A.N. Wow, 6 months since my last update. I'm sorry it's been such a long time since I posted a story, that's mostly due to lack of creativity on my part, but seeing this request got my gears turning.

Requested by Ophelia Lokisdottir: What would happen if Tony and Clint convinced the rest of the Avengers to go to a theme park, then the two get drunk and wreak havoc like they usually do?

I haven't finished it yet. I wanted to wait until I did finish it before posting since it's so short, but I felt obligated to post something after so long. This is more of the convincing part with the havoc part coming up later. Hope you like it!

The Vow

"Come on!" Tony protested to the group. "Why can't we go to Coney Island?"

They all turned to face the dispirited billionaire with a Do we really have to tell you? face. But since Tony is Tony, they realized they did in fact have to tell him.

"I promise I won't drink!" he pleaded in one last desperate attempt to tug on their heart strings.

Natasha chose to be the bearer of bad news. To say that she would enjoy crushing his spirits would be an understatement. But being the professional she was, she wouldn't allow any emotion show other than sternness and strictness, and perhaps a pinch of anger. "Do you really think after that stunt you pulled with my birthday candles that we're going to believe anything you say to us?"

Stark froze in his tracks. He had forgotten about that incident and figured that the others did too. "Then see? That's even more reason for me to go there. I should at least ride the rides there one time before you kill me."

"Go where before Natasha kills you?" Clint asked, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

"Where'd you come from?" Tony asked, glancing around the room.

"The stairs," Clint responded wiping his brow.

"We have stairs?" Tony blinked confused.

"Uh, yeah. Right next to the elevator." Clint pointed.

Stark glanced back and did a double-take. "I literally never noticed those until now."

Steve tried to steer things back on track. "To answer your question Clint, Tony's trying to convince us of talking him to Coney Island – "

Clint's face lit up. "Coney Island? Let me change and I'll be right there!"

"No Clint, wait - !" Steve tried but Clint was already gone.

Tony grinned, sensing an opportunity. The group sighed; they knew what was coming next.

Tony put on his best puppy dog face. "Pwease take me to Coney Island now? You wouldn't want to disappoint Cwint would wou?"

Just as Natasha was about to answer that Clint came out looking like he was ready to go to the beach rather than an amusement park.

"Yo Baywatch, what's with that get-up? You are aware we're going to ride rides, not waves, right?"

"You are aware Coney Island is right next to the beach right?" Clint retorted. "In fact, it's practically right on the beach itself."

Tony made a mental note of that fact. "Shut up."

"I suppose a day at the park would be fun," Steve conceded.

Thor nodded as well. "A day at one of your Midgardian festivals sounds like it would be entertaining."

After some internal debating the pros and cons of the idea, everyone agreed that as long as they kept an eye on Tony, it should be okay. Everybody that is except for one certain red-headed super spy.

She sighed. "Fine," Natasha relented. "But you are not to touch one drop of beer or scotch or so help me Stark…" She let the sentence trail off so the implications of what she would do to him would seem endless.

Stark nodded fearfully, but there was still a look in his eye that said he might try and do something stupid.

And you notice how long ago I started this because of the exploding candles reference I made. Which means this story takes place between chapters 45 and 46 of her story. So think of my mine as Chapter 45.5. ;)
