Author's Notes: Hope you like the next chapter. Anyone watched Atlantis yet? I like it just they kinda messed up a tone of myths.

Isengard and Edoras

In a matter of seconds the Nymph Guard had disappeared only leaving faint light holograms of their positions in the room. Soon those too faded into nothingness. After Thèoden and many of people asked how the Castdeian Guard and departed so quickly and unseen, I did my best a helping the wounded with Legolas and the Twins who were far more experienced in such things than I. Then again Horus in human form was far worse at medicine than anyone even children could wrap up wounds better than him.

Elladan was made to manage a group of children, which did end in havoc as you can guess. He managed to cheer them up with Elvish stories and legends but he also managed to get them to start calling Gimli, inappropriate Elvish and Castdeian names. These names, as you can guess they were insults, then again Gimli thought them as complements. So every other person or Elf with knowledge of the languages left them be.

The next morning all those who were fit and knew how to fight, rode out to Insengard. Horus soared the skies ahead, giving up dates of the path ahead, every so often.

My back felt lighter and straighter without Thsan and Drethan going across my shoulder blades.

The Dunedain all rode behind Aragorn, their rightful leader. The Twins spilt from them and chatted to Legolas, asking about how their grandmother, Galadriel, was doing. The Rohirrim rode behind the King and his nesphew, or they sometimes mingled with the Dunedain. The Elves had stayed at Helm's Deep to help the wounded and sick but those who were not talented in those ways went back to Lorien.

"Tara, you might have to stay out Saruman's sight. We do not need him alert Sinolest" Gandalf explained.

Though I wished to protest, I nodded. "How should I do that?"

"Stop outside of the gates and do not enter through them. He can sense who passes those gates and I fear Sinolest can sense that as well." He explained. "Horus most not enter either."

When we came to the broken fencing walls of Isengard and held back Damon from entering and sat under a tree as the others entered. Isengard was now only a pinnacle pointing to the sky, locked round a lake of water. Horus came into his humanoid form and climbed a tree where he hung from one of the branches by his legs and folded his arms over his chest. Then the tree faught back and moved it's branches. Horus fell, but before he could hit the ground he changed and flew behind me. He changed back into his humanoid form and drew his sword. The tree began uprooting itself and towered above us.

My mouth fell open. "Blasmus" (Ent) I uttered to myself.

The apple tree laughed, making a booming sound. "It's been a long time since someone has named us by the Castdeian tongue" It said with it's golden eyes wide open, looking down at me.

"Thats because I am Nymph." I explained.

The tree looked at Horus and huffed. "That may be what you are, or it may not. But you both are Burners. I felt his scorching touch and I see the flames behind your eyes. You will burn me like that daemon Saruman." he bellowed with hatred.

"Then I would've done that already. Fire is only in my nature, not soul. My kind are Benders but most defiantly not Burners. Phoenix's are the same as my kin. I swear it on Nature's Springs that what I speak is the truth"

The tree rooted itself again and relaxed. "I believe you now. What is your name Nymph? I am Woodtraper."

"Tara Stormhold and he's Horus" I answered. Horus put away his blade and bowed to the Ent in greeting.

"I am tired these days. I shall rest now. You are welcome to rest in my shadow, Lady of the Northern Woods" The Ent's eyes shut to the waking world.

I sat in Woodtraper's shadow and and drew out pictures of the ruin of Isengard in the sketchpad of the Six Night Hunters. Damon grazed upon the grass.

When they came back they bared odd news, Grima had stabbed Saruman in the back and both had died. Grima by the bow of Legolas. Pippin and Merry had grew in arrogance and seemed to think it was their job to explain Longbottom Weed to King Thèoden.

We rode back to Edoras by the cover of the setting sun and evenings dusk. After two days ride we arrived in Edoras in the late afternoon. Life and colour was now in the city, but one could not avoid the sight of veiled widowers and mothers, whom wished for their son's or husbands return rather than yours.

A feast was made in the Great Golden Halls. "Tonight we remember those who gave their blood to defend this the victorious dead" The King of Rohan cried standing up, holding his goblet to the sky.

Everyone got to their feet and raised their glasses. "Hail" Then the feast trully began.

I sat with Legolas, the Twins and Horus in human form at a table. A devious idea popped into my head to get my own back on any future teasing carried out by the Twins. "You know you both said that you were masters of flirtation, I dare you both to flirt with...her" I pointed to a elderly woman, who was mothering an embarrassed solider of Rohan.

