Author's Note:
So I know I've been absent for a while again and there's no excuse for it but pur laziness... I know I'm a terrible person :'( Anyway thank you for all the reviews guys. I do read them all even if I'm not posting a new chapter. I guess I left Chapter 9 in a quite difficult place because when it came to writing this chapter I didn't know where to start at all :P Anyway here it is chapter 10 :)

Disclaimer: I only own a few things and My Candy Love unfortunately isn't one of them...

Review please. It does motivate me a lot.

Few days had passed since mine and Castiel's little ride and things had been quite normal. Apart from the few Peggy interviews life had gotten quite normal and everything had died down so I had time to relax.

The weather was getting worse and worse by the day and like any other person I started to cover up more, dressing in cuddly sweaters. Probably for the first time since we moved here I started using my car. It still smelled brand new.

The principal told the 3 runners-up about the prizes which we got. Mine was to go off for a week of training with a famous choreographer and the chance to dance as a back up for a celebrity. I was pretty excited, even though I had to wait until the summer holidays to receive it.

It was a pretty normal day, nothing out of the ordinary when I woke up and completed the same routine that I did every morning. Wake up. Shower. Dress. Make-up. Breakfast. School. That was it and then the day began again. Only today when I reached school I was greeted by a very distressed principal. I half listened to her as she rambled on about some missing exam papers and I think she must have realised since she started talking louder and louder and then practically shouted at me about joining a club immediately.

My first thought was to tell her to piss off but I didn't think that would go down too well with her so I just nodded. I would have loved to join the music club but she only gave me two choices; it was either basketball or gardening. Now don't get me wrong I am a girl who likes the fresh air and gardens but gardening requires a lot of knowledge and time, therefore basketball it was.

There was nothing special today. I hung out with the girls at lunch and we talked about nothing in particular. Just chit-chat about the previous weeks. My lessons were very boring (which was nothing new) and dragged on loads. I managed to text my sister in between classes telling her that I will be late home because I'm staying for basketball. She wouldn't care either way, nowadays her time was filled with spending time with Nathaniel and his family. Apparently they were very strict and snobby but they liked and approved of her so they got off Nathaniel's back slightly.

Before I knew it, it was the end of the day. I went into my car trunk and got out my gym kit. I'm always ready because I like to chill out at the gym when I'm stressed. It wasn't much: grey Venice beach hot pants, cropped sweatshirt and grey converse. I got changed in the girls changing room and walked out to the court half expecting nobody to be there.

I was so wrong. On the bleachers were the plastics themselves, they weren't changed so I guessed that they wouldn't be playing. The court was filled with students, some of them I didn't even know. I saw Alexy and Armin and instantly ran up to them. They just looked me up and down and the Alexy's eyes widened.

"Daamn girl. I'm gay and I think you look fab. Imagine what the guys must be thinking." I blushed at his compliment then a tall dark guy ran up to us.

"I'm Dajan. The team captain you must be the new team member."

"Yeah. It was compulsory. Anyway where are the rest of the girls?"

"Well there's the 3 at the bleachers but they never join in and then there's you. The rest is guys. We really don't get many girls wanting to do basketball."

"Can't imagine why..."

A few minutes later we started playing a game. Throughout the game I saw random guys staring at my ass. I just stopped and turned around to one of them.

"Do you mind?! It's very hard to try and play basketball when you've got someone staring at your ass constantly!" He became flustered and embarrassed only managing to mutter a sorry.

The game ended and our team won though I wasn't much help. I liked going to the gym and all but I was no good at basketball. I have terrible aim and definitely think I'm too short for the sport anyway. The rest of the game flew by quite nicely, without any interruptions of me shouting at people who I didn't even know.

After the game Dajan just laughed at me. "You may look nice in the outfit but you're also pretty crap at basket ball."

Yeah thanks like I didn't know.

A sudden thud interrupted our conversation. Then a familiar voice shouted out.

"Yeah I know I'm late..." I turned towards the sound of the voice and so did Dajan. To no surprise it was Castiel. Actually I was a little surprised that he chose basketball instead of music.

And a little happy.
No I wasn't.
Yes you were.
Shut up.

"Castiel you're not late any more. You've missed the practice. Don't worry nothing important apart from we have a new member." Dajan said and then stepped aside, revealing me to his watchful eyes.

I put my hand up. "Hi Charming."

His face showed his confusion but then the realisation hit him. "Didn't know Rapunzel could play basket ball." He smirked a little.

"I can't but that doesn't stop me from trying." I replied.

