A/N Hey so I just thought of this idea for a story so just let me know what you think. I haven't updated in forever, just have writers block at the moment kind of annoying but there you go. Sorry I haven't updated in a while
It has been just over a wee since Zak has been to his first psychiatrist appointment but his behavior hasn't improved that much and he is still acting out, Monica thinks that if it is only Zak and Chandler at the next appointment that Zak will be able to tell Chandler what his problems are with him and hopefully Doctor Crow will be able to sort it out maybe even put Zak into a hypnotism and find out even more information that is needed to know.
Monica and Chandlers house
Breakfast time, Monica is making breakfast, Chandler is sitting at the table feeding Kaley her breakfast whilst keeping an eye on Katie to make sure that she doesn't make too much mess and so she doesn't throw her breakfast in the floor then. Zak is sitting on his chair at the table not eating just pushing his food around on his plate. "Are you going to eat that food or just waste it?" Chandler asks whilst taking Katies bowl away from her as she has finished and passes her bottle of juice to her. "I dunno." Zak answers "What is wrong with you this morning?" Monica asks Zak "I don't like school!" "Well your not going today, remember you have the appointment with me at the doctors office" Chandler tells him. "I still have to go to school after we have been there though because no doubt you will want to go to work as usual." Zak moans "Well actually I was going to say we will go and get Ice cream and go to the park after if you are good." Chandler tells him. "Oh lets do that then." Zak says sounding cheered up "As long as you are good and not rude to me or Doctor Crow then yes we can go" Chandler says, Zak smiles at this as he thinks that his dad is actually going to spend some time with him alone. "Well Mom has work, so who is going to look after the girls?" Zak wonders "The girls are going to Aunt Rachels for a play-date today until tonight." Monica tells him. "Actually Rachel phoned earlier this morning whilst you were inthe shower and said that the girls can stay the night there tonight and she will bring them back tomorrow evening as she is not busy and it may be easier then." Chandler tells Monica "Great, its just us three tonight then. We shall get take out and watch movies and play games together." Monica suggests "That sounds good. Like old times when I was little!" Zak exclaims.
At the Psychiatrists office
Half way through the appointment everything is going well and Zak has almost resolved all of the issues with Chandler. "Chandler how do you feel about not being in Zaks life from when he was first born?" Doctor Crow asks "Well I felt heart-broken when I first found out he was mine and I never got to be there for any of his first times of things, but then I realised that I will have plenty more of firsts with him still. I missed out on a lot and I know it probably made Zak upset that I got to see his sisters firsts and I didn't his. Maybe that is the reason that I am not always there for him or don't spend time with him alone as much as he would like." Chandler says "We are going to go out for ice-cream and to the park to play after just us." "Zak tells Doctor Crow "Well that is very good then, I am glad you two are making plans to do things together just the two of you. You should make it at least once a week to do something together just you two and stick to it because that way it will build up trust and a better relationship between you as father and son." Doctor Crow suggests. "I agree, I think that if we build a relationship again things will get better and maybe Zak won't be too moody as much as he has been." Chandler says "Yes, I haven't been the best since my last time I saw you Doctor Crow but I will do my best not to get mad as much and if I do I will do the things that we talked about earlier and try to calm down." Zak tells them. "Good and what do you do if you can not calm down?" Doctor Crow asks to make sure that he has listened. "Well I should leave the room and get ball of paper or something like that and keep squeezing it until I am calmed down. Or I could go onto my play-station and play my car games and drive then fast to take my anger out." Zak says "Very good Zak, I think we are almost done here. Do either of you have any questions?" Doctor Crow says "Nope I am all good." Zak and Chandler both say at the same time. "Well if you ever have any more problems and need me just phone me up and book an appointment." Doctor Crow tells them. "Thank you very much for helping us out." Chandler says whilst shaking her hand and leaving the office with Zak.
Later that night at Monica and Chandlers house
Chandler, Monica and Zak are there in the living room eating dinner. They all decided on ordering Chinese food as everyone likes Chinese food and it is not too expensive for the three of them. They have a whole pile of movies lined up to watch for the night, They all choose out 1 to watch but let Zak choose 2 as he couldn't decide between batman or Spider-man. "I am glad we are all together just the three of us tonight, Not that I don't like having my sisters around but its nice just us three sometimes." Zak says "It is nice, How did your appointment go today?" Monica asks trying to start a conversation between the threee of them. "It was okay, I don't have to go back any more and Doctor Crow gave me some tips on things to do if I get mad." Zak told his mom "Yeah, She said that Zak could count to ten, go to his room, Play on his play station to take out the anger or just ignore the anger and just take out the anger later." Chandler tells Monica about what Doctor Crow said. "That is very good then. We will see how that works out. It is good that you don't have to go back anymore." Monica said "She said that if we ever need her for anything then just call up and make an appointment." Chandler says.
They all go on with the night and watch their movies together as a family. They also play scrabble and pictunary but they don't really have teams they just randomly guess what the person is drawing they find it more fun that way. Zak didn't get mad all night and was very happy that both of his parents were paying attention to him and only him for once rahter than his sisters being there too and because sometimes Katie messes up the games not meaning to thought he was happy she wasn't there to do that and they got to finish without being interupted.
Okay so that is it, Sorry if its not to great. Please review it doesn't take long and it makes me want to write even more. I am actually running out of ideas for this story now if anyone has any they would like to share with me then Private message me or just review saying, and don't worry I will say it was your idea if I use it :)