The Twins gulped and looked at one another. "She's like 70 years old and not my type" Elrohir protested.

Legolas smirked. "Seventy is young compared to all of the Immortals at the table."

"Go on, you two. Or must I tell some rather embarrassing stories about you both to anyone I meet?" I warned. The Twins gulped then got to their feet and walked towards to the woman.

About five minutes later, the Twins came back. Elladan was rubbing his check and Elrohir looked like he had just seen something that would live in his mind are a terrifying memory. "She slapped Elladan in the face and called me a Looker. She made me dance with her. I want to drink away my memories, shame my alcohol tolerance is high." Elrohir said with a stunned expressions. He picked up a tankard of ale and drunk it in one.

Elladan smirked. "She tried to kiss 'im" He teased before taking away tankard from Elrohir's quivering hand and put it to his red cheek to cool the searing pain from the slap.

We held back our laughs. Legolas took my hand under the table to held tight like he would never let go, I interlocked my fingers in his and smiled. "Are you gonna live by your promise?" I whispered to him when the Twins and Horus began arguing loudly about who had killed the most of Saruman's horde.

Legolas smiled. "Of course, an Elf of Mirkwood never lies unless it gets them out of trouble." He protested as he got to his feet. He bowed his head and held on to my hand for all to see. "Would you be so kind to help me not look like a fool in this dance?" He joked with a smirk.

"So long as you don't shout if I step on your toes." I accepted getting to my feet. I listened to the beat of the music and looked at the people dancing, taking in the common moves and trying to remember them. It seemed the toot of the horn signalled for people to change partners, if you wanted to. "If I am braking your toes please mention it quietly." I whispered.

The dance began, I looked at Legolas hopefully wondering if he would judge me by how bad I was at dancing. I ducked under is arms when others did so and tried my best at keeping in time. It seemed Legolas was also not the best dancer in the world. But we still tried our best. The horn sounded two times, neither of us wanting to part. Our eyes were lost in each other, the dance floor seemed empty until the horn sounded and I was tapped on the shoulder by Èomer. "May I take over?" He said politely.

I looked at Legolas as if to plead him not to go, but my answer came when a little girl stumbled into Legolas's leg. Tears fell down her face. Legolas picked her up in his arms. "What's the matter, flur?" (flower) he asked.

"Pappa said I wasn't aloud to stay up. Pappa said I had to go to be looked after by nana. I only want to dance." She cried, sniffling.

"If I let you dance with me do you promise to go to your grandmother?"

The little girl nodded. Legolas mouthed the words sorry and let go. Èomer was still holding his hand, still wanting me to take it. "One dance, understand?" I warned after I recluctenly took his hand. He nodded. But that was not to be so. I was passed round, solider to soldier, even Dunedain to Dunedain till I made up the excuse that I needed air. Legolas had been pulled into a drinking game that he would surly win because he was an Immortal.

I slipped past the Twins and went to Aragorn who had a smug look about him. He watching Pippin and Merry sing as they danced upon the table hitting their hairy feet together.

"Oh you can search far and wide,

You can drink the whole town dry,

But you'll never find a beer so brown,

As the one we drink in our hometown,

You can drink your fancy ales,

You can drink them by the flagon

But the only brew for the brave and true,

Comes from the Green Dragon"

The song finished and people cheered and applauded the song by the two young Hobbits. I clapped my hands together as Pippin and Merry both bounded up to us, grinning like cats who got the cream. Horus skulked up behind them and made them jump by resting his hands upon their shoulders. "Hello boys" He said when they looked up at him.

They had only saw Horus's humaniod form on the way back to Edoras. However, neither of them dared to ask Horus who he was, that infomation had to be explained by Legolas and the Twins. "Are you Phoenix's always this tall?" Merry asked looking up at Horus.

Horus shrugged. "Most males are but female Phoenix's are usually smaller in these forms, maybe Tara's height." He answered. He then looked down at Pippin, who still craved to touch the Palantír. "Pippin, if what you are thinking is true then it would be a folly idea. That stone is no toy nor treasure. DO NOT TOUCH IT." He whispered to Pippin with great warning in his voice.

Pippin frowned and twiddled away with his arms crossed. I looked at Gandalf. "Keep an eye on him and on the Palantír."
