Happy new years! Eve and new years day depends onw hen oyu read this anyway. Well I have bad news and good news for everyone. I always like starting with the bad news so sorry. Now the bad news is that this chapter will continue but not sure if in this story or if I should turn it to a one shot? I started noticing it was getting longer and longer and well not sure how. I need to know what I should do waaaa. Anyway here is part of the Christmas special for your guys. It actually ties into the story in some way. Hope you guys like it and tell me what you think.

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. The stockings were hung form the chimney's neck and all of the town slept within their beds. So the young children had all written a letter to Santa asking for the thing they wanted most for Christmas. Now most of the children all wanted a toy tuck or the newest doll along with clothes and shoes, but there was one small little girl that wanted one thing, and one thing only. Something that wasn't bought with money. Now the question was what did this little girl want that wasn't what the other children had. I suppose I should start a bit earlier.

The young girl name was Kyoko a sweet adorable girl who enjoyed life even though it was hard and sometimes unfair to her and others. She had a friend named Sho who was…..well a jerk anyways I was always taught if you have nothing good to say about the person then don't say anything at all and I am using that lesson now. Kyoko for an early age had loved her parents vey much as any other child would. Since we are born we learn that they are our life rafts and that we depend on them for substance and love and a lace to call home. Kyoko's mother at the begging was nice she was a loving mother. Kyoko's father a very caring man who loved his family and would do anything for them two.

It was a week before Christmas when Seane(don't remember how Kyoko's mother's names spelled) took a young 7 year old Kyoko form the home and disappeared before her husband arrived home with the freshly cut Christmas tree. She brought Kyoko on a train and boarded to unknown lands. Kyoko would ask her mother where was her father, but she would always tell her that he was a bad man and that she should forget him….

Two years later

Kyoko looked out the window and could see the snow begin to pile on the window panes form the outside. The snow gently floated down on to the ground making a very white blanket of snow upon the ground.

"Children gather around, it's time for a story." Said a teenage girl.

The children ran to rave their special toy which they held most dear to them. Kyoko as a good little girl graved the only thing she had of value, a stuffed bunny with an eye missing.. Still she loved the bunny dearly. She took her seat next to a girl who was kind enough and they got along pretty well but the other girl preferred to be with others but out of pity she would play with Kyoko. The young teenage girl smiled at all of them and a young man passed out a glass of milk and each a few cookies to read.

"Is everyone settled?" she asked. Seeing as they all nodded she smiled and opened up the hard covered book and smiled. "All right…it was the night before Christmas the Christmas tree lights were on the Christmas tree all lite and bright and with the bulbs were flashing with the smiles of the bright children who would soon be able to open their presents on Christmas day. The children would be able to play and dance and sing along with all of the joy and fun for the next day…."

"It's bed time children. Come now. Sad a very old grumpy lady.

The teenage girl looked at the old grumpy lady and sigh.

"Wouldn't it be okay just this one story, I won't be able to see the children for quite some time. Please?"

"A no is a no, now off to bed with you little brats. Or that fat old man won't come to leave coal for all of you in your stocking."

The children all went to bed. Kyoko looked at the teen age girl and would've cried but the girl smiled and waved her off. So off to be it was for our sad little Kyoko. All the children got into their bed and the young teen age girl and the young man came into the room and all left a small box on the bed of the children. As they left each of the children one by one they would fall asleep. They came towards Kyoko's bed and she looked at the teenage girl who smiled and the young man.

"Why do you have to go?" little Kyoko asked.

"Well, it's a bit hard to explain, but don't worry Kyoko no matter where I am or where you are we will always be connected inside here (pointed to Kyoko's heat) and here( and her head)…..for ever and ever.

"Really?" Kyoko asked

"Of course, the memories one shares with one another is important and the people you care about most are always going to be in your heart." She said.

"But….I don't want you to go."

"I know I wish I didn't have to go but I have no other choice. But I'll leave you a small present so you'll always have me close to you and you can send me a message also."

"Really?"

"Yep, but you have to keep it a secret form everyone else okay. On Christ mas day you open and it will only work if you believe in it."

"Okay, I will believe forever." She said

"I know you will, now it's time to sleep and dream about that prince of yours okay."

"Okay. Good night." Little Kyoko said

"Good night little one, good dreams."

Kyoko looked at them as they left the room and she felt her eyes begin to close.

