Okay, so this is the real last chapter. Promise. Lol

"Oh my God Dawn!" Lita exclaimed for what felt like the billionth time in the past hour. "Stop! My hair is fine!" She said slapping Dawn's hand away from her hair.

"Not really," Dawn said as she tried to fix Lita's hair once again, but only for her hand to be slapped away again. "It's bad enough you picked a black wedding dress. Your hair just needs a little more help."

Lita groaned in frustration. "No, it doesn't. It took long enough in the first place and it's fine now. And if women can wear pink, then I can sure as hell wear black at my wedding. My wedding, my choice. Keyword being 'my'. It's my wedding and I'm saying my hair is fine. Now stop touching me or I will have to break your hand."

"You're very violent."

"Deal with it."

"Adam's so lucky he get's to marry you and deal with you for the rest of his life."

"Duh." The bride looked up and faced the maid of honor who could tell the time to kid around was done and it was time to be serious now.

"What's wrong Li?"

"I don't know," Lita shrugged. "Okay, that's a lie. I'm kind of nervous and a little scared. Okay, really scared and a whole lot of nervousness going on. I don't know why I'm feeling like this, but it's normal, right? I mean, you had a total freak out on your wedding day. I remember me and your mom had to talk you out of pulling a runaway bride."

"You were going to leave Christian at the altar?" Trish asked surprised. She was one of Lita's two bridesmaids. The other being a cousin of the bride.

"No," Dawn began to answer. "I was not about to pull a runaway bride. That's only like fifty percent true. But you're right, it's normal to feel the way you do. But you two have been engaged for a year and you have been living together for that long too. And it was kind of like you were already married. You guys already had a mindset like you were already married for the past year. All you're doing now is making it officially legal. So it's not really that much of a difference. Except for the whole legal part but you know what I mean."

"She's right," Lita's cousin, Christy replied. "One of my friends was so anxious. She even puked, but all that stopped when she was walking down the aisle and saw her soon to be groom right there."

Lita nodded. "I know. I guess I feel nervous for no reason, but it's normal, so it's cool." It was quiet for a moment before she spoke up again focusing her attention to Dawn. "I don't understand why you left Chloe with your mom," she said referring to Dawn's seven month old daughter.

"Because she's a baby and she's going to cry and I want to actually enjoy your wedding."

"So for your own selfish reasons?" Lita joked.

Dawn stuck her tongue out at her. "Shut up."

"You know your parents were invited and I would have loved for them to come. You know your mom still could have came and looked after Chloe even here if-"

"I know," Dawn interrupted her friend, "but she was going to cry and my mom doesn't mind so it's okay. Now leave me alone about that." Lita simply rolled her eyes and said nothing.

Meanwhile, the groom was having his own little freak out session in another part of the venue where the wedding was going to take place.

"You ready?" Christian asked Adam, who was pacing back and forth.

"Nervous," the groom replied.

Christian shrugged. "I can see that. It's normal, I was the same way. And well, you remember Dawn almost left with how anxious she was."

Adam stopped his pacing before he turned to face Christian. "Are you saying Lita is thinking about leaving me at the altar? Do you know something I don't?"

"Um no. That's not what I meant at all. I was just explaining that it's normal to be nervous."

"Okay," Adam nodded. "You're right."

There was a knock on the door and in came Adam's mother along with Ethan and Brooke. "The ring bearer and flower girl are all ready," she said referring to the two children.

"And they look very cute," Adam said smiling at the two children.

"Daddy, you look nice, but mommy looks very pretty."

"Mommy's always pretty." Ethan smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Where are Chris and Kurt?" Karen asked referring to the two groomsmen when she noticed only the groom and best man were in the room.

"Around here somewhere," Christian replied. "They stepped out for a few minutes.

"Well, it's almost time for the ceremony to start." She turned her attention to her son before she asked him a question. "Are you ready?"

Adam nodded. "Oh mom," he began to say when he noticed his mom was already getting teary eyed. "Please don't start crying."

"I can't help it. My little boy is getting married." She continued when she saw Adam was about to say something. "I know what you're going to say but you will always be my little boy no matter what?"

"I know mom," Adam said as he walked up to her and hugged her.

"Okay, well I'm going to go out there now and I'll see you later. I'll send Chris and Kurt here if I pass them by." With that said, she left.

The newlyweds smiled at one another as they danced on their wedding day, oblivious to those around them. It was their moment and they felt like they were the only two in the room, or the only two in the world. Who would have thought they would be married after all the been through? Not them, especially the bride, for sure. But like Dawn said, it just showed how strong their relationship was and how much love there was between the two.

"You're so beautiful," Adam said smiling at his wife as they continued to dance. Some guests had joined them on the dance floor a couple of minutes ago, but they were still pretty much oblivious to those around them.

She smiled back at him. "You don't look too bad yourself."

He raised a brow. "Is that some sort of compliment?"

She shrugged. "I mean, not really, but take it however you want." She laughed when a pout formed on his face. "I'm kidding. You look very handsome."

"I know," he said with a smug look present on his face. "I just wanted to hear you say that."

She rolled her eyes and shook his head at him. "You're a dork."

"And yet, you love me."

"Sometimes."

"All the time."

Lita was about to continue messing around with her husband, but something caught her eye and the sight made her a little sad.

"What's wrong?" Adam asked concerned. He followed her gaze when she didn't answer. He saw Ethan dancing with Karen and immediately understand why she looked a little upset. "She's not physically here, but she's still kind of here."

Lita nodded while she looked back at Adam. "I know. But I just miss my mom so much. Especially right now. I wish she could actually be here."

"I wish she could be here too. And I'm sorry she's not."

"She always said she would walk me down the aisle since that deadbeat dad of mine left. I don't even know if he's alive or not. I don't even care, but..." She smiled before continuing. "I imagined my mom walking right beside me when I was really walking down by myself. I was still a little nervous even after I saw you, but just thinking my mom was next to me made me feel more at ease."

"See? She is here in a way."

"I love you."

He smirked at his wife before he replied. "Good thing because you did just marry me. How terrible would a loveless marriage be?"

"That's not funny."

"It is to me." She rolled his eyes at him, but said nothing. "I love you."

"You sure I didn't force you to say that?"

Now it was his turn to roll his eyes at her. "Pretty positive."

"Mommy!" The two heard Ethan say and they turned their attention to their son who was now standing right next to them. "Come on," he said grabbing one of Lita's hands, "I want to dance with you."

"You don't want to dance with me?" Adam asked, pretending to look offended.

Ethan shook his head. "No. Maybe later, but mommy first."

"He's been dissing me all day for you," Adam said as Ethan began to drag away a laughing Lita a little bit so the mother-son duo could dance together.

"I'm better. Deal with it."

"Your son doesn't want to dance with you, but your mom does. So please dance with me," Karen said. "Don't give me the same answer he did to you."

Adam laughed a little at that before he did as his mom asked him. He looked over at his wife and son who were definitely having a good time. He was glad he and Lita were able to get past and talk and resolve any problems the redhead about their previous situation. Right now, everything was as perfect as it could be and he hoped it would always stay that way.
