Helllooo~~! WAIT PLEASE DON'T HURT ME! I can explain! I have computer issues and havent been able to write. I just got my phone fixed...well sorta.. I'm working on it. Sorryyyy! _ Anyhow please ignore me and my crying in the corner and enjoy~~~.

My mind is on too many things, as of now, I feel like my mind has gone through chaos. The very words keep running through my head over and over again.

I never thought Haku would do that to me. After all, I was never treated as a girl back at home and Haku...he...

Oh great there it goes again. My eyes widen and I gasp as I feel the crimson blush run pass my cheeks. I squeal out loud and hide my face. Lin turns around and looks at me wierdly.

"Hey, what's your problem now?" Lin mutters, impatiently. I sigh and shake my head. She stared at me for a while, her hard stare was making me blush, but suddenly her lips curved to a smirk and she leaned in and whispered in my ear.

"Thinking about your love, Chihiro?" she giggled. My breathing stopped for a second and I turned away, hiding my face.

"Lin!"

She laughed and kept on teasing me while I kept my face hidden, until she leaned away. I peeked through my hands and stared as she slid the door open. Catching my stare, she smiled and flicked her head out.

"Come on. We're getting breakfast."

I nodded and followed her out the door and downstairs. We were by now in a sea of working spirits as they bustled past yelling orders and calling to others. I'm guessing the bath house liked to gossip because spirits would stare at me as they passed by or huddled in a corner and whisper. My bet was Kyo and Leo were playing Mess With Chihiro Play Time.

I held Lin's sleeve, afraid that if I were to let go, I would drown in the sea of spirits.

At last we made it to a room that was not so crowded but was still busy with workers. My attention was drawn to the smells and I instantly knew where we were. The kitchen. I followed Lin deeper into the large kitchen, but paid no attention to the path ahead of me but on the dishes piled with food on one side.

Spicy beef curry mixed with bright orange carrots and diced potatoes, a bowl of sweet miso soup with ingredients I'm sure is only found in the spirit world and plump golden pork, ready for the taking...but somehow, the tempting food was definitely not tempting me at the moment. Someone can really turn into a pig by gobbling the food down.

Staring deeply into the balls of rice wrapped in seaweed made me wonder if the possibility was...possible, after all this was the Spirit World.

My thoughts were popped when my mouth was plugged with the sticky rice. I muffled out loud in surprise and took the onigiri out of my mouth.

I was obviously not surprised to meet eye to eye with Leo. His mouth was coiled to a mischievous smirk.

"Hey."

I smiled politely, " Hey, Leo."

"So," Leo rose an eyebrow and leaned in to a whisper. "Haku wants to spend the day with you, so I'm gonna sneak you over."

The very words 'sneak over' made Leo's smile even wider, sending worry up my spine.

"Huh? Sneak? Why can't Haku come get me? Is something wrong? Are you going to put me to sleep again?" I started to feel even more worry with the questions I was coming up with.

Leo gave me an alarmed stare and shushed me as other spirits began to stare at us.

" Are you always such a worry wad? Gosh, about the Haku thing, he can't come for you himself because the spirits will insist you two stay here. He made an excuse to go to the village, and so, I'm taking you there." Leo paused, hoping that I caught on.

"And no I'm not putting you too sleep!" he hissed.

I giggled at Leo's angered expression that I've seen for the first time.

Shushing me again, he gestured me to follow him out of the kitchen. As soon as we were about to pass the doorway, Lin blocks the way with one hand across the door way and one the other with a tin bowl of rice.

"Where do you plan to harrass Chihiro? And behind my back?" Lin growled.

"Aww shut it, salmon breath, I'm just doing my job! Get out of the way, Lin!" Leo rolled his eyes and soon enough the two were butting heads.

I laughed at how much they resembled an older brother and sister. Leo looked away and pushed me out of the kitchen.

"Fiiiiiiiiine! I'll keep quiet! You have fun, Chihiro, and LEO if you lay a finger on her you're in big trouble, mister!"She glared.

"Shut it, Lin" Leo snapped. I giggled again and got another tug from Leo.

Just as we were feet away from the entrance to the bridge a small frog wearing a blue yukata jumped to our eye level and spoke.

The frog made me gasp in surprise but Leo, impatient to get out, grabbed the poor frogs face, stopping it from speaking.

"Kimonos. I'm taking her for kimonos."

Leo dropped the frogs head and took my wrist continuing on.

I was frustrated with myself that I couldn't start a conversation, but at long last I had it started.

"So Haku tells me you and Kyo were followers in the beginning."

Leo snorted. " If anything, we were major help that changed his life," he said so high and mighty. I smiled.