Dajan laughed and then left to talk to his other friends. I liked Dajan, he was fun and honest. Castiel was about to reply when Amber's screechy voice echoed through the hall.

"Cassy baby, you're finally here. I've been waiting for you!" She shouted as she ran over to us. Her eyes then shot me a death glare. "Why are you with that." She asked pointing at me.

"Lovely to see you again Amber." I replied sarcastically.

"Amber why don't you take your lackeys and just piss off." Castiel replied. Then as if to make Amber hate me even more, he came over to my side and put his arm around my shoulders. "I'm talking to her because she's my girlfriend." He said and I shot him a panicked/confused look. I was then that I saw him smirk and wink at me.

Castiel you are playing a dangerous game.

I thought to myself but couldn't help getting a warm feeling in my chest.

"You're lying! I know you are! My Cassy wouldn't ever, and I mean ever go out with someone like her." Amber shouted but you could see she was panicking. The truth was that for some reason Amber was madly in love Castiel. I kind of understood, he was clearly very good-looking.

You're Lying.
I am not!
You are.
How am I?
He's not just good-looking. He's smokin' hot!
I guess.
No you know!

After I had one of my arguments inside my head I decided that he was very hot. Another thing, most girls are drawn to the bad boys, I think it's the fact that girls like a challenge.

"Well I'm not yours for one and my name's not Cassy, it's Castiel."

"I don't care. I don't believe you! Prove it!" They were shouting over each other, well Amber was shouting whilst Castiel was laughing. That got me worrying. I knew Castiel well enough to know that he wasn't scared of a challenge and he was far too relaxed about this for my liking.

Suddenly I was pulled in and his lips connected with mine. His hands slid down to the small of my back and held me in place so I couldn't move. He knew I would try to push him away, that's why he did it. He stayed there for a few seconds and then let me go. I gave him a murderous look. I would kill him after Amber went.

"Fine! Pick her over me! She's not worth you, she doesn't deserve to have you. What has she got that I haven't?!You will regret this, both of you will!" She shouted and then started walking away.

I put my foot out in front of hers and she fell with a thud. Everyone turned to see her face first on the floor. She slowly got up and turned. She raised a hand to slap me but I grabbed it and twisted it back, she started screaming in pain.

"Pressure point. That's for Ken, he had to move schools because of you. Oh and it's also for me." I pressed the wound of her hand a bit harder and pushed her on the floor. I contemplated on kicking her in the belly but decided against it. I wouldn't hit her properly, not enough to give her a serious injury. I wasn't that violent. I then jumped over her and started walking away. When I was in the hallway I heard footsteps behind me.

"Nice work Rapunzel." I should have known it would be him. I was still angry with him so I halted and turned around. He caught up with me and stood there. I wanted to slap him so bad but I just couldn't. Something was stopping me. So I settled on shouting.

"What the hell! What was all that about Castiel!" I screamed at him.

"That was about getting Amber annoyed." He replied with a smirk. He was proud of himself.

"Well now she's going to hate me even more. It's not like I have enough of her constantly attacking me." He didn't even seem bothered about it.

"Hey you're the one that hit her not me."

"I didn't hit her." I replied angrily.

"Well you did whatever the hell you did back there." He carried on. "Plus I know you loved that little kiss." That really annoyed me, he was so sure of himself. It doesn't even matter that he was right.

After Castiel's comment I decided to just leave. He was going to win anyway. I walked back to my car slowly and just sat there for a while.

Castiel's a jerk.
A hot jerk.
What's the difference?!
You can't stay mad at hot jerks.
I hate you.
No you don't.
I do, you're weird.
You are talking to yourself, that's weird.
Just shut up.
It's kind of like Gollum...

I seriously had problems. A knock on the window reminded me I was still in my car. I looked to the side and saw Lysander standing there with a very familiar red-head behind him. I rolled down my windows.

"Hi Lys. What's up?" I asked. I liked Lysander, he was helpful and mysterious... basically the complete opposite of Castiel.

"Hi Scar. Would you mind giving us a ride home. You see someone-" He pointed behind him. "forgot where they left their car keys." He flashed me his charming smile.

"Sure but only because it's you who's asking." I smiled back.

Lysander and Castiel got into my lovely car and sat there in silence. It was a difference from Castiel's constant arguing with me and my choice of song. I had a feeling Lysander had something to do with this. I drove them home. well to Lysander's house and they got out. There wasn't even a snide comment from Castiel. I drove home slightly confused at the events.
