AN: Well I can't sleep, so I thought after all the time I left you hanging I would be nice and post two chapters today. Just don't always expect this, it's only because I'm sick.
CHAPTER 4:
Mood swings:
Previously:
"Oi, Song." Phoebe turned on her heel upon hearing the head girls voice behind her. "I think we better have a talk... Don't you?"
"Oh, um, Kelly... Hey, I was just exploring the school a little, you know 'cause I couldn't sleep." Phoebe daren't look Kelly in the eye, Phebes was generally good at lying, but Kelly Jones seemed like someone who saw through the most carefully thought out lie.
"Phoebe Song." If that's even her name Kelly thought, "If you just popped out, for a walk you say. Why is it someone saw you leave the dorms at just before three am?"
"Well, you see... I suffer... From, severe insomnia. I felt like I needed to have a walk around, stretch my legs a little. And so I was walking down one of the corridors and I heard a phone ring. Not long after that I went into the gardens and when I came back I bumped into you." That sounded plausible. Didn't it? Phoebe thought to herself. Hopefully it would be enough to fall Kelly, or at least send her in the wrong direction. She couldn't let on that she knew the girls were looking into her, or they'd suspect something suspicious, that was if they didn't already...
"Phoebe, you puzzle me. One minute you're relaxed and amused at the world. The next you are wandering around the school in the early hours of the morning. No one knows anything about you; you're not on any database in the country, or in Europe for that matter. There are birth certificates and school applications sure, but, apart from those you literally don't exist. Who are you Phoebe Song?" Kelly's mind was working at one hundred miles an hour, so fast she though phoebe might even be able to hear it whir. Who was this girl? Where did she come from? Was she a spy? Or was she just one of those people that are almost completely invisible, like a creeper. Whoever she was Kelly made it her mission to find out, but right now she had the other girls to deal with.
"So, Madame Head Girl. May I please go to back to the dorm to get ready now?" Phoebe prayed she'd get out of the situation without having to reveal any of her unknown life.
"As long as you never refer to me as 'Madame' again you can go. Just don't wake the others yet. It's only quarter to six."
"But of course, your excellence." Phoebe said cheekily, feeling a lot better now she knew she was off the hook... At least for now.
Phoebe walked down to breakfast, hair pulled back in pigtails, dark red lipstick, her short skirt accessorised with chains, her shirt was black and rather tight with a few skulls on it, she wore big black patient shoes that made her around 5'9" and had a spiky dog collar around her neck. Let's just make one thing clear, Phoebe was NOT a Goth. Just like her best friend Abby was not a Goth. It was a style choice, a choice embraced by her mother and friends and discouraged by her Father. Now, she had yet to see what the girls thought of it. It was not something she wore all the time, she alternated between outfits. Some were Gothish (like her current one), some were more feminine (like the outfit she wore yesterday, some were stylish, some were practical and some were just random. Her outfit choice really depended on what mood she was in, she missed Abby all the time, but especially today so she had opted for the perky Goth look they both adored.
"Hey, Songbird. Nice get up!" Kelly crept up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. Phoebe turned, not even flinching.
"Thank You your excellentness." Phoebe did a mock bow and Kelly glared.
"Now Songbird, I do believe we have lessons to attend to, because, believe it or not one of the lessons here is actually compulsory. Now if you would like to follow me, I'll take you to your classroom." Kelly usually didn't notice new girls much, but she had to admit this one really intrigued her. The girl had spunk, sass, cheekiness and loyalty to name a few. As much as it intrigued her, it also scared her and she couldn't quite place why.
"So mam' in a school like this i'm struggling to think what could possibly be compulsory." Well Kelly was being nice... Like absolutely nothing happened this morning...
"This way Songbird..." Phoebe was pulled quickly form her thoughts as she heard the head girl call to her. "Hurry up Songbird, I don't bite..." Kelly said winking.
"Madame Head Girl, you ain't answered my question... Which class are we going to?"
AN: Review and say what class you would like to be compulsory it can be anything within reason. (Nought weird though, like unicorn feeding, but alsonought boring like Maths).
