CHAPTER 17
The Jedi order as whole got ready for a very dangerous assignment to destroy the rakghoul bombs once and for all and the location to where the rakghoul
bombs were being made was a bit of a surprise, it was on the planet Vjun the atmosphere of the planet was tolerable enough you could breathe on it but
it's rain was highly acidic and would burn the skin of anyone unlucky enough to be walking in it without protection, anyway the Jedi council had to convince
the Republic not to send and entire army just in case the Empire had a nasty surprise in store for them, instead the Republic and the Jedi order sent
several small ops teams across the planet to try and find where they were making the virus and end it as quickly as possible. The reason for the ops was
because as it turned out there was several bases built across the planet, it was safe to say that either the Empire had been using several plants to make
the bombs or to hide the true location of the manufacturing plant. Darth Malacard sent, Tomo, Kaizer, and Tyrannous to the plant to add some security to
it, he wasn't about to give it up yet, "so this is the plant" Kaizer said as he observed one of the buildings however he attitude changed immediately once he
noticed how many identical looking buildings were across the planet, "so which is the real one?" asked Tomo as she scratched her head in curiosity
Tyrannous was given the coordinates to the real plants location, well that's not entirely true there was multiple plants producing the virus but the one they
were heading to was the main plant and it was well hidden, though he didn't say a word, upon arriving at their destination Kaizer and Tomo's were
astonished by their destination it was hidden within a mountain and the only visible entrance was on the mountainside and the docking bay door was large
enough to hide an entire Imperial cruiser, upon landing the three Sith were greeted by a pair of young Sith purebloods, one male one female, neither
looking older than twenty "greetings" the male Sith said as he greeted the trio walking out of the ship "a pleasure to have you here" the female Sith said
both of their tones were mildly creepy sounding "hello, and who are you two?" asked Tyrannous he wasn't impressed by these two but then again it isn't
easy to impress him "I am Darth Gor" the male Sith answered slowly and with an incredibly creepy sounding tone of voice "and I am Darth Roe his twin
sister" the Female answered at the same pace and in the same tone, true to their race both of these two had blood red colored skin they also had creepy
yellow snake-like eyes in addition to that Darth Gor had short simple looking red hair he also had long bits of flesh hanging of his face that made it look like
it was melting and a nose ring, whereas his sister had black hair that was put in a ponytail and what looked like spikes coming out of her eyebrows plus she
wore black ear rings that resembled small cone shaped spikes. "Come with us the Darth Avia, the one Darth Malacard put in charge of this facility, would
like to meet you" the twins said in perfect unison Tomo and Kaizer had somewhat of a creeped outlook on their faces whereas Tyrannous just maintained
his serious stoic look "very well" Tyrannous said as he, Kaizer and Tomo followed the twins. Along the way they witnessed several large machines at work
including several giant mixers which it was safe to say that those were the machines making the viruses "impressive aren't they, it is a long procedure and
mildly difficult procedure to make the virus and to put them into a bomb, but it is a worth wile chore" the twins smugly said in unison, Kaizer and Tomo felt
chills going down their spines it was amazing at how creepy these two were "uh no offense but can you two stop talking in unison, please?" asked Kaizer
sheepishly the twins turned to him with disturbing smiles and answered in the creepiest way possible "no" once again in unison, once again Kaizer and
Tomo felt a chill run down there spine actually it was more like a blizzard. As they walked through the factory they noticed very few soldiers the security
was mostly made up of droids, one in particular caught Kaizer and Tomo's eyes it was a black protocol droid but it combined traits of both Republic and
Imperial protocol droid its head was the same triangular shape as an Imperial protocol droid but with a Republic droid's face it had the right arm and
shoulder blade of a Republic protocol droid and left arm and shoulder blade of an Imperial protocol droid the left leg of a Republic and right leg of an
Imperial protocol droids a truly bizarre specimen of a machine "uh hey what kind of droid is that?" asked Tomo pointing at the droid "that is CV-RN a
unique breed of protocol droid" the twins answered with a pair of psychotic smiles "unique how?" asked Tyrannous his curiosity having been peaked, the
twins didn't answer his question right away and when they did all they said was "we cannot tell you, but if your unlucky enough you'll find out" and they
said it with some wicked chuckles no one said a word and just kept following them, with the protocol droid following them in return, eventually they came
across a woman with ghostly pale skin, pure white eyes with the exception of the pupil of course, bronze colored hair that reached the base of her
shoulders, a wicked with style nose and most peculiar her hands resembled bird's feet made worse by the fact her long black finger nails resembled talons
"greetings, welcome to our plant" she said her voice was mildly raspy and witch-like "I take it your Darth Avia?" Tyrannous asked to which the woman
nodded and said "yes I am", "so how many of these factories are used to create the rakghoul bombs?" asked Tyrannous, Avia just smirked and answered "I
lost count a long time ago I know a few are designed for making droids to defend the factories however", "I'm amazed Malacard was able to make all these
