"Mommy? Daddy?" a little girl with blonde hair and big brown doe eyes asked, leaning up from her bed as she looked around her dark room. The moonlight's rays served as her light that seeped through her windows.

"Mommy? Daddy are you there?" she asked once more. Her cute little voice cracked, showing that she was scared as her little body shook under the heavy layer of comforters.

Little girl, little girl. I see you~

"Who's there?!"

You'll know soon enough… For now you better be a good girl, Lucy~

A sob escaped her as the voice inside her head laughed like a devil. Her sobs carried on until it turned into a full outcry and alerted her sleeping parents. Both parents rushed inside her room, her mother calming the little one with all her might, while her father checked her room for any intruders. But when he saw no evidence of an intruder barging inside his daughter's room he immediately went to his girls and hugged them. The very thought that crossed his mind was that his daughter might have had a nightmare. But he was very wrong.

16 YEARS LATER...

"Lu-chan! I'll see you tomorrow okay! You better come to my sleepover or I'll have Erza drag you there!"

"Mou~ For the hundred time Levy-chan! I'll go, I promise. You know I never back out of my promises" Lucy reminded her frowning blue haired best friend.

"Ohh~ Fine, see you until tomorrow Lu-chan! Enjoy your date with Sting-kun!" teased Levy before bolting away from the swat Lucy was about to give her.

"Mou~ that Levy-chan…" Muttered Lucy. She then turned on her heel and headed home to get ready for her date. Her house happened to be a 30 minute walk away from her school, but she always had to pass by the park in going to school or going home. She didn't get why her parents would want a house that was almost surrounded by trees.

Haven't I told you to not go out with any guy?

"You again!" Lucy hissed, talking to the voice in her head again. "What do you want?"

Tsk. Tsk. Trying to talk back now are you Lucy? Tell me, has that guy Sting been teaching you to talk back now?

"So? What if he did?"

Awww~ and I told you to be a good girl too~

"Shut up! I'm not listening to you!" why does it sound like he's near? Lucy thought.

Ah ah ah~ should I do something to that Sting guy?

"Don't you dare touch him!"

"Should I kill him Lucy~" a voice whispered in her ear.