Half an hour later

The sound of the grandfather clock stuck which woke her up. She sat on her bed rubbing her eyes and she looked around to see all the other children sleeping and still snug in their bed. She was about to lay down when she saw white puffs of light that seemed to be jumping towards the door which lead to the first floor. Kyoko quietly got out of bed put on her slippers and walked out of the room. She made sure the small white puffs wouldn't see her if they did they would run away. She slowly climbed down the stairs scared not to make a sound. There she watched as a small ground of puffs seemed to skate around the wooden floor. There stood the teenage girl with the young man who was speaking to one another.

"Maybe we should have done something to prevent this. That boy never listens." Said the girl.

"There is nothing much we can do. We might as well surrender." Said the young man

"Surrender?" Kyoko said.

They all stopped and looked around.

"It seems they have found us hide" said the girl.

The puffs of light and the girl and boy ran to some place. Kyoko slowly descended the stairs as she did she felt strange everything started to get bigger and bigger. She had no idea why still she was ore curious about where they had all gone and about what they had been talking about. She reached he last step and when she did she looked up and saw the ceiling so high up it was almost like the sky lite up with stars and a dark light. She walked towards where the Christmas tree which looked like a tower from where she stood. She could hear moments and nothing but silence when she looked around the room which looked like a desert. She walked towards the tree and then she heard what sounded like a small motorcycle. Coming from a distance. The girl who had been there she looked around and then she panicked when she saw little Kyoko.

She graved her and brought her to one of the small Christmas houses which could actually open. She quickly closed the door and sigh with relief

"Kyoko, how did you get here. You were supposed to be asleep."

"What's going on?" asked little Kyoko.

"You have to get back into bed before the rat king finds you. If he does I'm not sure what will happen to you. This is not good. Not good at all." She said.

"Who's the rat king."

A boy came out dressed as a toy soldier and with a wooden sword at his side he smiled and bowed towards Kyoko. Kyoko curtsied and looked at the boy who seemed to be only a few years older than her.

"Who are you?" he asked

"Kyoko and who are you?"

"I'm Ren, did you come from the toy kingdom?"

"Toy kingdom?" she asked.

"Ah Kyoko how about some milk and cookies. Go into the kitchen and grave whatever you need.

Little Kyoko went into the kitchen and was amazed at everything she saw she was in food heaven. Now her only problem was, well what to eat for the time being. In the other room the boy looked at the ten age girl and sigh.

"What do you mean she's not from the toy kingdom. You know children aren't allowed to enter the toy realm so why is she here."

"Well I don't really know you see. Well he might know but to ask him well it would be a bit hard." She said.

"What, what do you mean, where is he?" Ren asked.

"He's been captured by the rat king."

"What how? This isn't good first the kingdom is taken over by the rat king then he's captured and now a human has been able to pass into the toy realm. Nothing seems to be going well for us."

"But what if….." she said but then closed her mouth.

"You don't think she could be…. There's only one way to know if she's…. we'll take her to the ghost of Christmas past. He might know." Ren said.

"We have to hurry his knights are coming and if we don't hurry they'll capture all of us.

They entered the kitchen and little Kyoko was fast asleep/

"It seems it's past her bed time."

"We have to hurry or we won't be able to catch the elevator."

"Wasn't it out of order after what the ginger bread did?"

"We will have to take our chances."

Ren graved Kyoko in his arms and they snuck out the back door and closed it. At that very moment when the door closed they heard the sound of motorcycles coming form the front and yelling. They ran towards the town square where all the houses were lit but locked they came to city hall where the doors where one. They entered and they could see the snow men in a corner and cowering for the warmth of the room.

"What do you think you're doing here soldier, haven't your fellow men done enough harm. They've taken the little ones and imprisoned them." Said a snowman

"Where is the mayor? As the teenage girl."

"As if anyone would ever tell you." Said the gingerbread woman

"Oh confound it. Where is he? Look either you tell us where the mayor is or…or ill make him eat all of you.'

Ren sigh and looked around, there was a sofa where he placed Kyoko gently down and sighs as he turned back to the teen age girl.

"Threating them won' work you know."

"H, he, he's in the attic." Said the gingerbread woman.

The gingerbread woman coward along with the snow men in the corner and looked very scared.

"You were saying." Said the girl.

"I was wrong. Watch her while I go get the mayor."

"But… okay go don't take too long" she said.

