Time-travelers

Chapter 14

As Dawn came out from the bedroom Paul glanced at her. She was wearing something that he had never seen. A necklace, bracelet, a headphone…. Wow. Where did she even get all of that? Dawn sat next to him. Paul shifted uncomfortably and tried not to look at her. "Dawn, what did you bring?" May asked looking at the Ball she was holding. Paul could see that it wasn't an ordinary normal Pokeball that most of the people used. It was an Ultra Ball. "I'm going to bring Tonbo." Dawn said as she caressed the ball.

"What's Tonbo?" Drew whispered to May. "It's who. Not what. Anyway, Dawn's good luck Pokemon." May whispered back. Drew raised his eyebrow as if he couldn't understand it. "What?" Drew said. "It's a reminder of a friend I had." Dawn explained, looking down at the ball and touching it with tip of her finger. "A very old friend." Hilda said with an expression that wasn't very positive. "A Pokemon?" Hilbert asked full of curiosity and tried to reach for the ball, only to get back of his hand slapped by Hilda. "I don't even know how you control that beast." May told Dawn. "He never listened to either me or Hilda. Only you can." May said. "I don't want to explain it here." Dawn said with a deep frown.

"Then should we go somewhere else?" Hilbert asked. Both Dawn and Hilda growled at him while May laughed. "What? She said she won't speak about it here." Hilbert protested but got ignored completely. "Anyway I'm calling Ash. Anyone else going to volunteer to call someone?" Paul asked. Drew took out his phone and called someone. Dawn called Zoey while the rest just kept thinking about who to call.

The all fell asleep in the living room, the lights still on. Dawn woke up during that and looked around. Noticing that rest of them had fallen asleep she sighed and put her jacket on and walked up to the balcony. She tapped the Ultra Ball and released Tonbo in the air, he came out, crying out and flapping his wings. "Tonbo, this is the last time I will need your help. I think I will keep Taru as the memory." Dawn said sadly and Tonbo whimpered sadly. "So I will let you choose whatever the path you want after this. Okay?" Tonbo nodded and Dawn returned him into the ball. She held it by her heart and swallowed the tears.

The next morning, the only person who wasn't sleeping in the living room was Dawn, who was in the bedroom, sleeping comfortably in the bed. May and Hilda woke up and didn't find her there and when they found her in the bedroom they gave her 'friendly' punches for leaving the others alone in the cold living room while she slept cozy and all in the bed. "Alright, stop hitting me, I'm sorry!" Dawn said, laughing. May sighed and Hilda humphed. "And I am guessing that I am going to get paid for it." Dawn said, looking down, still sitting on the bed. "Right. You will do the dish washing for 3 days." Hilda said. "Yes! I was the patrol this week!" May said so cheerfully that Hilda almost had an urge to cancel what she had just said.

The boys woke up later when Hilda was preparing the breakfast which felt like the last supper rather than a normal breakfast. They were all gloomy and Dawn could hardly swallow them but Hilda said anyone who leaves a food will have to pay 10 bucks so they all had to shove the food into their mouth. "I'm full. And I think I will go pick up the guys." Paul said as he stood up, he was the first one to eat all of them. "Why did you make so many?" May complained. Even though she eats a lot, it was too much for even her. "Because you will need all of the strength we need to fight and stay there for the rest of the day without a lot of food." Hilda answered. "I'm pretty sure it will all get digested in this morning." May grumbled as she finished and gulped down the water from her glass.

When they were done they headed to the forest. Feeling nervous, anxious, and dizzy a little. "Is anyone else than us here?" Paul asked. "Your brother's here." Drew said, pointing at the ponytailed man standing in the entrance of the forest. "Well, someone I needed the most is here." Paul said sarcastically and walked up to his brother to explain the whole thing. Reggie's expression was rather hard to read. Shocked? Confused? Don't know. But he remained calm, to Dawn's surprise. Reggie turned to face the rest of them and nodded. "I wish what you are saying is a lie, but I may think that this Phantom guy is related to me…." Reggie sighed and agreed to help.

Next to show up were Ash, Zoey, and Misty. Kenny couldn't show up since he had to go visit his grandmother. Well it would be weird if they believe it right away. But Ash did, not so surprising. "Really? Future? Wow! That's soooo cool! I wanna go there too! What does it look like? How is it?" "Ash!" Drew had to shut him up. "I will explain that to you later." May said with a giggle, Drew scowled. Zoey and Misty didn't believe them at first but after all of them (not counting Reggie) explained and Hilda showing them the picture of the future Violet City, the girls decided to believe them and help.

"As the Gym Leader of Cerulean City, I will help you guys." Misty said. Hilda thanked her politely. "Me too. After all, Dawn is my friend." Zoey said as she smiled at the blunette. "Thanks Zoey. I owe you a big one." "We owe them a big one." May corrected.

Short chapter, sorry for that. Next one is the last chapter, I think. So it will be like really long. And I am planning for a story, both AU and Gijinkas.

One is about school and one is about Mystery Dungeon. Tell me what you are interested in the most.

Also I have a poll running.
