A/N- QUESTION FOR MY READERS- When I upload a chapter on here I've noticed that words are randomly taken out from my writings. Like in my last chapter the word "homework" is missing from a sentence said by Inuyasha but it's not like that in my original document. Is anyone else having problems with this?

"Won't you cure my tragedy?
Don't take her smile away from me
She's broken and I'm far away
Won't you cure my tragedy?
if you make the world a stage for me
then I hope that you can hear me scream
Won't you cure my tragedy? " -COLD

Chapter Sixteen- Cure my Tragedy

Inuyasha sat with Kagome at the kitchen counter. It didn't take long for either of them to realize that he was a bad teacher. Izayoi smiled at the two teens as she offered them some tea and mini cakes.

"Studying for a test? That's so unlike you, Inuyasha...though I'm not complaining. What class is it for?"

The hanyou's ears went back in agitation. "It's not for school. Kagome wants to learn Japanese."

Kagome could feel his agitation and tried to give him a reassuring smile. "It's okay, I'm sure your teaching will improve, just like my Japanese is sure to improve."

Inuyasha let out a grumble before continuing with their little lesson.

"Oh Sesshomaru, would you like some tea and cakes as well?" Izayoi asked the older boy as he walked into the kitchen.

"No thank you," his eyes fell upon the other two teens in the room, his mouth instantly going down into a frown, "Studying?" He asked tonelessly.

Kagome nervously turned to him. "No, Inuyasha was nice enough to offer to help me with my Japanese. Even if the school mostly speaks English, that still greatly limits my socialization outside of school."

"Wouldn't it be better for me to teach you," Sesshomaru asked with a slight edge to his voice. He didn't know why but he suddenly felt a little angry. Why did he feel so put out all of a sudden?

Inuyasha scowled at his older half-brother. "What? You don't think I'm good enough to do it?"

"Now boys," Izayoi warned gently.

"Inuyasha is a good teacher," Kagome spoke up,"But thank you anyway, Sesshomaru-sama."

Sesshomaru could not stop the slight twitching of what was almost a facial expression. Since when was he Sesshomaru-sama? Why was his girlfriend being so formal with him? She did her best to avoid him all day at school and now she was calling him Sesshomaru-sama? Storming out of the kitchen he went in search of his father. He found the older taiyoukai in his study as per usual.

"What has she been saying to you," Sesshomaru demanded angrily.

InuTaisho put down the paper he was reading. "Pardon me?"

"Kagome...what has she been saying to you during her sessions..."

He gave his son a stern look. "You know I can't share such information with you Sesshomaru."

Sesshomaru did his best to get his temper back in check. Why was he so angry? What was this? The silver haired teen did his best to analyze his own thoughts. The way she had sat next to Inuyasha so carefree and even smiling at him...it made him see red. She was never like that with him.

Suddenly feeling exhausted, Sesshomaru slumped down into one of the chairs. "Father...I don't know what I'm supposed to do."

For a moment InuTaisho thought perhaps he had been imagining things. He had never seen an expression like this on Sesshomaru before.

The older taiyoukai let out a long sigh. He wanted to help his eldest son but he needed to keep Kagome's confidentiality as well. He got out his notepad and wrote something down for Sesshomaru. Pushing the notepad over to him, InuTaisho capped his pen.

"I want you to look this up on the internet. It should help you with Kagome."

Sesshomaru looked down at the three written words. "You are sure this will be of use to me?"

"That all depends on what you do with the information. Now I have work to get back to. Make sure you are on time for dinner this time. Izayoi wants us all to eat as a family tonight."

"Hn," Sesshomaru responded as he left the room.

That night when the young taiyoukai entered the dining room he had to hold back a growl. Kagome was sitting next to Inuyasha again and seemed to be in some sort of deep conversation with him. The only thing that made this situation better was that Kikyou had been invited to dinner tonight. She sat on the other side of Inuyasha, also taking part in said conversation.

Sesshomaru sat beside Kagome, shamelessly listening in on what he could of their constant chatter. For some reason they were discussing a ramen shop. Sesshomaru had never bothered with trying such a food before. Seeing Inuyasha stuff his face with it consistently just made it even more unappealing. But as Sesshomaru continued to listen in he realized that they weren't talking about eating there.

"My Aunt can be really strict but gives good hours. I already work there on the weekends so I can show you the ropes on our next day off," Kikyou told the other raven haired girl.

The conversation was cut short as dinner was served. The silver haired teen looked down at his food but could not bring himself to eat anything. Why was Kagome getting a job? Didn't she already have everything she needed here? He glanced over at his raven haired beauty. She was still his, wasn't she? The taiyoukai opened his mouth to speak, only to close it again. He needed to talk to Kagome but not in front of his whole family.

Izayoi cast her step-son a worried glance upon noticing his expression. "Are you alright, Sesshomaru?"

"Fine…actually no. I'm not feeling well. May I please be excused?"

"Of course dear. I'll save your dish in case you get hungry later."

"Thank you." Sesshomaru got up and rushed upstairs. It wasn't his room however that he went to. The taiyoukai glanced around to make sure no one had bothered to follow him up before entering Kagome's room.

He glanced around with only one thing on his mind. Where was that little book? It might be able to tell him something useful if she had written again recently. He easily found it in a drawer of the bedside table. There was indeed a new entry. A rather long one at that.

Sesshomaru sat down on the edge of Kagome's bed as he scanned down the contents of her journal. So engrossed was he in his reading that he failed to hear the faint footstep coming up the stairs…until it was too late.

"Sesshomaru," Kagome began to say before noticing what he held in his hands. Her expression instantly turned cold. Her look was so severe that it made even Sesshomaru uneasy.

"What do you think you're doing?"

A/N- Sorry for the short chapter and thank you for all the great reviews! I've really enjoyed reading them. I've been in quite a rut so they have been a good motivation for me to keep updating despite my rather sour mood. Thank you so much for all the nice reviews!
