Author's Note: It is I! Returned from the world of algebra, summer camps and the periodic table! I am back on this story, and will try not to desert you again. at least, not for to long this time. or intentionally.

I do not own House of Anubis. Otherwise, we'd be having a season 4 already.

Nina got off the train, and took a deep breath of the country air. She was back. Why she still was not entirely sure. Eddie's message had simply said that she was needed. Badly.

She hailed a cab and gave them the directions. She had the driver drop her off at the gate of the school grounds. Grabbing her bags she began walking up the way. She noticed the nearby gatehouse. It had yet to play any part in there adventures, and had mostly been ignored by the school for a while. For some reason however Eddie had asked to meet her there.

She came up around the back of the gatehouse. She saw KT, Eddie, and Alfie crouched behind the hedge, eyes toward the gatehouse.

"Eddie?" Nina asked. The three of them jumped.

"Nina!" Eddie cried happily, and he pulled her down with them.

"Hey!" she cried. "What's the idea?"

"Um, you probably don't want anyone seeing you. Team Evil is kind of having a conference meeting in the gatehouse," Eddie explained.

"Who's Team Evil? And why did you call me here? I told you what Sarah said. Terrible things..."

"Are kind of already happening," Eddie interrupted. "I don't think it can get much worse. I was close to asking Amber to come too."

"Amber? Eddie, what's going on?"

So Eddie explained as quickly as possible.

"Okay, Frobisher's awake, but he's evil. He has the help of a woman named Denby who's an evil nut. Ms Denby has this sister who is kind of a nut too, but she's not evil. Frobisher is working for the evil goddess Ammut and is trying to collect the souls of sinners. So far he has Victor, Mr. Sweet, Patricia, and..."

There was a noise from the gatehouse and they all ducked down as the door opened. Nina and Eddie peeked over the top of hedge and saw a figure leave the gatehouse, headed for the school.

"Oh no," Nina said, and she shook her head. "It can't be. He couldn't have..."

Nina trailed off as she watched Fabian leave the meeting of Team Evil. Eddie looked at her sadly.

"That's why we need your help," he said. "We've lost Fabian, and I don't know what to do. We need you Nina." He reached into his pocket and pulled out Nina's locket. He held it out to her. "Sibuna needs you."

After a moment, Nina took the locket from Eddie, and slipped it over head.

"Alright," she said. "Let's do this."

They couldn't exactly trumpet into the house, shouting, "Nina's back!" even if they all wanted to, so they slipped in through the back door, into the kitchen, and down into the cellar. Once there, they retreated into Frobisher's study. The group stood, and waited for Nina to speak. Nina looked around the study, remembering all that had happened last term, how Fabian had stood by her, even with all the Joy-drama going on.

"Nina?" Eddie asked at last. Nina took a deep breath and turned back to the group.

"So, we need to rescue Patricia and Fabian," she began.

"And let's not forget my dad," Eddie reminded her.

"So... what do you guys know so far?"

So, while Nina patiently listened, the remaining Sibunas filled her in on what they knew about the ceremony, Frobisher, Denby, and Ammut. When they reached the part about the artifact, Nina just burst out laughing, and doubled over, tears streaming down her cheeks. The Sibunas exchanged looks, and waited for Nina to calm down again.

"I'm sorry," Nina gasped, wiping the tears away from her eyes. " It's just, that's how Sibuna started, with a search for artifacts. It seems fitting to do it again."

Alfie nodded solemnly. Eddie opened his mouth to speak, when there was a sound in the cellar. The Sibunas quieted, and Eddie peeked through the hole in the door. Fabian and Patricia walked around the coroner, headed straight for the secret room.

"Quick! they're coming here," Eddie warned everyone. Grabbing amulets from the desk drawer, and the four Sibunas raced into the tunnel behind the bookshelf. Silently, hearts pounding, they listened to the conversation on the other side.

"What are we doing down here?" they heard a bored sounding Patricia ask.

"Getting some these," Fabian answered, followed by the sound of books thumping on something and papers shuffling.

"What are w going to do with those," Patricia demanded. "We're supposed to be after the last sinner remember?"

"You'll see," Fabian assured her. Then there was the grinding of the door, and after that, silence. Cautiously, the Sibunas re-entered the secret room. Nina tried to stop herself from shaking, but couldn't. She gave up and collapsed onto the couch, the other Sibunas stood around her, unsure of what to do next. Only Eddie seemed to have some idea.

"I know Nina," Eddie said, causing her to look up at him. "He's a stranger to all of us now, and so is Patricia, but we have to concentrate! There must be a way to save them. there has to be!"

"You're right Eddie," Nina said, forcing the tremor to stay out of her voice. "You said Ms. Denby had a sister, do you think she can help us?"

"I'm almost sure of it," Eddie answered. Nina took a deep breath and stood.

"Alright then," she said, heading for the door. "Let's go save Sibuna."

"And don't forget the rest of the world!' Alfie chimed in, following the others out. "i would like to see my Mum and Dad again, you know."

End Note: I have plans for the next chapter, so never fear! It shall include a full scene between Nina, KT, and Eddie, and hold the explanation as to how Nina recognized KT when she arrived.
