A/N: Sorry about the incredibly slow update. I now have no laptop of my own. So I will have to use my mum's. Won't get a new one til Christmas.
Ally's POV:
As I approached Austin's house, I began to feel nervous.
If he was anything like me, then he would not like to be disturbed if he was upset; It was only the need to make sure that one of my closest friends was okay that allowed me to continue to the front door.
After a short wait, Austin's Dad answered the door.
"Oh Ally, I'm so glad that you are here. Austin hasn't left his room since he got back from the Sonic Boom; not even for pancakes."
"Would you mind if I checked on him?" I pondered aloud, hoping he would give me permission.
"Sure. Go up the stairs and it's the second door to your left."
"Thank you!" I called over my shoulder as I hurried up the stairs.
I took a few calm breathes before I knocked on Austin's bedroom door.
I heard a few sniffles, before I heard a weak "Come in."
Shyly, I approached Austin's bed and what I saw just broke my heart; Austin was hunched over in the fetal position with his eyes all puffy from what could have been from hours of crying.
"Austin, what happened?"
"I don't want to talk about it."
"Please. Talking about can help."
Austin sighed. "I'm in love with someone, but I know that they don't love me back."
"Have you even asked that person how they feel?"
"I-I-I can't."
"Austin, if I can conquer my stage fright, then you can ask the girl out."
"Ally, asking the girl out would change the relationship that I have with her already. Right now, we are really good friends, and if she didn't return my feelings, then I don't think I could handle a friendship with her."
If you don't mind me asking, who is this girl that you are crushing on?
He paused, the fear was amplified in his eyes. I gave him some time, and he finally whispered:
"It's you."
A/N: Sorry for the short chapter but I'm on limited time. this was just a quick thing.
