HI every one! And I'm back Happy late Thanksgiving! I'm not sure if I said that already but anyway here is part too. Sorry for the late up date but I was in a writers block well I am goin to write a Christmas special so yaaaay! Well Christmas chater better said. I will ty ot get it done by Christmas. If not by new years. So wait and see. For those who are still with me continue to do so. One blood curse well …..i'll work on it. Okay o enough abtout hat and here you go!
Chapter 13: Case 2: vision of a dream
Part 1: trapped within the mirror
The girl slash thing looked at him hungrily and then looked at Ren with the hungry look.
"What is it you want?" Yashiro said.
He moved towards Ren, trying to make it seem unsuspicious. Still the girl followed him with her eyes.
"Give me him." She said her voice sounding like an echo.
"What if I say no?" Yashiro said
"Hmmm, then I guess I'll have to eat both of you then." She said.
Yashiro took out a small knife form his pocket and looked at the wolf thing. There came a laugh form the wolf as it pounced on them. Yashiro cut his wrist and allowed the blood to fall to the ground. The wolf was hungry and crashed on something invisible. It looked at them and was angry.
"Ha, what puny shield! You know your power is weak here traitor." Said the wolf thingy
"Leave before he wakes up."
"As if he can do anything?" She said.
The shield turned black and covered them both. Yashiro sigh and looked around the shield. It would hold up for a while but how long. He looked at Ren and sigh it had been a long time since he had seen him. Now the question was why was he there? He looked at the vile and placed it close to his mouth. Ren drank it and began coughing hard.
Italy 1348: Ren
He looked around confused and then touched his head and sigh. He turned to the side and saw the person he least wanted to see. He looked he had grown up a bit since he had last saw him but he was still the same.
"Why are you here?"
"Not enough time for that now Ren. We have other issues." Yashiro said.
"Wakey Wakey." Called out a voice from somewhere.
"Where is Kyoko?" Ren asked.
Yashiro looked at the shield and sigh it was weakening. Ren graved his collar and looked him in the eye.
"Where is she?" he asked.
"She's safe" he said.
He pushed him a bit and sighs. He stood up and looked at him.
"For your own good she better be safe."
"Ren, I would ne….she's calling others." Yashiro said looking at the shield.
The wailing could be heard all over the town. Ren looked at Yashiro and sigh. He never expected to see him, in such a situation.
"So how do we get out of here?"
"Until the shield's where's out then we'll be able to escape."
"How long?... So what is that thing?" he asked.
Yashiro took a seat on the floor and sigh.
About half an hour more and that thing used to be a girl who lived in this place. She joined them" he said.
"What? They have reigned here as well?" he asked.
"Yes, it wasn't so long ago when they had taken full charge of this time as well. They aren't very nice people to get along with." He said.
"I can imagine. Half an hour that's all we have." He said sighing.
"Ren...about what happened I..."
"Not the time." he said
"But, Ren…..I suppose you won't hear me out then."
Ren looked at him for one second remembering then looked away.
Sanctuary
The head demon looked at the documents on its desk and sigh.
"It's hard to be the demon in charge." Said the demon.
"Um, boss sorry about this, but there seems to be ore paper work for you."
"More?" the demon asked.
The other small demon brought in crates of documents and the demon in charge fainted out of pure shock. The demon felt something cold on its head and looked around there seemed to be a small angel it was male with blond hair and green eyes. He sigh and he place the small pad into the water and took some off.
"Who are you?" the demon asked.
"No one. Are you feeling better?" he asked.
"A bit." Said the demon blushing
"You're fevers gone down so that's good. You need to rest"
"Oh, oh okay…..wait, who are you?" the demon asked.
"No one, no need to concern yourself with." Said the small angel.
Other small demons dressed in suit with guns and sunglasses came and stepped between the head demon and the angel. They pointed their small gun towards the angel which looked confused. The angel sighs and then tried to get close, but one of the demons fired a bullet at the ground and smiled.
"Wait, what are you all doing?" asked the demon in charge.
"Sorry we cannot allow you to be compromised." Said one of the demons.
"What are you all talking about?" said the head demon
"If you value your life evil entity then leave." Called out one of the demons in suits.
"I'll be seeing you later." The small angel said with a smile as he left the door.
The small demons sigh with relief after 20 minutes and they all slid to the floor and sigh.
"That was close, I only had that one shot what about you guys."
"We didn't have time to load the guns." Said another demon in a suit.
"What are you guys doing? Who was he and why do you all have guns?" asked the demon in charge.
"Oh, uh boss well we are heading to a…..mob convention….yeah that's right, we wanted to get you ready to go too." Said the demon.
