over her shoulder.

"Yeah, I know. But seriously," she turned to look at me, her wide brown eyes locking onto mine, "what's eating you?" I sighed and adjusted my shoulder strap with my hand.

"I have to help a new girl tomorrow. I mean, I'm a new girl. What's up with this?" I took a calming breath and my best friend gave me a sympathetic smile.

"You'll do fine." We walked towards Orchard and slipped inside.

"I know that I'll try," I said, unlocking my door. We walked inside and into the kitchenette where I handed her a Sprite and took a Diet Coke. "The secretary said that the girl knew me?" It came out as a question and we sat on the white couch.

"Well do you know anyone who would come here and know you were already here?" She took a sip of her drink. I shook my head.

"No. That's what creeps me out!" I opened my Coke and traced a finger around the cap.

"How about we just calm down. Tomorrow we'll meet her, and I'll come with you if you want me there." I took a deep breath and nodded quietly. "Good. Now, turn on more Once Upon a Time."
