Chapter 12: Welcome Home?

Helloooo again on this lovely day my readers. I'm terribly sorry that I accidentally forgot the 1 on the update date but it was really supposed to be the 18th not the 8th, I'm sorry. However I am updating today so as promised here is my latest chapter. I hope you all love it and if you have any suggestions or comments then please remember to review or P.M. me. Thank all of you for sticking with me this far. I am overjoyed with the amounts of followers and reviewers I have. I honestly never thought anyone would enjoy my story. So thank you all for being so amazing. I especially want to thank those that reviewed my last chapter featuring my very first lemon :) there will definitely be more to come. I wanted nothing more than to be besides this man for the rest of my life and there was nothing anyone could do to stop me, was the last thing I thought before drifting off to sleep.

CURRENT TIME (Lucy's Pov ): ~timeskip next morning~

'Yesterday had to have been the greatest night of my life,' I thought to myself. Not long after I fell asleep last night Ryuu was brought up to our room and told Laxus many stories about his 'adventures' at the daycare. Laxus was relieved to find out Ryuu made a few friends and couldn't wait to see them again. A few stories later, Ryuu had tired himself out and took a little cat nap on the sofa where him and Laxus had been chatting. Not more than 45 minutes after Ryuu came did the food Laxus ordered came up. The food came in on a silver cart with round lids covering the plates in order to keep the meals warm. On the cart there was a lovely vase filled with three white roses and near them laid one knife, one fork, and two spoons for each of us. Our silverware was lying nicely upon a light blue handkerchief. Overall the cart was put together rather nicely. Once the servers had left Laxus woke me up and the three of us ate dinner together before we cuddled up tightly into the bed that Laxus and I had made love on not more than a few hours before. I finally felt like I belonged someone, that I had a true family. Yes, I feel the same way about Fairy Tail but here in the arms of the man who I completely loved felt a little different. I had Ryuu wrapped up in my arms while Laxus had me wrapped in his. It was a perfect family moment that made me realize that I could have that happy life I had always dreamed of since I was a little girl. I laid there in our bed feeling the comfort of the suns rays creeping threw the window shade falling upon my face while I listened to the breathing and heartbeats of my mini family. I was calm and peaceful, I almost hoped they wouldn't wake up so that I could just lay there forever feeling the warmth of their bodies. My daydream and serenity soon was cut sort as a began to feel Ryuu stir in my arms. Looking behind me I also noticed that Laxus was to beginning to wake up. After all of us of got up we decided to spend our last week training our bodies to the max and not relaxing like we originally planned to. The three of us quickly got ready, I took a hot shower while Laxus and Ryuu began packing our things. Once I was done I dressed in usual work out clothing and tied my hair up so that it was out of my face. After I got out of the bathroom Laxus and Ryuu stepped in and took what seemed to be that fastest shower I had ever seen. Soon we were all dressed and ready we left the hotel and made our way to a clearing inside the forest, it was just next to the beach. It didn't take Laxus long to order me around, not that minded much because it was helping me get stronger. He had me running up and down the beach shore but while I was running I was to focus my magic energy so that it would flow around my body almost like a meditation state. As I was beginning to run down the sandy path Laxus stopped me and grabbed me by my waist and kissed me.

"Remember to breath and if you feel the need to stop don't hesitate, just take a minute and then get right back to running." Laxus told me after our lips parted.

"You sound like you've done this before" I told him questionably.

"I did, once I felt the need to actually train and use my dragon slaying magic I did this everyday" Laxus said. "Oh and can you have Loke and that Bull spirit come out for Ryuu and I to train with" He finished.