Kyoko opened her eyes and looked around the room she had been there several times she wants sure when but she had been there.

"Kyoko are you okay."

"Uh huh." She responded.

She rubbed her eyes and the young girl smiled at her.

"Kyoko, this might sound like a weird question but do you believe in Santa clause?" she asked.

"Santa clause?" she asked.

"Yes Santa clause…."

"I…" Kyoko closed her mouth.

She stood up and she went to look at the gingerbread woman who was shaking, she reached out and touched one of the snow man hands and smiled. The snow man stopped shivering and began to melt, the ice of the snow man began to melt and in their place there stood people form the town. They all gasped I had been such a long time since they had been themselves. The girl looked at Kyoko and then she was happy but she was also sad, if it was what they had suspected then it would be even sadder to know what will happen. The mayor came along with Ren down the stairs and he sigh.

"Can't get enough sleep now can?"

"What happened?" asked Ren."

"Kyoko did."

"Is there a curse?" she asked.

"A cruse? Oh you mean that then yes. Little girl by any chance where are your parents?" asked the mayor.

"My parents?" Kyoko said spacing out

The sound of motorcycles were coming from outside the people ran to the second floor and they went along as well. The door was heavily shut with metal and they waited.

"Kyoko I need to know if you believe in Santa." She asked.

"I…. who are they?" she asked instead."

"There the rats king's men they take what they want and imprison anyone thy want. But we have to get to the ghost of Christmas past, he'll be able to help us out."

"How do we get there asked Kyoko?"

"We need to take the elevator." She said.

"Are you nuts, the elevator was being reconstructed at the time those idiot knights came and destroyed the town. You can't use it its dangerous. You could all die."

"We have to get there no matter what. We are already in enough trouble as it is."

"Listen here toy soldier, this girl isn't even strong enough to make the trip. She can't be killed you know what will happen if that happens."

Kyoko looked form one face to another but then took a peek out the window and saw the rat kings men in armor try to tear down the door. Kyoko looked around and she saw the blankets and she began tying them to make a big rope. The others were busy in talking and arguing. She graved the end of the blankets and she sat a hook with a loop. She tied the end and she looked around. She tied it securely with the small bit of rope she found and she looked and she found a window that was away from sight and would allow her to go onto the roof. She opened the window and went out onto the roof. She steadied herself on the roof and she closed her eyes.

"Believe." She whispered.

She threw the rope made out of blankets and it caught on to one of the branches on the tree. She made sue it was safe and she looked around. She entered back into the room and she pulled Ren towards the window where he looked and nodded. They got into a line and went one by one. Ren went first then Kyoko and then the girl then the mayor and then the people that had been turned back into human beings. They began climbing when they heard yells.

"There escaping get them!" said one of the knights.

"They found out hurry!" called out the mayor."

Ren climbed the fastest he could and so did Kyoko. One of the knights graved on to the rope and was climbing up fast. They hurried but it was still a bit ways off.

"Do you think you could run away." Said the knight.

The once ginger bread woman and snow man al looked and nodded towards the teenage girl who sigh.

"You two go on, we'll take care of them."

"No, you have to come with us." Kyoko said.

"Little Kyoko don't worry we'll see each other again." She said smiling.

"Hey I never signed up for fighting when I took up as mayor."

"You used to tight so I don't see the difference now stop whining and get ready." She said

"Ren, take care of her or I'll never forgive you." She said smiling.

Kyoko stopped but Ren pulled her as he climbed little by little. The teen age girl took out a knife and began cutting the fabric, the knight was reaching them then it broke off. The knight made a jump but the girl managed to grave onto the knight and the knight cursed as they fell to the ground.

"Noooooooooooooooooooooo!" Kyoko yelled.

"Common we have to keep on going for their sake." Ren said.

"Kyoko cried on her way up and after two hours made it to the tree branch. She looked down and she cried even more. Ren hugged her and sigh."

"It's okay. They don't die so easily okay. I want to show you something."

She nodded and stood up, they waked along the tree branch and then there was a ballerina there standing.

"It's you, hmmm what is it you want now?"

"Is past there?"

"Why do you want to go see past so early in the evening."

"Is he there or not?" Ren asked smiling very kindly.

The ballerina smiled and then sigh."

"He's always there no matter what. But the elevator's completely destroyed."

"We might have to climb."

"There is also the sugar plum fairy, she's very good at flying you know."

"There has to be another way up."

