A trap set for Sam lands Dean in hot water. As Sam races to save his brother, the Winchesters find themselves being used as pawns in a brewing demon war. And what does this have to do with Yellow-Eyes and his special kids? Set in season 2 between canon events.

15. Sequel

Hi, (sorry, not a new chapter)

Just a quick note to say that the sequel for this story is finally underway and I posted the first chapter today.

It is called Evermore in the Wind (from a WASP song), is set in season 8 (six years later), and we get to find out what has happened to Jenna, Quinn, Tyler, and of course, the Mini-Moose.

I have also included a character (Nia) from a purgatory fic I did after this one (called Band of Misfits) but you don't have to read that one first as I will explain who she is as required. If you're curious to see what's been happening to Jenna, Quinn, and Tyler since being captured by Crowley, check out the sequel :)

"Alright, it's a weapon that's supposed to come in handy for the second trial."

"Course we don't even know what the trial is yet," Dean interrupted.

"Right, but better to have our hands on this weapon by the time Kevin figures that out."

"It's been weeks already," Dean pointed out, tension evident in the way his fingers were curled around the top of the steering wheel. "Weeks. And so far, secret agent Double-O-Kevin has only deciphered the first trial."

"It's closing the Gates of Hell forever, Dean. Locking every demon away for good. It's not supposed to be easy."
