Chapter 4
Kim's POV
The bell rings indicating the end of school. Today was an interesting day. I made new friends, decided to become part of the local karate dojo and met the Wasabi Warriors common enemy: Frank. He did not look very smart or very good at karate but hes continuous claims of him being a black belt create a slight hint in my mind.
I quickly pack my bags placing any books which i would need inside. I slam my locker door shut and walk down the school hallway.
As I approached the front doors of the school, I realised that it was raining. Fortunately my car was parked just outside the school. After swiftly getting my jacket out of my bag and placing it on top of my head, I ran to my car and quickly opened the door not wanting to get more wet then necessary.
As I began to manoeuvre the car out of the parking spot, I immediately press on the brakes as somebody whose identity is unknown jumps in front of the car.
"He Kim, any chance you could give me a lift home?"
As my eyes accustomed to the figure, I began to realise that it was Grace.
"Sure. Jump in before you get too wet!" I replied.
"Thanks"
"So where we off to?" I asked not knowing how to get to her house.
"Oh. Just keep going straight and take the fourth left. Then you will be at my street" Grace replied
"Wait... What number is your house?" I questioned knowing that we would be turning into the same street which I live in.
"Number 45. Why?" She immediately retorts.
"No way! Im number 47! We are next door neighbours!"
"Really? Well then must be fate that we met and became friends" she replied with a smile on her face.
For the rest of the ride we listened to "Call Me Maybe" singing out loud hoping nobody in the adjacent houses would hear our 'spectacular' singing.
Jack's POV
After getting all the books I needed, i walked out of school only to be pelted by the rain which was pouring over Seaford. As I opened the front door to the school, I witnessed my sister jumping in front of a car immediately stopping it. Not knowing whar was going on, I decided to watch the scene before me.
Not long after Grace jumped in front of the car, she got into it and the car zoomed away being lost in the droplets of rain.
I turned around, grabbed my bag and walked towards where my motorcycle was parked.
My parents did not like the idea of me having a motorcycle but I was able to convince them to let me get one. However, I had to pay for it myself.
I quickly placed my helmet on, started the engine and rocketed down my street towards my house not wanting to get anymore wet then I already was.
As I approached my house, I realised that the car that Grace jumped into was parked in our neighbour's driveway. Curiosity began to boil inside me as I wanted to know who lived there but the rain was coming down too hard and I decided to leave it for another day.
I parked my motorcycle in my driveway and walked up the long winding pathway which led to the front door of my house.
As I was about to open the door a mental picture of Kim appeared.
Her luscious blond hair cascading over her shoulders. Her lovely brown eyes appearing like a door to her innocent soul. Her perfect face with each crevice and dimple set in the right place. Wow, you just met the girl and your already picturing her in your mind.
I opened the front door to be shocked by the scene in front of me. Grace was sitting on the couch watching TV but there was somebody else she was talking to. I know that voice. It couldn't be. It's ...