"Oh, really?"

Leo's grin melted and loomed at me solemnly. "But seriously, Chihiro, after you left, Haku went through a lot."

I felt my heart stop at Leo's unusual depressing expression.

"Kyo and I were just bystanders watching Haku and the bath house. First, you left, the bath house became a nut house and overthrew the boss, Yubaba. Haku had no choice but to take her place. His plans of getting you were on hold because of work and then those strange occurrences. Little by little, Kyo and I helped Haku until the day we worked together."

Leo paused and smiled as he looked away. "Theeeeen we were asked to help find you in the human world. Well, that was interesting," Leo smirked.

"Leo..." I frowned, the joke didn't hit me.

"Sorry, sorry. But listen Chihiro, no jokes, Haku's life can change now that you're here. He really suffered everyday he didn't get the chance to find you. So-" Leo looked ahead. "There he is."

I followed his gaze to the beautiful boy with ebony hair standing next to a wooden gate. I zmiled but turned to face Leo again. "So what?" I asked in hopes he'd finish his sentence. Leo looked at me amd rolled his eyes.

"Soooo... GET out of here." Leo pushed me forward and I stumbled away to waiting Haku.

Haku smiled brightly when I reached him. "Hey, Haku!" I said.

Haku leans his hand on the wooden gate and stares at me, my cheeks turn crimson.

"Hello, Chihiro. Ready for our day out?"

I gulp silently and feel my cheeks grow a darker crimson. 'Day out'? Haku notices my blush and pushes the wooden gate with a smile. He steps in and reaches his hand out to me. I hesitate for a millisecond but Haku's smile assures me.

We entered on into a labrynth of beautiful flowers, tall and shady. I was starting to wonder where exactly we were off too but Leo just said kimonos.

I began to stare at Haku aimlessly until I snapped my face around when he caught my stare from the corner of his eye and smiled.

"You shouldn't act so shy around me, Chihiro," Haku sighed.

"I-I'm not trying to, really," I said, twisting the bottom of my t shirt, "but if I am I'm sorry."

Haku laughed. "Well, it'll change soon, I promise I'll get you to feel more comfortable around me."

I looked at him curiously.

Ahead of us, I noticed we were somehow in the village. It was by this time dusk, time where most spirits come to the bath house. I always thought that the bath house was busy, but out here in the village was like a festival. Lamps were lit and the village was like a bazaar of traditional Japanese treats. I enjoyed the sweet smells of takoyaki...warm and freshly made, the pretty colors of the masks that were on display in stalls, and the exotic orange, white, and red fish in transparent bags tied with a crimson ribbon.

These details made me stop and stare in awe, my eyes feasted on such different things I never saw in my small, rural, modern Japanese town. Haku grinned at my silent awe.

"What is this?" My voice obviously showed I was taken aback.

"This is the Moon Festival," Haku said as he reached out for a candy apple and handed it to me. The rich light brown looked tempting but then again it was to pretty do eat.

"Thank you," I smiled brightly. We continued walking through the streets of the village, the hanging lamps lead the way.

"What do you celebrate the moon festival for?"

"Well, you see, the moon is like the only thing that keeps the spirit world alive..." Haku trailed off and I could feel his stare burn into me.

Slowly, I turned my head to face him. He was in fact staring at me. His eyes gleamed a brighter emerald in the moonlight. I wanted to ask if he was ok but my tongue was glued to the bottom of my mouth.

"If the moon were gone...then the spirit world wouldn't live."

We stared into each others eyes for a long minute until Haku sighed and looked away.

He laughed as he took a mask on display and held it in his hands. "This seems to suit you."

I looked over his shoulder and blushed. Haku held a mask painted as a girls face powered white with pretty brown eyes and her hair pulled back. On her right cheek was the Japanese word 'river'. Haku turned around and gently slid the mask over my head. His hand brushed my cheek.

Thank god the mask hid my sickening blush. The old spirit with the masks complimented the mask and I. Haku agreed. He thanked the old spirit and lead me on until we got to a lonely part away from the village. A single lamp hung from a cherry blossom tree. Underneath the tree was a wooden bench. I could hear the river nearby.

"I hope you had fun," Haku said, as we sat down on the the bench. I smiled.

"Best I had, yet!"

Haku chuckled and fumbled in his pocket. Slowly he lifted something silver and teal out of his pocket. He unfolded his fingers and held a beautiful silver necklace with a silver dragon with teal eyes. I gasped and hesitated to take the pretty little thing in my hands, afraid it might break.

Haku smiled and held the necklace closer to me. "Come on, it won't come to life you know," he teased.