"Who's the sugar plum fairy? Asked Kyoko.

"Oh, you'll love her."

"Let's go." Ren said.

They walked away from the ballerina who only smiled and then disappeared. They walked along the branches and finally arrived to a snow covered area around the tree. Bright shimmering lights danced and the music beautifully played as the bright light danced to its tune. They made their way towards the middle and there stood a girl about Kyoko's age. She had blond hair and blue eyes and she seemed to be looking at the bright lights. When she turned to them and she dived for Ren who caught her in his arms and smiled.

"REEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNN! You finally came!" she smiled.

"Um excuse me?" Kyoko asked.

"Who is she?" asked the sugar plum fairy."

" A friend…I actually came for your help."

"My help? For what?" she asked.

"We need to get up to see the ghost of Christmas past. Would it be possible?"

"Hmmmmmmm, the ballerina did say something about that. Hmmmm, but I'm not sure if your friend can go."

"What why?"

"Her magic meter is very low. You know that it can only work if one believes in one self."

"how do you know my believe magic is low?" asked Kyoko."

"We fairies can tell just by looking but since Ren asked me too I will try to help but there is one thing I need to know about you." She said.

"What is that?" asked Kyoko.

"Do you believe in fairies?"

(If you believe clap and we'll be able to save them. Clap with me. Common clap or at least humor me a bit. That's it Yaaaaaay!)

"Um… "

A bear appeared and he looked around, then he saw Kyoko and he hugged her. They were all ready for a fight the bear was known to have eaten a lot of people and especially liked to eat children. But the bear had been in hibernation all this time. Kyoko began laughing and they both looked at the bear how seemed to be smiling.

"Good boy. She said smiling.

"You two know each other?" said Ren."

"We met a long time ago after that we became good friend isn't that right snowy."

"Why do you call him snowy? Asked the sugar plum fairy."

"Um well."

The bear nudged at her and she hugged him. Kyoko nodded and then smiled to the sugar plum fairy.

"We can make it up there." Kyoko said smiling.

"Are you sure?" asked the sugar plum fairy.

"Yes," she said confidently

"Okay, Ren comeback and visit okay Maria will be sad if you don't"

"Where is she anyway?" Ren asked.

"She's visiting a few snow princes." She said.

"I see.

The sugar plum fairy held out her hand and snow began lifting off the ground and slowly beginning to circle around her hand. She smiled and then she blew the snow towards them.

"Dance." She said smiling.

They began to lift off the ground as the small bright lights came to their side and guided them in what appeared to be a whirl around the tree as they danced their way up. Finally they arrived to the center of the tree to where there lay a cottage. The bright lights said farewell and then left. Kyoko thanked the and watched as they left and disappeared within the branches. Snowy came close to Kyoko and she pet him on his head. They walked slowly towards the cottage that was open.

They walked slowly into the cottage and then the doo closed behind them. As they approached the living room a ninja gingerbread man came and looked at them.

"What business do you have in coming to see the ghost of Christmas past."

"We need to speak to him. Is he home."

"Hmmmmm, you all loot suspicious. You're not here for the cake are you?" said the gingerbread man

"Cake?" they all asked

"Huh, h nothing. Sit I'll go get him."

They all took a seat and Kyoko looked at the ceiling which had a lot of what seemed like papers form a book.

"So you've finally made it here. Hmmm and who may this young girl be?" asked a man who stood wearing white.

"Um, she's." Ren said

"Human from the looks of it and it seems you've brought along a man eating bear into my home Ren. Sigh is there anything else you would like to tell me?"

"Um well…"

"My dear girl what is your name?" the ghost of Christmas past said.

"Kyoko." She said bowing.

"Kyoko, hmmmm so why are you here?" he asked looking at Ren.

Ren was uncomfortable and Kyoko could see why. The man seemed to be smiling, but there was an overwhelming anger not of disappointment but of scolding.

"Nothing else."

"I see. Kyoko it seems there is something that you have been trying to say for the longest of time so why do you not say it?"

"I'm not allowed too."

"Not allowed too? Why so?"

"Can't say…." She said looking at the ground."

There was a crash through the door to the front and the ninja gingerbread man came into the room and looked panicked.

"They've come you must hurry and leave!" he said.

"Hurry!" Said the ghost of Christmas past.

The sounds of motorcycles coming from the outside seemed to be coming closer. There was a bright light and ….