"Mob convention?" asked the head demon in charge.
"Y, yeah a mob convention and that angel was a spy or the other organization and he had somehow infiltrated the base so we needed to scare him off yeah and the gun um well are or the convention." Said the demon that seemed to be nervous.
"Where's my gun?" asked the head demon.
"Here it is boss." Said another demon.
The head demon got off the bed, changed in the bathroom into a suit and then smiled.
"All right, let's get going we have to kill a mobsters on the way and their goons let's go!" said the head demon heading out the door.
"Do you think it's okay to have them running crazy with guns?" asked a small girl angel.
"Hmm, I don't know, but we should get back it's getting kind of late and we need to get to the manga convention."
"Oh, it's late. Let's go! She said.
Okay so now back to where it should have been….
Italy 1348: Kyoko
Bu-bump bu-bump bu-bump. Kyoko continued to hear the same over and over and she wondered from where it was coming rom. She looked around and she sat down she was in a dark room and no light what so ever. She heard a soft song coming from the walls which seemed to be coming louder and louder. She closed her ears in hopes of silencing the sound but it was impossible, it was hurting her head and she couldn't even open her eyes she held her head and then she felt something warm beside her. She opened her eyes and she looked around she was in the snow in front of a church.
The church wasn't what she was expecting to end up, still she looked around. A nun came to her side and helped her up.
"Are you all right child?" asked the nun.
"Ah, yes I just….got lost from a friend."
"Oh, I see how about you come inside and get warm your as cold as ice. Come, come your friend will be looking for you, but if he finds you like this well he won't be so happy. Come, come." She said smiling
Kyoko graved the nun's hand and then she stopped she knew something was wrong but wasn't certain as to what was wrong. Still she followed the nun inside. They walked past the door which was closed by a few other sisters who then disappeared somewhere. She brought Kyoko to the front pew and sat her down.
"Now, wait here and I will go get you some clothes you can wear and something hot and a bit of food okay." She said smiling.
Kyoko nodded.
Kyoko looked around and was a bit amazed she had read about other religions but she had never been to one of the churches. A young woman in her late thirties smiled as she came from a hall way.
"Ah you must be the one sister Margaret was talking about. Hi my name is Sister Katherine or Kathy whichever one you like and you?" she asked.
"I'm…." Kyoko closed her mouth.
She tried to remember her name. But she couldn't have, she had a name before she wondered? She looked at Kathy who only smiled and then graved her hands.
"Don't worry, sister Margaret and the rest of us will take good care of you. So no need to worry.
Margaret came she seemed to be annoyed but smiled and came towards them.
"Ah Katherine I hope you weren't causing trouble again."
"Sister I never cause trouble, I was just telling our guest that we will take good care of him during his stay.
"yes, we will there is a room in which you can sleep in, it' small and not as big but it had a nice bed so you can sleep peacefully to night."
"Ah, thank you." Kyoko said.
Kyoko eat and followed the two sisters to the room. There they opened the door and the two sisters looked at her and smiled.
"Have a good night child. Sleep well." Said Sister Margaret.
"Thank you." She said
The two sisters closed the door and she sat on the bed she waited for a few minute then she opened her hand, there was a peace of crumpled up paper. In what seemed like coal it said. "Courtyard noon" it said. Kyoko looked at the letter and then she lay she hid the paper within her shoe since she had to change clothes form the wet ones and then she fell asleep. She felt something poking her as she lay there on the bed. She wasn't sure what it was but it was strange. She got of the bed and she looked under the bed to make sure there was no boogey man or nun under the bed ready to eat her anything then he looked at the mattress. It seemed quite normal. He turned the mattress (I'm not completely sure there were mattresses back in that day but because it's me let there be a mattress!)
There was nothing there to be found. When she placed her hands on the mattress she felt it again this time in another spot. She was going to complain to management I know I would. She looked at the mattress like a tiger ready to stick when the moon's light hit the bed and there, there was a glimmer of something sharp slightly sticking from the mattress. Now the question was what was there something sticking out from the mattress. Well okay, yes it could be a pointy spring I know how that feel and it's a pain, but it wasn't it was straight and not swirly. Kyoko took out the small knife she carried with her and cut the mattress slowly, as she did she pulled the whole wider and there were two four knife in the upright position pointing upwards to where the person who would be sleeping be.
Kyoko looked at each knife and wondered how she was able to even sit on the bed without stabbing herself. She looked at the window and she tried to open it but it was useless, they might have put superglue or nails so the window wouldn't budge. Kyoko sat in a corner and sigh she couldn't sleep on the bed so the floor was the next best thing. The good thing was the blanket and pillow was free of any harm. During the night she could hear what sounded like metal breaking still she ignored it thinking it was part of her strange dream she was having with a fairy who was trying to take a pot of gold from a leprechaun.
