Staring at all the chaos of the remains of the battle, nobody was sure what to do.
Monsters still attacking everywhere. Cinders and embers flying in the air around them. Percy was surprised they'd actually made it that far. But it wasn't over yet.
Annabeth was crying over Luke's dead body on the ground. And.. in the distance there.. was that Nico?
So many dead. Silena. Ethan. Lily. Monica. Gregory. All of them so brave. They didn't deserve to die.
But all the survivors could do was move on, because they had to.
Sheesh, it's horrible for a return update! I didn't really want to write about the war again, but I had to make it sad because the music was making me cry - the episode it's from is sooo saaad. And yes, the last sentence is kind of about the Doctor too, so shush.