factories and plants in such a short amount of time" Tomo said, but no one listened except for Kaizer who agreed with her, "now enough chit-cha CV-RN show our gest their post where they shall be defending the plants" Avia said ordering around the droid "it shall be done" CV-RN replied its voice was a
surprising combination of an incredibly deep and malevolent sounding tone and yet at the same time it was still somehow monotone, well it didn't take long
to reach their respective "post" but ultimately it didn't matter where they were placed all they had to do was defend the plants to the best of their
abilities…though as all three of them knew their best would never be good enough for Malacard "well good luck to the all of you" CV-RN said he then
walked away and as he walked away Kaizer caught the glimpse of what looked like a pair of lightsaber hilts on the droid's waist but he didn't think too
much of it "I shall go patrol the south by myself, you two do whatever you please" Tyrannous said as he began walking away "ok, why?" asked Tomo,
Tyrannous just paused for a very brief moment before turning to Tomo and saying "I have my reasons" and he said it in a surprisingly polite sounding manner Tyrannous then disappeared into the shadows "ok so now what?" asked Tomo to Kaizer who didn't have the answers, they have grown strong
together but now weren't sure what to do next their time as Sith even before they met has left them conflicted and in pain.
Meanwhile, the Jedi order and the Republic have sent a series of squads to try and find the location of the rakghoul virus bombs factory and put it out of
commission upon reaching the planet's atmosphere the various groups were shocked to see not one but multiple buildings anyone, if not all of the buildings
could be making the bombs, nonetheless they squads all knew they must put the production of the rakghoul bombs out of commission permanently. One of
the teams consisting of 9 certain Jedi you should already be pain stakingly familiar with at this point led by Nyamo and Yukari, but mostly by Nyamo,
arrived at one of the many plants upon exiting the group noticed that the plant had little security "what's with the lack of security?" asked Kagura
"Malacard mustn't of believed anyone would figure out where he was manufacturing the bombs" Nyamo answered she knew better than to state the
obvious but for some odd reason she couldn't help herself, Nyamo and Yukari weren't all that surprised by the fact that the plant's location was on Vjun
anyway nobody really travels to the planet on account it is basically a dead rock with acidic rain, how it had air to breathe was a mystery to pretty much
everyone and it was one that most likely would never be answered, getting pass security was easy there was only about three droids guarding the main
entrance granted said droids were colossal and had massive cannons but they were clearly not very observant. Wandering through the factory was actually
quite terrifying for most of the group for you could see, what was assumed to be, the rakghoul virus in massive tanks at least with this plant you could and
everyone knew that one little slip up would be disastrous for the group "so anyone want to go swimming?" Kagura jokingly asked but nobody paid attention
to her, they wandered for a bit longer before finally coming up to a crossroad within the factory "well, I hate to say this but…..let's split up to cover more
ground" Nyamo said reluctantly she really want to risk anyone's neck but saw no other alternative especially if they wanted to stop this nightmare, nobody
said they just agreed with her though their expressions screamed fear and concern, after a brief moment or two they managed to decide on the groups
however unlike every other previous time one group was significantly smaller than the other, the group led by Yukari only consisted of herself, Sakaki and
Chihiro, Nyamo got partnered up with everyone else, Kaorin maintained a straight look on her face but was whining and complaining on the inside because
she didn't get to work with Sakaki, just before the two groups parted ways Chiyo said to her friends "be safe now ok" in a very concerned and sweet sound
tone of voice Nyamo just patted the child prodigy's head and told her not worry in a motherly tone of voice and Yukari in a very confident tone of voice said
"don't worry about us!" as the parted ways.
Yukari's small group wandered through the plant, it didn't take her long to get frustrated "OK, HOW IN SPACE ARE SUPPOSE TO SHUT DOWN THIS D*MN
FACTORY!?" Yukari yelled she then cuffed her mouth in horror for almost alerting the factory of their presence luckily none of the droids in the factory were
too terribly bright, but unluckily someone did hear her, the Sith lord Darth Tyrannous, he could hear her from across the factory and was astonished at the
various droids stupidity for not noticing "and this why I hate working with droids" he said to himself he then took off like a rocket to the direction he heard
Yukari's voice from, "I wonder how well that protocol droid would've faired?" Tyrannous thought to himself remembering CV-RN who was in at a different
plant on that planet, as for Kaizer and Tomo they were on their way to the plant Tyrannous was in, meanwhile Nyamo and her group was sighing in
disappointment at Yukari yelling they could hear it all the way from their location "ugh Yukari I swear you are going to be the death of yourself one of the
days" Nyamo said in disbelief and face palming herself, anyway Kaizer and Tomo arrived at the plant everyone was at and began wandering it only to be
startled by CV-RN who had followed them "wh-what in space are you doing here?!" asked Tomo who got startled by the droid's presence "no reason, by
the way Gor and Roe just arrived here as well" the droid informed them, the two Sith just had surprised looks on their faces "ok why are they here?" asked
Kaizer the droid didn't respond at first then as the machine began walking away it harshly answered Kaizer's question by saying "who cares, meatbag?"
