Authors Note: Chapter 3!
Enjoy!
She walked through the dark hallway. The only light coming from the end. She got up feeling a pain in her arm as she pushed off the ground. She slowly walked toward it, carefully looking where she stepped. There was glass even though there wasn't a window or anything glass around. She looked up a bit and saw she was wearing a pure white dress. She apparently had a wristband on. She looked on it and read:
Patient: Amy Rose
Patient #: 1090865
Room: 36
She looked farther up her arm and saw blood. She hadn't realized she was bleeding. She turned around and saw a trail of red. She examined the cut on her arm. Did I Do That? She wondered. She looked back at the bright light. She didn't seem any closer. In fact, she looked farther away.
She started running, not caring if she stepped on the broken glass around her. She couldn't feel any pain, but she could feel the blood seep through the cuts on her feet. Suddenly, she stopped. Out of breath, she sat down and leaned her head against the wall, and stated crying. When suddenly, out of the blue, she heard her name. "Amy" it called over and over again.
Amy. Amy. Amy. Amy.
She closed her eyes and covered her ears. She opened her eyes again and saw the dark figure. He looked very familiar. He was wearing white sweatpants and a white t-shirt. His chest fur poked through the top of it. He also had a wristband on. And what also looked like a cut, similar to hers, on his arm. In the exact same spot. She kept on crying even though she felt a sense of relief to know she was not alone.
"Hello?" she asked. He didn't answer. Instead he just stood there like a statue, not moving, besides his chest, which moved up and down with every breath. She closed her eyes and imagined she was somewhere else. Anywhere. She felt herself not touching the ground. She knew she wasn't sitting on the ground anymore. Instead she felt warm. She opened her eyes to find her in the arms of the dark figure. He was carrying her toward the light. She closed her eyes again only to be set back down on the ground. She was immediately flushed with cold air. She opened her eyes to see that he was gone. All of a sudden she heard a screeching sound. The whole place was shaking. Debris and big rocks started to fall.
The light was coming closer, the shrieking sound got louder, and the hallway was shaking harder. She heard her name again.
Amy. Amy. Amy. Amy. Amy. Amy.
"Amy!" Said Blaze. Amy jerked her head up. The bell was ringing and Blaze had stopped shaking her. There were tears running down her face. And she was sweating.
"Amy, you're so lucky. The teacher wasn't here today. She had to do and errand and apparently it took the whole class period.
"So I was sleeping?" Amy asked.
"Yeah. And by the looks of it, it was a pretty bad dream" Blaze added.
Just a dream. Just a dream. Or was it a nightmare? She thought.
Amy got up and grabbed her stuff. She didn't get any work done and she cried all over her math book. She waited for blaze to walk through the door, swinging her long ponytail behind her. The she followed.
