The Way I Are
Chapter Eleven
It may seem a little strange, but when Draco fell asleep while we were watching a movie in my sitting room, I couldn't help but smile at how sweet and vulnerable he looked. Especially because he fell asleep with his head on my lap.
But as soon as I start to get tired myself, I sadly have to wake him.
"Dray," I whisper lightly, placing my hand on his shoulder, shaking him slightly.
Draco shakes violently before shooting up into a sitting position.
"Harry? Why did you let me fall asleep? That must have been incredibly attractive," Draco sighs, running his fingers through his hair and laughing nervously.
I smile and laugh lightly back, "Actually, it was."
Draco inhales heavily, his eyes connecting with mine as I lean into him, completely forgetting about my getting slightly tired. Draco leans toward me too, sliding his hands onto my thighs.
"So, Harry, I have a question for you," Draco whispers, leaning even closer so his lips are almost touching mine.
"Uh huh," I mumble back, placing my hands on his chest.
"Care to finish what we started earlier before we were so rudely interrupted?"
"Absolutely," I say, grabbing his shirt in my fists, pulling him down on the sofa with me so we're both lying down, him hovering over me.
His lips touch mine and I reach down between us, pulling at the hem of his shirt. Reluctantly, Draco pulls back from me enough to yank his shirt over his head.
Draco tosses his shirt aside, growling in his throat before falling back down, kissing me again.
The way Draco and I are kissing now is nothing like the other times. This is slow and romantic, but also full of passion.
Draco and I stay in that same configuration for another ten or so minutes, shedding our clothes as we go until we're down to our underwear.
"Let's go to my room," I breathe, kissing him once more.
Draco nods eagerly, standing up and pulling me up with him, my lips still on his.
We walk sloppily toward my bedroom, falling onto my bed when we get there.
Draco and I slide underneath my quilt, pressing ourselves as close together as we can.
Draco fists my bedsheets in his hands, moving his lips from mine down to my neck. My back arches as I drag my nails down his back.
Apprehensively, I slide my hands down further, dipping two fingers into his boxer shorts.
Draco laughs lightly, kneeling up, looking me right in the eyes as he slips his underwear down his legs, kicking them to the edge of my bed.
"Okay, you're incredible," I say, breathing heavily, rolling onto my side to look at Draco.
"Well, thank you. I'll take that as a compliment," Draco smiles, putting his hands behind his head, stretching.
Seeing as neither of us had bothered to get dressed yet, when Draco stretched, my quilt started to slip down, only far enough to expose his hipbones. But also enough to show off his amazing body.
"You know, Dray, if I wasn't so exhausted right now, I'd be tempted to go for round two."
"Good to know."
Suddenly, without warrant, a thought crosses my mind.
"Dray, what are we going to do about work? I'm not sure Kingsley would like two of his Aurors to continue being partners when they're sleeping together."
"Probably not. But who says he has to know?"
Draco rolls over so he's right in front of me, pulling me flush against him.
"What about Pansy? You know as well as I do that she'll jump for joy when she hears about this," I say, emphasizing my point by kissing him.
"Very true. But, what I'm more interested in is you, not her. So, if you'd please use your lips for something far more useful," Draco whispers, pressing his lips back to mine.
"Well, good morning," I smile, as I start on my paperwork for the day when Draco enters our office at work the next day.
Draco comes over to my desk and leans his forearms on it, smiling.
"Morning," he says, leaning across my desk to kiss me once.
Once then turned into twice, which turned into three times, which turned into me being pulled up from my desk chair and pushed up against the wall behind my desk.
"Well, well, well, Dray. Someone clearly didn't get enough last night," I whisper, placing my hands on his chest.
"Definitely not."
Draco presses himself as close to me as he can before kissing me again. And that continues on for about another ten minutes before Draco and I are reminded that we're at work by my mobile phone dinging once.
I sigh and pull it out of my pocket, flicking it open to check my text message inbox.
I'm on my way to your office. See you in a few minutes.
"Pansy. She's on her way here," I laugh, sitting back down at my desk, kicking my feet up onto it.
"Of course she is. She may not realize it, but she is such a buzz-kill. Not that I don't love her, because I do. She is my best mate, but man, does that girl know how to ruin a mood."
I laugh lightly and watch as Draco makes his way over to his desk, sitting down and leaning back on his chair.
"She didn't last night."
Draco is just about to say something back, (as if the fact that he smiled that sexy half-smile that he does didn't say enough already) but Pansy opening the door, a coffee tray in hand, cut him off.
"Good morning, boys!" Pansy shouts, placing the coffee tray on my desk and beginning to hand out two of the three she had. "Peppermint for Harry, and hazelnut for Dray."
"Pansy, you spoil us," Draco says, smiling as he takes a sip of his hazelnut coffee.
"I know. But I was kind of hoping that if I spoiled you with coffee this morning, you'd tell me how your weekend went, considering I heard nothing from either of you!"
"Sneaky. Very sneaky, Ms. Parkinson," I laugh, taking a sip of my own coffee.
"I was in Slytherin," Pansy smiles proudly, sitting herself down on the edge of Draco's desk.
"Ah, but, you see, Pansy, you seem to have forgotten something," Draco begins, standing up from his desk. "I can play dirty too," Yes, you can. "We don't have to tell you anything."
"But pleeeeeasseee, Dray! I brought you coffee!"
"And what a delicious coffee it is, but I do think it may be fun to keep you guessing on how things went," Draco makes his way over toward my desk and stands next to me, "Now, if you'd excuse us, we have very important things to attend to today. I'll give you a ring this evening. Dinner at mine?"
Pansy pouts but nods, kissing both Draco and my own cheeks before exiting our office, coffee cup in hand.
"You're mean. She was being very nice and you didn't even give her any details!"
"True, but sometimes it's better to leave someone wanting more than to give up the goods all at once," Draco whispers, coming closer and closer to me, until his lips are almost touching mine.
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah," Draco says, oh-so eloquently, leaning in like he's going to kiss me.
And just as our lips are about to touch, he pulls back, smiling again that sexy half-smile, seating himself firmly back in his desk chair.
"Somehow I'm getting the feeling that you're not exactly talking about Pansy here," I laugh, searching through my desk drawers for my quill.
"Well, Mr. Potter, maybe you'd do well to figure it out. Say, at my flat? Around ten?"
"Maybe. If I haven't got anything better to do," I wink, taking another swig of my coffee, looking him straight in the eyes.
Ello, my lovelies! I LOVE this chapter! I hope ya'll enjoyed it as much as I did!
Please, please review if you did! (:
