CHAPTER 13
Picking up where we left off, the group was fighting off hoards of rakghouls after hoards, "HOW ARE WE SUPPOSE TO WIN HERE?!" Yukari shrieked just as
a rakghoul slashed her arm, one group of rakghouls dog piled Osaka fortunately she was able to use the force to get them all off her before they could kill
her. "That….was horrible" Osaka said gasping out of sheer panic after some more fighting and some more injuries it became increasingly obvious they
needed to get out of there "ok, I can't I didn't say this sooner, but WE MUST GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" Nyamo shouted "y-yeah, no kidding" Sakaki said
breathing heavily, unfortunately at this point in time they were horribly surrounded by rakghouls so they wound up having to cut path through the hoard to
get to safety, and even then it was apparent that it would only last long enough for the group to catch their breath. "I know this goes without saying…..but
we need the Republics help ASAP." Yomi said as she saw the rakghouls attack everything in sight, despite their best efforts there was too many rakghouls
for them to handle "I'm afraid we are going to have to just find that last bomb, THEN when we get a chance we will contact the Republic and take care of
this problem" Yukari said with a sigh "I agree with you" Nyamo said with disappointment in her voice. Well as they were about to leave their location they
got ambushed by thirty rakghouls, "we're never going to catch a break are we?" asked Kaorin rhetorically.
Meanwhile on the planet Taris, Darth Tyrannous was observing the planet "so this is where that disease began" he said to himself, he said something
similar many years ago when he first came to Taris on a mission he no longer remembers. Unlike most Sith who remained relatively same no matter how
many years of fighting and chaos they cause, Tyrannous grew calmer and wiser with every mission and every single battle he had been in. even though he
was only in his mid-40s he felt like he was in his late 80s, "what is my purpose?" Tyrannous asked himself his time on Nal Hutta didn't improve his mood at
all, his mind was still a mess, nothing new for him but it hasn't bothered him ever since his wife died. He thought back to the days of youth back then he
had a rivalry with a man about his age name Shigeru, back then Tyrannous went by his real name of Satoshi, one friendly duel in particular stood out in his
mind interesting to note is that it was their first duel "you don't look like much" Shigeru said in Tyrannous's mind,a single tear went down the Sith lords eye
as the memories flowed through, though they were both Sith and rivals they both were willing enough to call each other friends, the memories continued
Tyrannous stood his ground and ready himself into a battle stance his training saber ready, and as the first blow was made both Sith locked their sabers, a
few more blows later Tyrannous won "nice I may have myself a worthy rival here" Shigeru said chuckling up a storm but it was in a friendly fashion
Tyrannous said not a word he just smiled and helped him up. "What's your name?" asked Shigeru with a smile Satoshi" Tyrannous answered as the
flashback ended. "I wish I could relive those days, things were much simpler back then" Tyrannous thought to himself. "Hey, you!" a voice yelled
Tyrannous turned around to see a group of five men standing right in front of him looking quite fierce, or rather they attempted to be. "Oh just some fools"
Tyrannous thought to himself as he started to walk away, "HEY don't ignore us!" one of the men yelled Tyrannous just ignored him and continued walking
away. The same man then shot a blaster bolt but Tyrannous just dodged it without any effort he then shot the man with his own blaster, unlike most Sith
Tyrannous had no qualms about using a fire arm he also liked using a wide variety of weapons, the man dropped dead which angered his companions who
whipped out their own blasters but before they could fire, Tyrannous killed them all with his blaster then just continued walking, a few minutes later he
came across a Jedi and a young good-looking twilek woman, though they didn't see him he didn't care. The Jedi kissed the twilek one lips and Tyrannous
could tell she enjoyed it "I remember what that was like" Tyrannous quietly said to himself remaining in hiding he fondly remembered his wife Haruka
"those were the days back then…I felt alive" He said in his head a single tear rolled down his cheek he watched as the Jedi got excited after the Twilek
whispered something in his ear, he also looked nervous at the same time though, "probably telling him their going to have a little one" Tyrannous thought
to himself though he was just guessing, e continued to watch from the shadows as the two left holding hands. As Tyrannous headed back to his ship he
quickly helped a lost soldier, even the soldier was Republic he didn't care "thank you" the Soldier said as Tyrannous left he just gave the soldier a thumbs
up without even turning to look at him then left. Back on his ship Tyrannous just sat in the pilot's seat wondering where to go next.