The noise continued on through the night and once morning hit the room Kyoko awoke. She stood up and moved around, her neck was stiff, but it was nothing a bit of stretching couldn't fix. She turned her attention to the bed which seemed to have disappeared. Then she heard something fall to the ground with a loud thud. The bed had somehow been tossed up into the ceiling and landed upside down.
"Poltergeist?" she asked.
The door opened and Sister Margaret opened her mouth and then…..
Italy 1348: Ren
Ren looked around the shied and found that it was darker than it had last been. Before it had been like a misty purple. He looked at Yashiro who seemed to be sweating a bit. Inside it was cold, he went over to Yashiro and looked at his eyes, they were clear and seemed to be straining
"Yashiro are you all right?" Ren asked.
"Huh, oh uh yeah I am don't worry about it. It's almost time we should get ready."
"I suppose so." Ren said.
They both stood up and Ren took out a scythe he had with him from somewhere. The scythe was strange in it o itself the staff was made of bones and the light pale color of the bones mingled in with a dark mist that began to encircle to scythe. The blade was made of metal with a strange insignia on the tip of the scythe. It was large and heavy to wield, but Ren made it seem like a kid's toy. He looked at Yashiro who took in a deep breath and a purplish light came from his hand and then within his hands appeared two hand guns which seemed simple enough from far away. Still guns were guns no matter what.
"There not in the best condition but they still work." He said.
"They better consider how many guests will be coming for dinner."
"I suppose so. New weapon?" he asked
"Somewhat, how many more minutes until we see them?" Ren asked looking at the shield.
"Three." Yashiro said.
Present day
Jinx looked at the documents and sigh once again. She hadn't been able to find it in any of the books. Sebastian was MIA and the others were busy trying to keep control and keep time from exploding….okay a bit of an exaggeration but it could happen. Jinx threw one book after another when she found nothing useful.
"Those idiots! How is it they can have a book to heal incurable diseases but they don't have the stupid books on time traveling and stuff. Really, they get paid too much for this job."
"Could I ask what you're doing in my private study?" asked a man.
"Huh, oh uh well I was looking for... um how to cook a flan... yeah, you know how horrible I am at cooking."
"And you couldn't get that at the local library or the internet?"
"I, uh well you see, um they don't explain very well and I ah….should go." She said
She sweat dropped and made a run to the door but the man caught her and dragged her back into the room.
"Now explain what's going on."
"Um, well you see I lost my fan when I was traveling about trying to find the key. So I needed a spell or something to go and get it." Jinx said.
"Is that so? Why not ask Ren to take you?" he said.
"He's always so busy and such." Jinx said looking around the room anywhere but the man's face.
The man looked at jinx and sigh he was aware of everything that was going on but smiled.
"Clean this mess up and head to the down stairs with the seer. She'll help you find what you need to make the flan."
"What flan?...oh yeah the flan." Jinx said smiling.
"Get to it." He said.
"Yes sir." She said.
He left and jinx sigh with relief.
"That was close. Hmm okay so I need to make flan and find a spell for time travelling….this is too much work sigh. I wonder how their doing so far." Jinx said.
Italy348: Kyoko
Sister Margaret closed her mouth and then plastered a big happy smile.
"I see you had a rough night." She said.
"A bit." Kyoko said.
"In any case the others will take care of it okay, so come, come breakfast s prepared and then mass will begin." She said.
Kyoko followed Sister Margaret out of the room and walked down the hall; still Kyoko looked back and she felt a shiver go down her back as she saw other sister looking at her with something she didn't quite understand.
"Um is there something I'm missing and about the bed and the knives?" Kyoko asked.
Sister Margaret stopped and turned slowly to look at Kyoko. When she turned around Kyoko fell to the ground. Sister Margaret's skin was grayish with lack spots on her arms and face with black goo seeping out of them. The stench almost knocked her out but she scrambled backwards and she felt the wall behind her. Sister Margaret fell to the ground and seem dot be dead. Then just like out of the movie ringu or ring which ever you refer her face looked fast at Kyoko and there was a loud cracking of bones as sister's Margaret's body turn somewhat upside down. She walked/crawled slowly towards Kyoko with a strange sound coming from her mouth, flies began escaping and Kyoko couldn't move. Sisters Margret's body came towards Kyoko and then came face to face with her. Kyoko could only see the dark eyes. Kyoko screamed and then blacked out.
