FLASHBACK: (Elia as all grown up)
Elia walked with Shira to a cave that the whole pack use.
"Can you stay here?" Shira asked.
"Why? Where you going?" Elia asked.
"I was wondering if I should ask my father if I can go hunt." Shira answered.
Perfect, this is a chance to get her out of my life thought Elia. "You sure about that?"
"I'm sure. Wish my good luck," smiled Shira.
"I will." Nodded Elia. I'm not going to.
After Shira walked away, Elia layed down and smirked, she thought this would be hard to get Shira out of the pack, but today. Might be her lucky day.
Fang saw Elia and walked towards her. "Have you seen Shira? I can't find her."
"She went to her father," answered Elia, she didn't mind Fang. He was like just a side kick of hers or something.
"Oh no," grumbled Fang. "She went to her father so she can ask him if she can hunt, didn't she?"
"Your correct," said Elia.
"I told her she can't do that. And if she does go hunt, there's a big chance she might get kick out." Fang sat beside Elia.
"A big chance?" Elia asked.
"Yep, I just hope she doesn't do it." Said Fang.
Elia thought for moment, "what would you do if Shira did got kick out of the pack?"
"I'm not thinking about that, Elia. It's a horrible thing to ask about her." Said Fang.
"I'm just asking," said Elia. "Geez."
Shira came running back.
"Did you ask him?" Elia asked.
"No, he just said just look pretty until I get a mate," answered Shira.
"But, I don't want to just look pretty." Said Elia, nearly yelling. That of course was a lie, she loved looking pretty and get male to drool over her.
"Shh, Elia. You don't need to get in trouble." Fang said.
"Oh please, Fang. If I get in trouble, I'm bringing you down with me," smirked Elia.
"Do it and you are so dead," growled Fang.
Shira who looked like she was about to explode, "that's it. I'm gonna hunt no matter what." She walked out of the cave.
"No, Shira. You'll get kick out of the pack," said Fang.
"Well maybe I find a new pack," said Shira without looking back.
Trust me Shira, no one would want your fur or yourself thought Elia.
"What are you smiling for?" Fang asked, looking at Elia.
"Just thinking about something," said Elia. ""Uh, is Shira even good a hunting?"
"Nope, from the way we used to fight. I say she might just catch a little rabbit." Answered Fang, "not that I'm trying to be mean or anything."
"Well, I need to get a drink. So I'll be right back." Elia ran out of the cave and into the forest, she had a very excellent plan.
Elia pick up Shira's scent and followed it.
She duck behind a bush when she saw Shira walking on a path with her head low, sniffing the ground.
"Come on Shira, if I find myself a prey in ten minutes I'm sure I will impress the whole pack," Shira said to herself, looking around the area.
Elia slowly back away from the bush, still looking at Shira. Shira was now sitting, looking around for a sign of prey.
Elia turn and ran and stopped behind a tree in the shadows. She saw three gazelles munching on grass in a small area in the shining light. One was a small little kid and the other two was both adults. One male and other female. The little kid was eating grass and walking a bit further away from his parents, trying to find a good spot to eat.
Perfect Elia thought. She growled and pounce on the little kid. The kid gasped and it saw something pounce on him and pushed him to the ground.
"Mommy!" The kid panic.
"Tommy!" The mother cried.
"Let go of our child!" Said the father and he reared.
"Shut up if you want your little child to live," snapped Elia.
The two parents stopped and obeyed.
"Please, don't kill him. He's just two weeks old!" The mother cried on her mates shoulder.
"Well, I need one of you to do me a favour." Smiled Elia.
"Forget it!" Snorted the father.
"Fine then. I'll just have my lunch," said Elia and opened her jaws ready to take a bite on the kid.
"Wait! Stop!" The father lowered his head in defeat. "What do you want?"
"I need one of you to come with me," said Elia.
The father looked at his wife. His wife shook her head.
"I'll do it," answered the wife.
"No honey. I'll do it, for our family." Said the father.
"But-"
"No, don't worry. I come back for you and Tommy."
"Correction, you won't come back for your family." Smirked Elia.
"Leave my daddy alone," sniffled Tommy.
"I'll do whatever you say as long you leave my family alone," said the father.
"Fine with me." Elia said. She let go of the kid who ran back to his mother.
"Come on," Elia pushed the male gazelle forward where she last saw Shira.
Elia went back to the spot where she saw Shira. Shira was gone, but Elia had a hunch that Shira might come back to this spot.
"I want you to stand near the tree and pretend you're munching grass." Ordered Elia.
The male nodded and did what he was told. When he stood by the tree Elia pointed at, he looked at her.
"Is this it?"
"I would tell you what's gonna happen next, but you don't want to know," smirked Elia and she ran away when she saw Shira in the distance.
Tommy saw his dad standing next to a tree. Tommy hid behind a bush.
What was his daddy doing.
Tommy saw a saber sneaking in a patch of tall grass.
Tommy shut his eyes when he saw the horrible scene.
