Suddenly she awoke...
Cinderpelt's head pounded and blood roared in her ears."Ugh!Curse that blasted dream!"
Cinderpelt's shook her head. She had thought the badger attack and the prophecy was all a dream.
It's a good thing I'm back in my medicine cat den. Wait a moment...
A strange yet familiar scent reached her nose.
This isn't the gorge...
She noticed that no mountains could be seen in the distance.
This isn't Thunder Clan either...
Then she noticed she wasn't even in the medicine cat's den.
Mrrow!This is the apprentice's den!
She also noticed a golden brown tabby tom,no more than 6 or 7 moons old was sitting,his tail curled around was licking his left paw and then swiping it over his ears.
"Excuse me,where am I?My name is Cinderpelt,cat of Thunder Clan and you are?"Cinderpelt asked reluctantly hoping this young tom would not attack her.
The tom abruptly looked up at her,his eyes rounding.
"Great Star Clan Cinderpaw,I don't know what you've been eating,but you may want to see if Yellowfang can help you because you obviously need medical attention."The tom laughed.
Yellowfang?I'm the one who seems mentally ill,hmph!This cat should see his reflection.
"It's me Brackenpaw,you crazy furball!"The tom purred.
Brackenpaw?Brackenfur?!
Cinderpelt stopped herself.
..Cinderpaw?Wait,was the dream...
Sunstar's supposed words rang in her ears: "We are taking you back in time. You will start off on the sunrise of the day your incident happened with the monster. Your injury will be healed. You will relive your life and become a warrior. You will be the only cat who will remember the events from the past "future"."
Cinderpaw gasped inwardly,many emotions swirled around. She felt as if she were to faint. Fear,Surprise,Shock,Happiness,Pride,Ecstasy,Disbelief,Joy,Excitement,Adrenaline all rushed through her body.
I have to make this seem normal though. I can't go around saying,"Hello!I know you must know me by Cinderpaw,but I am Cinderpelt sent back in time to fulfill a prophecy of the world and save your entire forest!Would you like to hunt with me?"
"Sorry Brackenpaw,I was just out of it from a nightmare I had last night."Cinderpaw mewed.
Brackenpaw's eyes glittered in amusement. "Oh please,don't tell me this is the fourth nightmare in a row where poor poor Fireheart was killed in a raid from the Clans!" Brackenpaw meowed mimicking the most sarcastically-horrified voice he could make.
Cinderpaw's jaw dropped and her fur flushed hotly. She stared at the floor. "Might I remind you Brackenpaw that you and Sorreltail have the most 'beautiful'-"
"Who's Sorreltail?" Brackenpaw mewed confused.
"'Who's Sorreltail?'! Bracken-..."Cinderpaw stopped herself.
Oh,right...
"Nobody,I was just imagining things."Cinderpaw meowed.
"You seem to be doing that a lot lately," Brackenpaw's eyes glowed mischeviously,"especially when Fireheart and your beloved 'kits' are involved!" Brackenpaw laughed.
Cinderpaw smiled and she crouched in a hunting position. She began to feel young again.
Brackenpaw stopped laughing and turned tail to flee.
"Oh no you don't Brackenpaw!" Cinderpaw chased after him. The view of Brackenpaw's hindquarters surprisingly got closer as she ran.
Huh?
Cinderpaw looked at her leg,as she was hoping to expect in was in-tact and not twisted.
Oh yeah!
A purr/growl came from her throat as she still chased Brackenpaw. Cinderpaw was getting closer...and closer...and closer...until finally,POUNCE!
Cinderpaw landed on Brackenpaw and since Brackenpaw flailed from the impact they rolled and tumbled.
When they stopped they broke out laughing.
Cinderpaw noticed it was raining,a thought came to mind.
How am I going to save the entire forest?

No,Sunstar said I was going to live a life as a warrior...didn't he?
Frostfur and Yellowfang ran into Bluestar's den. Cinderpaw watched as Yellowfang's dark gray long-haired tail disappeared behind the lichen leading into Bluestar's den.
Right. This is the day Bluestar loses a life to green cough.
Cinderpaw froze.
And the day the monster hit me because I was mistaken for Bluestar in Tigerstar's plot.
Cinderpaw shuddered so fiercely it was painful.
Wait! That means,TigerCLAW is still here! Plotting to kill us all!To think,it was Fireheart that was the one who knew of Tigerclaw's treacherous ways.
Fireheart...
Cinderpaw scanned the camp searching for the familiar flame-colored tom cat. She then spotted him. He was pacing back and forth angrily,until he rushed up to Yellowfang when she reappeared from Bluestar's den. The two cats began talking. Then Dustpaw came running into camp heading for Bluestar's den. However,Yellowfang and Fireheart stopped began arguing for a while. Cinderpaw didn't need to easedrop as she did last time,because she already remembered the exchange of words all three cats had at this time. Even though this has been the cause for Cinderpaw's demise,she couldn't resist the chance to impress Fireheart. Only this time she knew what to say,what to do,when to do it and where.