After taking care of all thirty rakghouls, the group headed north to where the bomb was at "I swear if we survive this I'm going to kill whoever placed all
these bombs!" Yukari growled "good luck with that, because according to master Satele a few dozen Sith and Imperial troopers placed these bombs all
over the galaxy" Nyamo said "seriously?" Yukari asked while whining "afraid so" Nyamo answered while sighing. While Tomo and Kaizer did plant a few
bombs they ultimately planted only five and felt terrible about doing so because even they can't stand the rakghoul disease, as our group of heroines
walked up a really steep hill they got ambushed once again by a few dozen rakghouls luckily they weren't too terribly smart and as such easily defeated
after the finished their climb they came across the bomb "yeah we are going to have to take this thing as carefully as possible" Yukari said as she stared at
the sheer size of the bomb "how did they get this thing here? It's the size of a mansion!" Kagura wondered "yeah you would think someone would be able
to spot something this large and be able to stop it construction" Yomi said while scratching her head. "Wow, the Empire must have become smarter"
Arumik said while his jaw literally dropped to the ground "you're a force ghost don't you have anything important to say to us?" asked Yomi with a glare
"no" Arumik said as he disappeared into thin air. "Ok now how do we deal with this thing?" asked Nyamo "why is there no security?" asked Sakaki "maybe
they all mutated into rakghouls" Osaka said with a silly looking expression on her face "HAH, now why would they mutate into rakghouls?" asked Yukari "I
don't know" Osaka answered, a few minutes later they were able to turn off the machine, it was actually a lot easier than it appeared all they had to do was
flick an on/off swith, "now that was just sad" Yukari said slapping herself in the face to which the rest of the group did the same thing, "you would think
they would have made it a lot harder" Kaorin said with a sigh, a few minutes later she would regret those words as the machine began to rumble and an
electronic voice said "shutting down bomb, releasing all rakghouls", "oh this is going to suck ain't it?" Yukari asked rhetorically. All of a sudden about 200
hundred rakghouls came out from beneath the machine and scattered all over the place not noticing the Jedi "oh thanks goodness they didn't see us"
Osaka said with a sigh "yes, but now we have to round them all up and exterminate them you idiot!" Yukari yelled "oh, right….." Osaka said while rubbing
head, as it turned out that wasn't their current problem, their current problem was a 14 foot tall glowing green rakghoul cyborg "wow this is going to be
tough" Kagura said as the giant rakghoul attacked. the monster lashed out at the group, as they dodged each blow the rakghoul got madder and then after
a while it started to breath acid "How in space?!" Chiyo shrieked after about five minutes worth of dodging the monster started to tire out, that's when
Kagura went on the offensive and cut of two of its fingers at one "TAKE THAT UGLY!" Kagura yelled, Kaorin then leaped at the monster but it grabbed her
instead and was about to drop her down its throat "WHY DOES THIS STUFF KEEP HAPPENING TO ME?!" Kaorin shrieked just as the monster was about to
drop her down its throat, fortunately, Chihiro managed to stab the monster in the forehead causing it shriek in pain and throw Kaorin right into Osaka
"ouch, that's gonna hurt for a while" Kaorin said as she slowly got up "oh look at all the pretty birds" Osaka said completely dazed after Kaorin crashed into
her "ugh, why can't I be saved by Sakaki for once?" Kaorin asked quietly "what?" Yomi asked "err, nothing, nothing at all" Kaorin quickly answered. Back at
the fight Sakaki managed to deliver the final blow by slicing the monster's throat, for some reason as the monster crashed dead on the ground it exploded
it was not a pretty picture, "ok NOW on to the nearest terminal so we can contact the Republic and take care of the rest of the rakghouls!" Yukari said
trying to sound all heroic; Nyamo just sighed but agreed with her and decided to go along with her friend's craziness.
Meanwhile, on the planet Lehon, Tomo and Kaizer were exploring an old abandoned Rakatan temple in hopes of finding artifacts in there "wow I can't
believe this no force-sensitive artifacts" Tomo said as she looked around "what are you talking about, we've only been in here for ten minutes" Kaizer said
"really? Because it feels like an hour" Tomo said "no, you're just impatient" Kaizer said sigh "true…." Tomo said submissively well after a few more hours of
wondering the temple they left empty handed, "I can't believe we couldn't find anything the rakata were once a force-sensitive race not to mention the fact
that the Sith were once here" Kaizer said sounding quite surprised, "I'll take your word on it" Tomo said as the two Sith walked out of the temple a pair of
rancors attacked out of nowhere "oh great, why is it we can't go anywhere without something trying to kill us?" asked Tomo unimpressed with the two
rancors "beats me" Kaizer answered he was also unimpressed with the two rancors, however, they manage to escape the two rancors without having to
fight them, "they are not worth it" Kaizer said as the two got away, Tomo agreed with him. It didn't take long for them to get back to their ship and leave
the planet "well that was fun" Tomo said sarcastically Kaizer just glanced at her without a word, he agreed with her but he wasn't going to say anything.
