Coruscant: Destroyed Landing Pad
Starkiller landed rather loudly in front of the five heroes. He ignited his recovered blue sabers again and charged them. Thor reacted first. Holding his hammer out, he shot a beam of lightning at the zombified force wielder, but it was merely reflected off his lightsabers. Spider-man followed up quickly, webbing up Starkiller's feet, then leaping forward for a kick. His spider sense twinged, however, and he quickly reversed this course of action. As Starkiller swung at the air where Spidey was a second ago, Morbius tackled him hard. Breaking the webbing, and Starkiller's ankles with a loud snap, the Living Vampire sunk his fangs into the downed zombie.
"You can accomplish nothing, vampire!" Starkiller yelled.
Morbius was then thrown back as an invisible hand reached out from Starkiller. Spider-man hopped back on the dead former apprentice's head, punching him with his lightning quick fist. He too was thrown back by a well timed Force Push. Starkiller attempted to get up, but fell on his knees instantly, as his ankles were busted.
The heroes surrounded the downed undead warrior. Professor X walked in front, and attempted to shut-down Starkiller's brain. He screamed in agony, and jerked wildly.
"AGH! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Starkiller cried out.
He was not supposed to be able to feel pain, but mental attack was different then physical. He felt like his brain was exploding.
Thor suddenly furrowed his brow. He had felt a great energy whelling up on Starkiller's location. Professor X seemed to notice as well.
"Get back!" He yelled, diving away from him.
The others quickly got down as Starkiller, with a huge roar, let loose a Force Malestrom that emminated outwords, shaking the very plent itself.
Thor was absolutely astounded at the magnitude of this attack. Spider-man had to web himself to the pad. But as he was pulling himself back through the Malestrom bubble, a piece of scrap metal flew up and cut the web line.
"Peter!" Beast cried out, witnessing this.
Spider-man didn't even have time to scream as he was thrown back at blinding speed into a building. As the Malestrom ended, he slumped, and fell into the abyss of the lower city.
Thor had seen enough. Another of his friends had just bit the dust, and anger swirled inside him like the storm clouds raging above.
"YOU DARE TO CHALLENGE MY PATIENCE, VILE ONE!" Thor bellowed, his regal voice echoeing through the air.
Starkiller, now back on his feet, raised his sabers in challenge to the thunder god.
Dantooine: Jedi Enclave
Doom and Luke walked back into the Enclave, laughing as they joked. Doom was now a full fledged Jedi, and was very proud of it himself. He looked over into the courtyard and saw Force Susan standing there waiting for him.
"I told you." Luke said, patting him on the back.
Luke walked to his quarters and left the two alone.
"I'm...sorry. About earlier." Doom said.
"I am also sorry, Victor." She said softly. "It is just I have never felt emotion before. This body...it has let me experience it. It is purity..."
Doom took her hand in his. "Emotion is absolutely purity. It is what I am. It is what you are. It is what love is..."
Force Susan looked down at the mention of the word. She did not turn away from it though. Doom could tell that this Force entity was now trying to realize it's sentience.
"I will always be there for you, when you are unsure, or lost, or anything." He told her, pulling her closer.
"I know." She told him. "I lo-"
Before she could utter the word, she suddenly collapsed. Doom caught her as she fell rapidly limp.
"Susan? SUSAN!" Doom cried out.
He shook her, but she remained unresponsive.
Luke ran back out to see the commotion. "Doom?"
"Luke! Luke, help me! She collapsed. What's wrong with her?"
Luke put his hand on Force Susan's forhead, and searched through the Force. He was suddenly electrified with images of the dead walking, and the Force being contorted by corruption on a grand scale. Cosmic energy swirling within the calm pool of peace, stirring up the tranquility of the universe into a boiling lava pit of chaos.
He snapped back to reality, and sat down hard, breathing heavily.
"What did you see?" Doom asked.
Luke's eyes seemed to bulge. "I saw the end. The Force is being contorted and twisted by an outside influence..."
"Outside influence?" Doom asked. "What do you mean?"
"I'm not sure..." He said. "But whatever is happening, it's on a cataclysmic scale. We have to go to Coruscant to correct this problem."
"Then so be it!" Doom said, craddling his lover's seemingly lifeless form. "So..be...it."