then the droid left the two Sith "ok I know this goes without saying but that is no ordinary protocol droid" Tomo said as she watched the droid walk away
Kaizer didn't say anything and just nodded in agreement, they then contacted Tyrannous through their holo-communicator "so any luck?" asked Kaizer, and
they got him just in time to he was busy watching Yukari and the two padawans with her "yes there appears to be Jedi in the plant see if you can't find
anymore" Tyrannous said then he hung up on them "well you heard the man" Kaizer said Tomo just sighed and the two Sith took off to see if they could
find anymore Jedi within the plant meanwhile the Sith twins were watching the whole thing with glee "about time it is sis" Gor said with a disturbing smile
"indeed brother, we finally have Jedi" Roe said with and equally disturbing smile then in unison they said "to kill" then by finishing each other's sentences
they said with Gor going first "let's" then Roe "go" and off they into the shadows to find the right opportunity to strike.
As Yukari and the two padawns made their way through the maze of machines disaster struck for them a droid spotted Chihiro and tried to sound the alarm
luckily Sakaki spotted it in the nick of time and destroyed…..not that it made any difference for in another plant on the other side of the planet one of the
Jedi was spotted by a droid who sounded the alarm and from just one plant all the alarms across the planet went off "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" Nyamo
asked everyone wondered the same thing "great our covers been blown!" Yukari said as the room began flashing red "uh master Yukari…" Chihiro said
getting her attention as a whole army of droids began surrounding them at the same time…"uh, uh master Nyamo" Chiyo said as several titanic droids
began stampeding towards the Jedi "well this is just perfect" Yomi sarcastically sighed Yukari's small group managed to cut a path into a safer, well
comparatively safe, location within the plant however the droids were in hot pursuit when all of a sudden "STOP!" a voice bellowed and the droids
responded without hesitation "what the….?" Yukari wondered as she began to scratch her head in confusion "seriously what just happened?" asked Chihiro
with a puzzled look on her face a feeling that was shared with Sakaki then a tall, dark figure walked out of the shadows and stood on a nearby cat walk as
he looked at the three Jedi "I don't know how that alarm went off but I can tell you all that your fight…." The figure who was Tyrannous said pausing briefly
to activate his lightsaber then leaping before the three Jedi before continuing with a smirk "…..is with me!" Yukari, Chihiro and Sakaki just looked at him
with confused looks and then Chihiro said "it's three against one, what makes you think you can take us on?" Tyrannous just scoffed at her statement and
said "so young and naïve, you forget there have been instances where one has won a fight despite being outnumbered, besides I am Darth Tyrannous
perhaps you've heard of me? Yukari gained a bit of a shock look on her face for she has heard of him "yep it is going to take all three of us to take him on,
I have heard of him and this guy is tough" Yukari said as her expression turned to determination "uh ok if you say so" Sakaki said in a calm, stoic manner
the three Jedi then activated their lightsabers Tyrannous just gestured to them to make the first move which Yukari was the first to oblige she blade locked
with him with a highly competitive and determined look on her face while Tyrannous just had a calm, stoic look on his face he wasn't smiling in fact there
was no telling what was going on his head at the moment, Chihiro force leaped right behind him to try and break off any retreat he might have in mind but
Tyrannous unleashed an unexpected force burst that sent both her and Yukari flying Sakaki then tried to kick him in the face but Tyrannous effortlessly
dodged the attack then countered with a force push he then did an leaped onto a nearby platform and stood there as the Jedi caught their breath Sakaki
recovered the quickest then leaped after him locking blades with the Sith in the process.
