Oh no! Herbert freed Bellykid! Vat happens next?
Lilly stood in the jail room. Rapid footsteps could be heard behind her, then Gary and Jet pack Guy came into the room.
"We heard commotion from back here and- Woah! What happened here?" Jet asked.
"Herbert freed Bellykid. He said that she was working on getting information for some guy in America."
"What happened to Herbert?"
"He got away."
"I'll get working on some research. I'll send a few agents out for a while to see if they can find any clues about where they went." G said.
"Bellykid's in America. Who knows where Herbert went."
"Well, we can figure it out." Jet said.
"Let's send Jet out to look for tracks. If he finds anything, we can send some scouts out." G suggested.
"Sounds good." Lilly agreed.
Jet was getting ready to leave, but he looked worried. As he shrugged on his jet pack he sighed nervously.
"Something wrong?" Lilly asked putting her flipper on his shoulder.
"What if I have another hallucination?"
"Ok...I've been working on a little device thingy unil I can figure out what you have been poisoned with." She said as she attatched a metal brace to his wrist. "Press this button when you have a hallucination and it'll shock you with a minor electric current. I know the hallucinations are getting worse, but this should be just enough to snap you out of it.
"Will it hurt?"
"Yeah. A little."
"Ummmm."
"Honey they're getting worse. I don't want you to hurt someone else and I'm sure you don't either."
"Fine." He said. "You should get going so you don't get back too late. You don't want to be tire tomorrow." She said squeaking her voice with the last scentance. He sighed.
"Love you." He said kissing her then leaving.
Jet pack Guy was flying through the wilderness where Herbert's hideouts are usually located. He saw some perferations on the surface of the snow. He landed near them and walked over to them, taking pictures.
"Definetly Herbert." He muttered. He looked down the trail of tracks and followed them. He eventually wound up finding a door that opened into Herbert's "house."
"Hello?" He asked walking over the cold concrete floor.
"Jet pack Guy? Is that you?"
"Uhh yeah." A white figure came out of the shadows.
"Hey!" He greeted. "Whatcha been up to?"
"Uh...hunting you down."
"Well ya found me." He walked over to a counter in the corner of the room. "Want some coffee?"
"N-no thanks."
"Suit yourself." He said taking a sip. "Blech! Coffee is awful."
"Why are you being so...nice?
"I don't know. I'm not neccesarily against you guys right now, I'm against Bellykid5. She took all my coins when she left. I'm trying to track her down right now." He answered gesturing to a home-made computer that looked like it was going to fall apart.
"Why did you free her?"
"She said she would pay me back by getting all the wood I needed to keep warm and double the amount of coins I already owned. Instead, she took my coins and left me with a bunch of ice!"
"Ok, I ain't going to arrest you because you didn't really do anything to harm the island, but I need you to come with me. I need you to help us."
"PROMISE, you won't arrest me."
"Personally, I won't arrest you, but the guys at the HQ will have final say about what happens in the end." Jet stated. Herbert thought for a minute.
"Ok. I'll come." He eventually agreed. Jet stood next to Herbert and teleported them back to the HQ. When they were there, G and Milli had the pieces from the Protobot in the command room.
"What is HERBERT doing here?" G exclaimed.
"It's ok. He's here to help us." Jet pack Guy answered.
"Whaaaa?" Milli responded in a minion voice.
"What's this?" Herbert asked referring to the chunks of metal.
"It's the Protobot. He tried to kill all the penguins and replace the island with robots." Jet answered.
Herbert gasped. "You tried to kill all the penguins? Will you marry me?" He fake cried and knelt by the scraps of the Protobot.
"Oh please Herbert!" Jet pack Guy said.
"Am I going to help you or not?" He snapped back.
"Come on." He said irritably gesturing to the polar bear to follow him. They walked through the EPF, their heavy footsteps echoing off the walls. Herbert looked around curiously since he'd never been invited into the headquarters before. It was nice. Definetly build better than his lair. The walls were built correctly, state of the art technology was used to lock doors and protect the computers. Although, Herbert still had the tools to hack in.
"Here." Jet pack Guy said arriving at the door of Lilly's training room. They all had one. They were about the size of the gadget room accept Lilly used her's as a giant research room.
Lilly was working on her computer, standing up. She had eye glasses on because after her long hours staring at a bright screen, her eyes were getting weak.
"Guy, I've almost have her location I just have to-" She turned around to see Herbert standing next to her boyfriend. "Herbert?"
"Hi!" He said cheerfully waving. "Long story short, I'm against Bellykid too and I'm here to help."
"Oooook? Just do what we say and don't ask questions. I don't need you yet so uhhh...Jet, take him somewhere." She told him. Jet led Herbert into the hallway and had him sit down.
"I'll be back in less than a minute. I gotta ask Lilly something real quick. Ok?" Herbert nodded.
"Lilly, how are you tracking Bellykid anyways."
"The nanoits, through blood and DNA codes." She remarked casually. Jet was a little creeped out.
"Ok then." He said leaving. When he went back out into the hall, Herbert was...gone?