I giggled and took the necklace on the palm of my hand. "Haku, this is beautiful..." I cooed.

"Here." He took the necklace back and slid my hair out of my neck. 'No blush, no.' I warned myself.

I touched the silver dragon with my fingertips and that's when I felt like I was just run over. So many things passed through my head. I remembered things I couldn't believe I would ever ever forget. How could I have forgotten about Haku's promise? He remembered everything and I thought it was maybe just a figment of my imagination until my memories of him slowly crumbled away. How could I do that to him? Even when I made him promise that we'd meet again, I was the first to forget. He never...

"There." Haku said, as he slid my hair back , admiring the necklace.

I felt my eyes burn and I buried my face into my palms. The tears streamed hot in my hands. I tried hard not to sob like the baby I always am.

Ch-Chihiro!? What's wrong? Did I do something wrong? I-"

"No!" I snapped up to look at him, the tears were hot on my cheeks. " I just can't believe I would have forgotten everything! About you! I made you promise we wouldn't forget and I'm the first to forget! After all that time...why wouldn't you give up on me. I...I'm sorry, Haku."

I shut my eyes tight and let the stinging sensation take over my eyes. I held the caramel apple tight. Haku rested his hand on my shoulder. I turned to see his expression as forgiving with a small smile.

"Chihiro, I never gave up because...I never forgot because..." Haku trailed off and looked away. Each time I was more curious to what he was going to say.

He sighed and turned back to me.

"Chihiro, don't feel sorry. Please. I..." Haku narrowed his eyes and shook his head lightly. Next thing I knew I was in his strong arms. His warm shirt soothed me and I felt the urge to sleep.

I was afraid I would make tear stains in his pearly white shirt and tried to pull away but his hug was too strong.

"H-Haku?" I gasped. His grip was slowly tightening and he rested his head on my shoulder. I could feel his warm calm breath on my shoulder. Once again I thanked god for Haku not seeing my tomato face.

"Chihiro...I want us to stay together...I won't leave you again...so please.." Haku whispered.

I felt faint in his arms but I smiled and with shaking hands, hugged him back.

"Yes."

Haku pulled away only far enough so that we were inches apart. I braced myself for what I expected and shut my eyes tigtly and nervously. I heard Haku laugh quietly and I peeked open my eyes to see him lightly knock his forehead onto mine. His gorgeous emerald eyes slowly closed.

I smiled at his quiet sleep like face then closed my eyes too.

"Thank you, Haku." I whispered so quietly that I'm sure Haku didn't hear.

Haku's POV:

I couldn't believe I nearly begged Chihiro to stay here at the spirit world. But, that's just the way I felt and couldn't help it. I looked down at Chihiro. Her face was still red. So cute.

We were walking back to the bath house. The Moon Festival was starting to close down.

'Hmm...That's strange. The festival doesn't end for another three hours. As we walked towards the bath house, I grew suspicious as the workers began to close their doors. The bridge to the bath house was close by.

I noticed someone running towards us, someone with black hair. Leo? No..its Kyo.

By the look on his face something is clearly wrong.

At last we finally met, Kyo was breathless.

"Haku, big problem, the old-" Kyo stopped himself and turned his head to see if anyone was looking. "The old hag made contact. She sent a letter." Kyo held up a red envelope with a gold seal shaped as a crow.

I stared at it bitterly. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Chihiro staring at the red envelope curiosily. I snatched it away, afraid she might ask who it was from. She flinched at my quick move. I sighed.

"I'll get to it."

Kyo nodded and slid his eyes to Chihiro, raised an eyebrow, then turned and walked away.

Before she could say a word I took her inside the bath house.

Great, that ruined my mood a bit. I had my hand on the bottom of Chihiro's back and lead her to Lin, who was holding a bucket of hot water.

"Chihiro!" Lin said, with a smile. Her eyes met mine and she frowned. "Oh, Haku."

"Thanks for the love, Lin."

"My deepest pleasure, bud."

Chihiro's sweet laugh made me feel a little better, but the letter in my pocket brought back my irritation. Chihiro noticed.

"Haku, is something wrong."

I looked into Chihiro's chocolate brown eyes and smiled.

"Everything's fine," I said brushing my hand on her cheek. "I'll be back. Stay with Lin for me, please."

Chihiro hesitated but nodded. I gave her a reassured smile and turned away.

I walked all the way upstairs to the office where Yubaba originally kept her office to open the letter even though I just wanted to rip the letter to shreds.

Calmly I tore the letter open and stared into the written letter.

"My suspicions were correct after all...unfortunately," I growled under my breath and began to read.
