Time-travelers
Chapter 13
When Hilbert was sure he lost them, he stopped running and took a deep breath. His Exploud stopped right behind him, panting hard. "Thanks. Return." Hilbert managed to thank his Pokemon and return him back into the ball. Hilbert looked around, trying to locate where he was but had no idea. He'd never came this far into the forest. He could fly up and take a look but it would grab Phantom's attention as well. Anyway the idea he got while looking at Phantom was stupid. But he had to find Dawn as soon as possible. He took out a Pokeball and threw it up and released his Gengar. "Gengar look for Paul and Dawn." He said. The Shadow Pokemon nodded and dissolved into shadows.
Dawn looked around the forest looking for the purple haired man, not the boy next to him. They searched without a word but soon had to talk for there was Hilbert right in front of them. "Guys!" Hilbert cried out, but not too loudly, and ran toward them. "What are you doing here?" Paul asked. "I saw Phantom and followed him in. Unfortunately he noticed me and we had to battle. But I escaped." He explained to Paul and turned to face Dawn in the most serious look he ever had. "Dawn, I think Phantom and Paul are related." Dawn raised her eyebrow. "What? How?" She asked.
"Well, you said time traveling is possible in the future so I'm just saying that they may be related." Hilbert said. To Paul it sounded like a nonsense but to Dawn it made all sense to her.
Dawn looked at the man. He was in kimono like outfit and had long purple hair. It reminded her of the Calab brothers (Paul and Reggie) and she would've thought the man as Reggie if the man's ponytail didn't reach his waist. "Who are you?" Dawn asked. "Who are you trying to harm?" The man asked, completely ignoring Dawn's question. The Tyranitar and Gengar next to her glared at her, demanding the answer. "Bellistone sent you here." Dawn said and threw Pokeball up in the air which released Zoroark. The man didn't answer. "Don't harm them." He demanded. "Bellistone? I will so don't bother to stop me." Dawn said. "Not him." The man said. "Then who?" Dawn asked back, the man didn't answer and looked at her sadly. Dawn saw someone she recognized, the man's image was overlapped with someone she knew. Before she could think over it, the Gengar jumped and fired Shadow Ball.
Now that Hilbert said it, she knew exactly who she saw in Phantom's eyes. Paul's anger and Reggie's sadness. "Paul, I think Hilbert is right. Dawn said and Paul looked at her if she was crazy. "Told ya so." Hilbert said. "But how?" Paul asked her. "I don't know but he could be your or Reggie's great-great-great grandson or something." Dawn said as she shrugged. Soon they heard a rustling in the bush and turned around. May, Hilda and Drew were there.
"Hilbert! I was worried." Hilda said running toward him. She could've almost hugged him but she stopped herself before that happened, so much for Hilbert's luck. "Guys, Hilbert here just found out something that is very important." Dawn announced. Hilda raised an eyebrow, "He did?" Hilbert nodded proudly. "Yes. There's a theory, which I think is true, that Phantom might be related to Paul or his brother." The three blinked, Drew and May burst into laughter. "Good one Dawn, I don't think that's true though." Drew said wiping out his fake tears.
"Guys, shut up! We might be heard-" "Oh you are." Said a creepy voice. The laughter stopped immediately and they all turned to the voice. The man, with remains of black hair over his bald head, had an eye patch over his right eye, black shirt and pants along with cape which was red underneath and black on the back. He looked creepier than Dawn had imagined. Phantom was right behind him. "Bellistone Among." Dawn gasped. The man smiled devilishly.
"Jupiter, help me get rid of them." Bellistone said and Phantom frowned. "Phantom. It's Phantom." Phantom growled at his master (?). "Who are you?" Paul took a step forward and looked up at Phantom. Phantom looked down at him, this time the anger had disappeared from his eyes completely. The only thing that was left was his sadness. "I am your brother's descendent." Phantom told Paul. Paul tried not to look surprised or shocked as possible. "This man told me that your family was in danger-" "Lies." Paul interrupted.
Bellistone took a step back. "My brother and I are completely safe. You have fallen for trap, Phantom." Paul said. There were no emotion changes in Phantom's eyes. "Doesn't matter." Phantom said as his Pokemons appeared behind him. "I am Jupiter Gift. And I've already sworn to help Bellistone." He said, with a ghostly voice. Bellistone smirked.
Dawn took out her Pokeball, and so did the rest of them. Each released one of their Pokemons and prepared for a battle. "Oh, not in here. It's too small to battle. Besides, we've only got one audience." Bellistone said. "Audience?" May asked, confused. Phantom nodded and Tyranitar pulled a cage which was hidden behind the trees. Inside, there was Ivy von Viette, tied up and hands tied. "Mmmmff!" Vee seemed to be trying to scream but it was just a muffle of desperation. "Ivy!" Paul looked horrified at the sight.
"Tomorrow at the base. Phantom will guide you there, until then, I will have a fun with her." Bellistone said with maniacal smile. "NO!" Paul lunged toward the man, rage filling him, but everything disappeared. "Illusion. Created by Zoroark." Dawn said as she frowned. Paul turned to face his friends, he looked like he was out of his mind, "We have to help her!" Paul said. "Yeah, but that was just an illusion. What if it's not true?" Drew said and Paul looked like he wanted to strangle him.
Hilbert called Reggie and concluded that the vision they were giving was real. Ivy was missing and Paul's cousin Raphael was about to lose his mind. "We will take more 'audience' then." Dawn said when they arrived at the girls' apartment. "What?" Paul asked. "We will need full force. Not just us, but with Reggie, he may be able to convince Phantom and Raphael as well. He will save Ivy. Besides them we will need more." Dawn told her friends. So for the rest of the day they spent all of their time calling for their friends, gathering the team.
Around 10 p.m. Dawn walked into the bedroom and dug into her bag. She pulled out the Pokeball and smiled at it. "I will need your help Tonbo. I will need Taru's help as well." She said with a sad smile and put it in her pocket. She stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. She pulled out the necklace, bracelet, the ring, and the headphone from her bag and put them on. "I need your help." She said to the hallucination of the black haired boy whom she could clearly see. The image nodded.
Sorry for short chapter…. I really am…