Well back on Voss, the Republic managed to send support although they were able to stop the outbreak it still managed to drop the planet's entire
population of life forms down by a good 32%, "wow wish we could have gotten here sooner" Yukari said with her head hung low depression in her voice,
her arm got injured during one of the many battles against the rakghouls so it was in bandages, "tell me about it" Kagura said she had a nasty slash mark
across her face from a rakghoul that attacked her the injury wasn't severe enough to become a scar but it was still unpleasant to look at, Osaka was out
cold from a pack that ganged up on her fortunately they were able to stop them in time, an Imperial trooper had popped out of nowhere and temporarily
blinded Sakaki during the fight she also had slash marks across her left arm, back, and abdomen everyone else either had black eyes, got hit so hard they
were coughing up blood, and/or had been slashed all over their bodies. Thankfully the meds knew what they were doing so any(if any) scaring that would
take place would be very minor, and the group would make a speedy recovery, "well once we are back on our feet where do you think our adventure will
take to next?" asked Kagura "I don't know" Nyamo said sounding cheerful, she was due to the fact that none of the padawans had died and neither did her
old friend Yukari, she was mildly depressed that they weren't able to minimize the damage more but was glad that Voss didn't turn into another Taris. Well
a month later the group had fully healed, they were truly fortunate that they didn't catch the disease or receive any scarring, they took a moment to
further recuperate on a Republic space station, during their time there Chiyo came across her old friends from Tantooinee, Miruchi and Yuka, "hey don't
they look like Yukari and Nyamo?" asked Osaka "no why?" asked Chihiro "no reason" Osaka replied. Meanwhile Yukari and Nyamo were busy flirting with a
pair of Republic Zabrak men, after a few hours' worth of just hanging out they finally returned to their ship and headed back to Typhon, "I swear Chiyo
your friends look just like Yukari and Nyamo" Osaka said "Miruchi and Yuka? I don't see it" Chiyo said looking confused "are you sure because even their
names sound similar to Yukari's name and Nyamo's real name" Osaka said "yeah I'm sure" Chiyo said "ok then it must have been just my imagination"
Osaka replied ending the conversation. Arriving on Typhon, they were met up with Jedi master Satele Shan "what took you girls so long?" Satele asked "we
kind of got side tracked" Yukari answered "uh-huh well no mater I hope you are all rested up because I've got another assignment for you" Satele informed
them "aaaah" everyone groaned "I know you just came back from an extremely dangerous assignment but these days the galaxy has been needing the
Jedi now more than ever." Satele informed though she took no pleasure in doing so for she knew that they were getting tired from so many dangerous
assignments but the Sith, especially Darth Malacard, have been forcing her hand lately.
Speaking of Malacard, he was busy fighting in a battle on the planet Correlia, in particular he got into a duel with a young Jedi, Malacard beat him in a few
seconds then proceeded to electrocute the poor Jedi to death with his force lightning, a few minutes into the battle Darth Tyrannous came "you summoned
me Malacard?" asked Tyrannous, Malacard turned to him and nodded "go to the building over there and go get me the source of that strong force energy"
Malacard ordered Tyrannous obeyed albeit reluctantly he too could sense the presence too but wasn't sure if it was an artifact, crystal, or someone alive in
there. It wasn't hard to get to the building but that was due to the fact that Tyrannous was an expert at stealth, "so far so good" he thought to himself
after a while he entered the building, he wound being ambushed by a member of the green Jedi, but the Jedi was overconfident and was quickly defeated
"the man should be glad I have no interest in spilling blood today" Tyrannous thought to himself he had killed Jedi before but even in his youth he took no
pleasure in killing Jedi, he was never one but it felt wrong to him, he had no problem fighting and killing scum such as mercenaries and space pirates, and
whenever he thought in a battlefield he seemingly had no problems killing Republic troops but that was due to fighting in a war. "Hmmm where is that
source?" he asked in his head after wondering the building for a while longer he found the source, a lightsaber, "wow normally I don't sense something like
this" he said to himself, the whole lightsaber felt like it was force-sensitive not just the crystal inside the weapon. Tyrannous briefly activated the weapon
with a surprisingly high-frequency sounding hum it activated showing of it green blade which was surrounded in a maroon aura. "Now this amazing I feel
stronger in the force just by holding this thing, how did it get here and why haven't the Jedi found it?" Tyrannous asked even though he knew there was no
one around. Tyrannous proceeded to leave the building, but briefly got stopped by the same member of the green Jedi from before, and like before
Tyrannous managed to easily defeat him without killing him though in this case he just a small rock at the Jedi's head knocking him out cold. He quickly got
back to Malacard who was surrounded by the bodies of a few dozen dead refugees "wow no mutilations, he must be in a good mood, still pretty sickening
though" Tyrannous thought to himself as he walked up to Malacard he could see he had a young Republic soldier in a force grip, the poor man was turning
blue in the face from lack of air "perfect timing" Malacard said as the trooper dropped dead on the ground, Tyrannous gave Malacard the lightsaber without
saying a word "so this was the presence of the strong force energy? Impressive" Malacard said in a smug sounding voice hard to tell though with that
mechanical sounding voice modulator in his mask. Malacard then dismissed Tyrannous, and while Malacard headed back to his personal ship he got stopped
by a young Jedi "and you are?" Malacard asked very unimpressed by the Jedi "I am Azusa Nakano, and you're going down Sith!" the Jedi said as she
activated her lightsaber. Malacard just laughed as their duel started.