What a great advantage... Cinderpaw thought smuggly.
She strode in their conversation when Dustpaw was trotting away,muttering angrily. Her tail and head held high.
"Fireheart." Cinderpaw called.
Fireheart and Yellowfang turned to see her.
"Yes Cinderpaw,what is it?" Fireheart asked.
"I couldn't help but hear the crisis going on here." Cinderpaw started.
Yellowfang frowned,she opened her jaws to speak but Cinderpaw continued,guessing already perhaps she was going to say some remark about age and rank regarding to Cinderpaw.
"Fireheart,apprentice to mentor,may I join you on your way to get the catnip and deliver the message to Bluestar?" Cinderpaw asked.
Firehart lowered his ears and looked as if he were about to protest. Perhaps going to state the danger levels.
"Please! Two jaws holding catnip is better than one,and two cats journeying is more reassuring of safety than wouldn't be safe alone if say rogues or loners decided to attack,"Cinderpaw mewed silently referring to the attack from Brokenstar and his pack of rogues,which nobody would have remembered or course,"I'd be of great help." Cinderpaw pleaded.
Surprisingly,Fireheart AND Yellowfang seemed convinced. Fireheart sighed,but Cinderpaw could tell in his smile that he was proud and delighted by his apprentice's logic,loyalty and leniance in speak nonetheless.
"Alright,Cinderpaw you can come with me." Fireheart purred.
Cinderpaw smiled. "Thank you Fireheart."
Cinderpaw walked past him and towards the entrace. She stopped and turned her head around gracefuly and swished her tail.
"Are you coming?" Cinderpelt asked playfully.
Firheart chuckled and Yellowfang shook her head with a smile. Firheart padded up to her. Cinderpelt shuddered pleasurably. Fireheart was in full view,the rain plastering his fur to his body showing every detail of his muscles as the rippled under his coat. His eyes glowing a bright grren that was slowly taking over Cinderpaw mind.
Fireheart came up to her side and gazed to her. He gave a small nod and ran,though he was looking back and smiling.
Cinderpaw had already discovered she was pretty fast.
Cinderpaw chased after Fireheart. His laugh was distant but then was becoming louder as she neared him. It wasn't long before she was hard on his heels. It was a semi-perfect scene: The rain hit the ground it made a PITTER-PATTER sound against the trunks of the trees. The soil was wet beneathe their paws. The smell of grass rose in the air as the two cats kicked it up on their way to Twolegplace.
Cinderpaw laughed. She gave a final burst of speed,which caused her to pass up Fireheart swiftly. Cinderpaw saw the look of shock and pride written on Fireheart's face as he slowed down.
"You run really fast Cinderpaw!" Fireheart meowed between pants.
"Thanks Fireheart but I must admit,you run very fast too Rabbitfoot!" Cinderpaw teased.
Fireheart cuffed Cinderpaw around the ears playfully.
"Well maybe together you and me,we Rabbitfoot and Lightningstrike!We will rule the entire forst and run around the world together!" Fireheart meowed loudly enough for all of Star Clan to hear,imitating the best insane-leader-like voice Cinderpaw ever heard.
Cinderpaw's ears grew hot but to cover her emotion she began to laugh.
Fireheart shook the rain from his fur,shortly after,Cinderpaw did the same.
"We whould head on,Twolegplace isn't far."Fireheart meowed.
Cinderpaw nodded and trotted to Fireheart's side as they neared Twolegplace.
Catnip filled Cinderpelt's jaws,she was careful not to bite into it wasting the juices. It's scent however was so inticing,but Cinderpaw remained professional. In front of Fireheart that is. Suddenly,Fireheart set down the catnip.
"I can hear the Thunderpath from here." Something shown in Fireheart's eyes that caused him to hesitate. Fear perhaps?
"We have to deliver the message to Tigerclaw. Dustpaw said he wanted to speak about some prey remains left by ShadowClan on our side of the territory." Fireheart mewed.
"So he's waiting on our side of the territory from the Thudnerpath." Cinderpaw meowed. It was more of a question than a statement.
"Yes." Fireheart replied. "He should." Fireheart muttered low, but enough for Cnderpaw to catch it.
Cinderpaw knew Fireheart too well enough not to catch the feeling of fear and reluctancy coming off him.
Fireheart has a right to feel that way.
Fireheart turned to Cinderpaw.
"Let's go."
The both came out into clear view. The trees no longer hiding them. The Thunderpath had a little more mosters running along it than usual.
As I was expecting...just like last time.
Fireheart looked from side to side. As Cinderpaw was exoecting it was foggy.
Fireheart heaved a long sigh.
"Tigerclaw is probably on the other side,I can't see anything. I'll check. Cinderpaw stay there." Fireheart meowed,trying to hide the anxiety in his voice.
Fireheart began on the Thunderpath.
Then the light from a monster's eyes lit up the Thunderpath...and Fireheart...
"NO!"
