Aww Jetties birthday! :3 By the way, you guys all got it wrong. If was Herbert. Anyways, this is the last chapter. It'll be a little short because it's a build up chapter, just like the first one of The Road Ahead of Us. :(
By the way, you were all wrong, Herbert said "Will you marry me?"
The next day, Lilly and Jet were in the HQ. Lilly had come out of her training room to get a burn-disc.
"Hey Honey." Lilly said walking behind Jet who was standing at a computer.
"I feel old." He said blankly. Lilly giggled and gave him a kiss on the cheek before returning to her "training room." She sat down typed for what seemed like hours and eventually heard a knock at the soor.
"Come in." She said drowsily pushing her glasses up her beak. G walked into the room holding some papers.
"I got an E-mail from someone in America." He handed her the papers. "I sent Het pack Guy out again. He's looking for Herbert."
"Did he bring my device with him?"
"I'm pretty sure he did. I'll be with Dot if you need me." He said leaving the room.
Lilly looked at the email.
It read: "I'll be visiting soon at your work place. I bring, rather, unfortunate news."
Jet was flying over the wilderness, looking for more clues as to where Herbert had gone. He began to get a splitting head ache snd suddenly felt dizzy. He started spinning out of controll and he pulled out the remote Lilly gave him. He pressed the blue button. (Red is too mainstream.) When he did, he began to fall out of the sky when he blacked out.
Later on, a man arrived at the HQ and requested to speak with Lilly.
"Hello." He said shaking her hand.
"Hi, you wanted to speak with me?"
"Yes, well Mr. Pennings and the Vice president of the United States of America, were assassinated. You are now the president of America, since you were the leader of the Gaughan Militia. You will need to come to the country within a week."
"I can't do this. I din't want to go." She panicked.
"Ma'am." He stopped her. "Pennings is dead. See you, president." He saluted and left.
"Uhhg." She slumped in a chair next to Dot's wheel chair while Gary typed.
"There's so much you guys don't know."
After a half hour or so, Jet came to in the wilderness. Thank God he had his spy phone, although the teleportation antenna was broked, and was a mere quarter mile from the docks. He got up and walked to the docks.
Well, that's it. Thanks for reading and reviewing and I'll see you in my next story, "National Venture."