The assignment on Correlia, the group went on was simple enough, granted it involved disarming more Rakghoul bombs, but this time around things were
going smoothly having already disarmed ten out of the fifteen of the bombs "should we be getting worried that they are making bombs faster?" asked
Kagura "yes, but hopefully we will be able to stop it before it becomes too much for us to handle." Answered Nyamo sounding calm and encouraging, well
there was a few hundred Imperial troops they had to take care of but it wasn't too serious, it got serious when they came across a small, wounded Jedi
"WHOA are you ok?!" asked Nyamo as she went to check on the Jedi, the Jedi collapsed in Nyamo's arms then looked up at Nyamo and said coughing with
each breath "I-I am Azusa Nakano, I-I tried to t-take on D-Darth Malacard", "by yourself?!" asked Yukari, "y-yes….I wasn't going to l-let him get away"
Azusa said with each breath getting heavier, she was a bloody mess and one of her arms was missing "is he still here?!" asked Yukari "n-no he left" Azusa
answered weakly "She's dying I'll get her to a med you take care of the bombs!" Nyamo said as she hurried to the nearest med center, the group
cooperated without a word. Well after a few more minutes the group disarmed the last few bombs luckily without any hassle then proceeded to meet up
with Nyamo at the nearest med center.
At the med center Azusa was still conscience but fading slowly, "I'm afraid there is nothing we can do for her, we're truly sorry all we can do is make her
comfortable" a doctor informed Nyamo. A few minutes later Jedi master Sawako Yamanaka appeared with four other fairly young looking girls "I take it she
is part of your Jedi band?" asked Nyamo "yeah" one of the Jedi answered said Jedi had brown hair with a headband in her hair, the group of Jedi entered
the room requesting alone time with Azusa, "I take their friends of her?" asked Yukari who popped up beside her old friend Nyamo nodded yes to her, in
the room Azusa gave off a weak smile and tearfully said "you guys drove me crazy over the years we've known each other….but I must admit I've grown to
see you all as family", "likewise" the Jedi band said Sawako held her hand until her eyes closed for the last time. The Jedi band left the room but not before
giving their fallen friend one final, and tearful, goodbye "will you all be ok?" asked Yukari "yeah, we will just need some time" Sawako said her head hung
low and trying to hold back the tears the Jedi band then left Correlia. The group of Jedi left Correlia shortly afterwards, Azusa's funeral was held on Typhon
were her body was cremated as per Jedi tradition just like Konata before her there was much morning from her friends and fellow Jedi.
Malacard met up with grand moff Bulma on his flagship to discuss a military plan "when will we be able to attack?" Malacard asked "soon my friend soon"
Bulma answered, no Imperials or Sith liked her not because she was vicious but because she had no honor whatsoever in a relationship in fact all she cares
about is bad boys and power, she left her last husband Darth Oozaru AKA Jedi master Vegeta after he decided to join the Jedi order because she believed
him to have gone soft. She was now trying to get into a relationship with Darth Malacard too bad for her he hated love believing it to be for the weak. After
she left Malacard looked out into space wondering trying to hold back his frustration he was looking for something but it kept evading him "where is it?!"
Malacard growled he then killed one of his men for literally no reason other than to cool himself off "ah much better" Malacard said. He then went back at
looking at the scenery preparing for his next level of chaos just the thought of it alone was enough to get him in a good mood.
As for Kaizer and Tomo they got stuck on the planet Dagobah after a space pirate shot them down "don't Tomo repairs will be quick" Kaizer told her as he
started to repair their ship "well hurry up" Tomo grumbled as she laid on top of the ship gazing at the stars, Kaizer just ignored her and continued working.
well time to brace my self for the backlash for killing off Azusa, granted I don't know what it looks like but still.