"Sure just don't zap them Sparky" I replied before summoning them and explaining what was going on. Once Loke and Taurus understood and went off to train with Laxus and Ryuu I summoned out Capricorn and asked him if he could help me fixate my energy to the way Laxus wanted before I began running. Capricorn told me that what Laxus said to do would increase my magic level greatly because while the magic I already had would follow out of my body, new magic was able to fill inside. After Capricorn told me what to do I began my run. It was easy at first but after the 6th lap back I started to feel my magic level decreasing. I looked back at Laxus and Ryuu and noticed that Laxus was trying to teach Ryuu to grow into a battle mode almost like Pantherlily was able to. I thought that it was adorable seeing Laxus teach Ryuu almost like a father and son moment. Ryuu looked like he was able to stay in his big body form for about a minute before he was back to his normal size. However, Ryuu didn't look like Pantherlily when he would grow. Ryuu would grow till he was just a little shorter than me but his fur would disappear leaving only his ears, tail and claws. He looked like a shorter Laxus but with cat ears, a tail and claws. I was amazed to see sweet little Ryuu training to get stronger. I knew that in just a few short months when Ryuu was older he would definitely be the strongest exceed and I was so proud to call him mine. 'Mine.' hearing myself say that word opened my mind to just how much my life changed in only a few weeks. I honestly couldn't wait to return home though. Sure I had more than enough fun with Laxus but I did miss my friends. I missed Levy complaining about me not writing my book fast enough, Gajeel complain about making Levy complain, Happy asking for fish, Mira's strawberry milkshakes, Erza's cake addiction, telling Gray to put his clothes back on and even hearing Juvia calling me her love rival. I thought about the past two months and realized that Natsu kicking me off the team had to have been a blessing rather than a curse. I didn't blame Lisanna, no I love her she is my nakama. It just hurt me that they didn't realize just how much they hurt me. When I think back I realize that had Gajeel not have said the words he did to me that day I probably would be here. I would be here with Laxus and Ryuu. I wouldn't have a goal. I wouldn't want to get stronger, and I wouldn't have rent money. I'm glad that I ended up owing Laxus, although I only owed him because he saved me from having to face the wrath of both Erza and the Master I'm still really happy. I looked ahead of me and noticed I had already made it back to where Laxus, Ryuu, Taurus and Loke had been. Once my spirit friends saw me they both left for the spirit realm. I looked up and realized that it was pretty late out. The three of us decided we would head back to the room after talking about how our training went. Once we got into our room Ryuu practically ran into the bedroom and collapsed on the bed falling asleep. Laxus and I soon followed him laying our bodies down on both sides of him.

Timeskip! (1 week later, sorry I got lazy) Same POV

For the past week Laxus, Ryuu, and I did the same training regiment nonstop. The three of us knew that our magic ability had risen higher than what we expected. I was now able to summon all of my zodiac spirits at once. Capricorn also taught me a few new celestial spells and taught me the Stellar Secret Art Spell. This secret spell aloud me to use my spirit friends powers as if they were my own. The spell was only taught to Stellar mages that the Spirit King thought were at a high enough level and treated their spirits with complete respect and love. The Stellar Secret Art Spell even aloud me to use Gemini's ability to scan a persons memories and even hear what they were thinking. Ryuu was able to stay in his transformation for about 20 minutes before he got tired. Laxus was still pretty much the same but his destructive power multiplied. Now here we are packing up the last of our stuff and leaving the hotel. I really was going to miss it here. So many wonderful memories were created in this room. Once we checked out of our room the manager came out of his office and said his thanks you to both Laxus and me. He also told us we could come back anytime and if there was ever another problem we would be the first ones he would call. I felt very accomplished with how things went once he told us that. Soon the three of us had our train tickets purchased and were boarding the train back to Magnolia. I knew this would be an absolute hectic day, I knew that my emotions would be all over the place, but I was completely happy. I had both Laxus and Ryuu here beside me. I knew Laxus would stand by my side till the very end. We all sat down in an empty cabin and waited for the train to begin moving. Once we felt the train begin to move I looked over and saw Laxus was looking the opposite way clearly trying to focus on something other than the train moving.