As for Nyamo the battle against the droids cause her group to get separated fortunately she was able to find most of them fairly quickly except for Osaka
and Chiyo, the two young Jedi had spotted a figure in the shadows and pursued it "uh Osaka should we be following whoever that is?" Chiyo asked she may
have been younger than Osaka but she had a much higher level of common sense than her and was concerned "no, but what if he or she leads us to the
heart of this place?" Osaka responded with a friendly and determined look on her face Chiyo said nothing and against her better instincts decided to go
along with it. After a brief moment of pursuing the figuring they finally managed to get a good look at whoever it was and it caught them off guard by who
it was "Tomo?!" Chiyo and Osaka said in unison that caused Tomo to stop running she then turned to her old friends slowly and sadly the two Jedi never
saw like this even before she became a Sith she always happy, energetic, and a bit of a jerk but she had a heart of gold "hey guys" Tomo said slowly
unable to hide the depression in her voice she really didn't want to see them for she feared she would have to kill them and she had very fond memories of
them from back on their home planet, back when they could be kids or in most cases teenagers and every time they had faced each other it killed her on
the inside, she may not have been the nicest person to them but at the same time she never really truly hurt them "Tomo! It's good to see you again!"
Osaka said with a big smile on her face even Chiyo was smiling though she had different reasons….or did she? Chiyo could very clearly feel the good in
Tomo the conflict "I don't why you would, you do realize I am Sith and if you don't leave now…" Tomo said sadly she paused briefly as a single tear rolled
down her eye then finished by saying "if you don't leave then I will have no choice but to end you guys" another tear rolled down her cheek, Kaizer who
wasn't too far away saw the whole thing he didn't interfere because he believed Tomo could handle herself he also knew her pain "I know how you feel all
too well my friend" Kaizer whispered to himself as a tear rolled down his cheek and lowered his head "Tomo I can feel the good in you" Osaka said Tomo
with her head lowered activated her lightsaber "there is nothing left old friend, now if you please leave or else….." Tomo said without looking her voice
sounding like it was in pain Osaka and Chiyo hesitantly activated their lightsabers and got ready "Tomo please" Chiyo said pleading to her fallen friend in a
sad tone Tomo then looked at them and although reluctant attacked Osaka as the two clashed blades Chiyo stood on the side lines with her lightsaber
activated awaiting the right moment to strike, the battle between Tomo and Osaka wasn't impressive at all to look at neither combatant was giving it their
all, Chiyo put away her lightsaber and instead tried to disarm Tomo by using the force unfortunately it didn't Tomo had a death grip on her weapon Chiyo
then ran up to her and tried to do a force push attack on Tomo at point blank range but was winded and nocked against a wall when Tomo kicked her in the
gut hard, however the pain Chiyo felt from the attack was nothing compared to the pain Tomo felt from doing the attack and Chiyo through the force felt
the pain her old friend felt "come on Tomo I know your still in there!" Chiyo pleaded to her coming close to tears even Osaka lost her usual smile and
gained a sad, pained look "come on Tomo your better than this" Osaka said with a tone of sadness in her voice "th-the name is Darth Shadius" Tomo said
not that it made any difference in doing so her pain and inner struggle was obvious even from the outside "and there….there no conflict" Tomo said slowly
and sadly but ultimately she found herself unable to continue the fight and instead using the force to increase movements ran away, close to tears
"TOMO!" Nyamo and Yomi shouted calling out to her they had arrived just in time to see the end of the fight but they felt every waking moment of it
through the force "good to know there is good in her" Kaorin said of course there was no real need to point it out her inner struggle was so obvious that a
Jedi could feel it from another universe., Kaizer didn't bother to reveal his presence to the Jedi instead he followed Tomo to try and comfort his good friend,
as for everyone else as they contemplated on how to save Tomo a couple of lightsabers activated from behind them and then a pair of creepy voices asked
in perfect unison "care to play?"
The battle between Sakaki and Tyrannous roared, having accidently ditched her companions, they continued to clash with Tyrannous holding back he then
stopped long enough to ask Sakaki a question "who were your parents they must be proud" he said it in a complimentive manner "actually I was raised by
my aunt and uncle" Sakaki replied "I see, what if I told you I know your father?" Tyrannous asked Sakaki paused briefly but then said "I would say you're
full of it" Tyrannous just smirked and then asked "what if I told you I am your father?" that caught Sakaki off guard she didn't know what to do or say a
part of her believed he was lying but another part wasn't sure "b-but how would that be possible?" asked Sakaki "actually believe it or not I am not one of
your typical Sith, your mother died giving you life and instead of raising you I gave you to your aunt and uncle to be raised, I didn't want you to become a
Sith" Tyrannous said in the most sincere manner which again caught Sakaki off guard he sounded completely sincere she sensed no deception in him but
wasn't sure she was stuck in place as time seemed to freeze around her.
Meanwhile the Republic troops and Jedi managed to take out several buildings but only a handful were actually plants the explosions were impressive
meanwhile Darth Avia just laughed in an impressive wicked witch of the west fashion and then malevolently said "wait until they see what I've got in store
for them" as her eyes glowed red.
for once I ended a chapter without using Malacard, a nice change of pace for you all I think
