Coruscant: Destroyed Apartment Room

Wolverine jumped back rapidly as Starkiller attempted to cut him in half. He flipped around and slashed the dead force-user's face, but the wound healed almost instantly. He then tried another approach, raising his claws high above his head, he brought them down on Starkiller, but it was parried by his blue lightsaber. Starkiller then used his other saber to attempt to slice Wolverine in half again. The saber connected, but stopped when it hit his adamantium spine.

"What the?" Starkiller exclaimed.

"Adamantium." Wolverine said, grunting as he pushed the saber out of him. "Unbreakable."

Starkiller jumped back, and Wolverine fell to his knees, grunting. Although the adamantium was immune to the cutting effects of lightsabers, his flesh was not. The cauterizing effect had also blocked his healing factor!

"Damn..." He grunted between rasps, holding his opened side.

Starkiller noticed the feral mutant's moment of weakness and took advantage of it. He ran full speed at Wolverine, sabers flaring. Wolverine raised his claws just in time to block the blows. Suddenly, he was thrown backwards by an invisible hand. Starkiller used the Force again to grab him by the neck, and choke. Wolverine's air was being cut off, and his lungs began siezing!

Wolverine's entire life seemed to flash in front of him for an hour, as he relived all his past mistakes, victories, and loves. He began closing his eyes, about to accept defeat. But just before he slipped into death, he heard a voice.

"Friend, Logan!" It bellowed, full of righteous intent. "I shall rescue thee!"

He managed to see Mjolnir strike the head of Starkiller, breaking his neck and leaving it in an awkward position. Wolverine dropped to the ground, gasping as pain overwhelmed him again. Thor flew in at super speed and picked up Starkiller, who dropped both his sabers, and took him into the skies of the planet-wide city. Wolverine watched as thunder and lightning began to fill the sky. He smiled, knowing if anyone could beat that undead monster, it was the God of Thunder himself.

Starkiller snapped his neck back into place with a loud crack, and pushed Thor away with the Force. Thor recovered quickly, sending lightning hurtling towards him. Starkiller sent a burst of his own force lightning to block the bolt. Concentrating on the Force to levitate himself in the air, Starkiller attempted to pull Thor to him. The Thunder God was pulled in like a ragdoll, and punched in the face, knocking off his helmet. As he flipped almost helplessly in the air after the blow, Thor saw a TIE Fighter fly towards him. It hit him head-on and exploded in a brilliant ball of gaseous fire. Starkiller knew it wasn't over, however. Thor confirmed this by throwing the wing of the destroyed TIE at him. He easily dodged the attack, and pushed Thor into a building with the Force. The building just about toppled from the force of the impact!

"Never in my wildest fights in all of Asgard have I faced a foe as powerful as this..." He mumbled.

Suddenly, Beast's voice came over the radio in his costume. "Thor?"

Thor was surprised for a moment, and answered, "Beast? Are you well, friend?"

"No, Cho is dead, and we've lost many more in the chaos." Beast's static filled voice came back. "I'm trying to find the Professor. Perhaps he can remedy our current situation."

"Aye, Beast." Thor said. "You find your teacher, and I shall test my limits against this evil foe!"

And with that, Thor flew back into combat with Starkiller.

Coruscant: Walkways

Beast flipped over fighting enemies, and dead bodies, along with rubble and debris scattered all over as lasers and starships filled the skies. Spider-man and Morbius followed close behind him, avoiding crossfire as much as possible. A damaged X-wing fighter barrel roled right above the group, deafening them with the roar of it's engines. The three heroes held their ears as a small trickle of blood emminated from them.

"Argh! We have...to find Professor X! Agh!" Beast grunted, his head throbbing with pain.

Spider-man webbed up some ear plugs for each of them to keep any further problems from happening, and they continued on.

"They're not the most comfortable," He said. "but they're effective."

As they finished crossing one of the long walkways, they saw a battalion of Stormtroopers and a rancor baby. The troops were unsure if the heroes were beasts or Republic soldiers. They didn't waste time doing the same. Beast knocked two of their heads together, shattering the plasteel helmets. Spider-man webbed up three of them, and tossed them into the rancor, which flew off the balcony and into the dark undercity, echoing with the troopers screams. Morbius had just finished sucking the blood from one of them, and they continued on.

As they neared where Beast thought the Professor would be, things started to quiet down, and the three of them removed their makeshift earplugs. Professor X stood on a landing platform, sniffing a wilting flower. Several sleeping Stormtroopers and monsters lay around him, and many more were doing involuntary actions such as dancing and acting like monkeys.

"Professor!" Beast exclaimed.

Professor X looked at his former student and said, "I know already, Beast. I felt them as they died."

"Professor, we are fighting a losing battle!" Beast cried.

"And I'm almost out of webbing again." Spider-man said.

There was an awkward silence for a moment before an explosion rocketed the landing platform. It began to fall, and the four heroes held on for dear life. The platform abruptly stopped, though, and Professer X reached out with his mind.

"Ah," He said, smiling. "Thank you, Thor."

"Aye..." He said, straining under the weight of the heavy object before setting it down slowly.

"What about that weird guy you were fighting earlier?" Spider-man asked.

"He is chasing me as we speak. I cannot defeat him by my own power. He is much too strong." hor gasped.

"I can feel him now." Professor X said, looking worried.

"We should go!" Morbius exclaimed.

"Nay." Thor strained again. "No creature can escape this one. He is a hunter. He mus be faced."

"Then we may die here?" Professor X asked, already knowing.

"Aye." Thor said.

Spider-man looked at the ground, trying to hold it together.

"'Twas an honor to be your friend, men." Thor said as the form of Starkiller zoomed towards them, ready to kill.