"Whats wrong Laxus?" Ryuu questioned who had managed to say his name without the babyish tone. Laxus looked over at me before quickly looking away and focusing back on the spot he had been previously watching as if he was begging me. I let a small giggle pass my lips before looking down at Ryuu who was resting in my lap.

"He has motion sickness, all Dragon Slayers do Ryuu. Even the other ones at our guild" I told him.

"There are other people like Laxus?" Ryuu asked me.

"Yep, there are three at Fairy Tail and we know of two others in a different guild and one other that is in jail. The ones at out guild are the Fire Dragon Slayer Salamander or Natsu, Black Steel or Iron Dragon Slayer Gajeel, and the Air and Healing Dragon Slayer Wendy. They also all have exceeds just like you" I told him.

"Ohh, that's cool! Can there exceeds do the same things I can?" Ryuu asked with big eyes.

"Well, you're the only exceed I've ever seen that takes on a half human form, but Gajeel's exceed Pantherlily can grow huge, like to the size of Laxus and Wendy's exceed Charle can see bits and pieces of the future." I said.

"What about Salamanders exceed what can he do?" He asked puzzled.

"Well Happy can't really do anything other than Aera just like you and all the other exceeds." I said a little confused myself.

"Are they nice?"

"Yes Ryuu they are very nice. There's no need to be afraid. Everyone in Fairy Tail will treat you like family I promise. You can even get the guild mark in any color you want, see just like mine." I said showing him my Fairy Tail guild imprinted hand.

"That's so cool!" Ryuu said. I could practically feel his excitement flowing from him. I looked back over at Laxus and smiled. He was still staring at the exact same spot but had managed to slip on his sound pod. The music must calm him down because his expression had softened a bit. I knew that he was probably thinking about the same things I was thinking about during training. Mainly about how the guild would react. Laxus then looked his eyes over at me and then down at Ryuu. Following Laxus' gaze I noticed Ryuu had fallen asleep in my lap in a little ball form. It was quite cute to see. Laxus then pulled off his head phones and looked over at me.

"Are you okay with everything." Laxus questioned me.

"Of course I am, I will have you right there beside me right?" I spoke.

"Yes, I just don't want everyone to make such a big fuss." He said.

"We're Fairy Tail we make everything a big fuss" I said with a laugh

"I guess that's true. I called gramps last night to let him now we're coming back today. He told me that it was good because he was going to announce who he nominated for S-Class. He mentioned something about wanting to get the nominees out early so they can train longer and he can better observe them." Laxus told me. I looked at him wide-eyed. Master didn't even have the chance to see how much my magic has grown. The suspense would kill me, 'Mavis I hope I'm on that list.' I thought in my head.

"Laxus, thank you." I said

"For?" He replied.

"Everything." I said and smiled looking up at him. During the rest trip I rested my head on Laxus' shoulder while Ryuu curled up in my thoughts that went While we rode I told Laxus all about the thoughts I had about us and everyone in Fairy Tail. I told him all thoughts that went through my head while we were training. All Laxus would do was nod his head or let a little smile fall on his face. We eventually found ourselves just sitting there listening to the train going over the train tracks. We just sat there enjoying each others company. Soon the voice of the train conductor was heard letting us know that we would reach our destination soon. The train ride went relevantly quickly which Laxus thought was a nice change due to his motion sickness. Once the train pulled into the train station and stopped we all excited the train and made our way along the cobblestone path. We walked side by side with Ryuu floating over our heads. We stole small glances at each other until we were standing in front of the two giant wooden doors that led into Fairy Tail. I looked at both Laxus and Ryuu and saw them both nod their heads at me. I reached my hands up to both doors and gave a rough push to them causing them to swing forward and collide with the walls on either side. I stepped inside along with Laxus and looked up at my nakama, oh how I missed them so.

"We're Back!" I yelled to my family but the only response I got was that of their wide stares.
