Chapter 14
Thoughts
The months had passed and the four of them had been closer than before. Angela and Liz hadn't become an official couple but by the way they acted they had. It was snowing outside and it was a week before Christmas. Alice was in the Shops with Liz.
"So what do I get her?"
"I say make her a vampire. You know we're taking a huge risk by not changing them."
"So what? You're going to change Angela? She doesn't even know what you are?!"
"I know. I was planning on telling her tonight."
"Ok. I hope she takes it as well as Bella did"
"Will you guys be at home just so that she feels she isn't alone."
"Sure."
They got everything they were looking for and they picked Angela and Bella up at Bella's place. They went to Alice's and split into their two couples as usual.
"So Ms Swan, what do you want to do inside the house?"
"Why inside the house?"
"I promised Liz we'd be here because she wants to tell Angela tonight."
"Oh. How about you take out those contacts first and show me those beautiful red eyes and then I wanna ask you something"
"Ok, what you wanna talk about?"
"Change me. Soon"
"Why?"
"Because everyday I get older and I don't want to grow old if I don't have to. Especially when I have a gorgeous girlfriend already."
"You're sweet but I want you to know everything before I change you. Which means you gonna go hunting with me so you can see what being a vampire is like at its worst."
"Ok. So why did Liz decide to tell Angela tonight?"
"Because she wants to change her too."
"Really wow. So what do you think?"
"I think they'll be happy together. I've seen their possible futures and I'm betting on the positive one."
"Ok enough about them. I wanna know more about you. Tell me another story about days gone by"
"Ok so once I was in Scotland..."
"Scotland?"
"Yes Scotland. Now shh let me tell you the story"
"Ok ok."
And so she did. While upstairs a different conversation was taking place.
"So not like hollywood?"
"Not at all!"
"But you're immortal?"
"Yes, you're taking this very calmly."
"I figured something was different about you and Alice but I would never have guessed that it was this. Wow. So why are you telling me now? Why not months ago?"
"Because I asked you something months ago. Your answer told me it wasn't time. But I'm telling you this so that I can ask you something in turn."
"What's that?"
"Be my girlfriend and someday let me change you. Because ever since I met you I can't think of any other scenario that makes sense."
"Yes. Yes to everything."
They kissed.
"There's a lot I need to tell you before but i'll show you everything so that you know what you're saying yes to"
"I'm saying yes to you. Everything else is merely of consequence."
"I love you Angela."
"And I you Elizabeth"
"Wow, I'm glad you took it so well. I don't know what would've happened if it had gone the other way"
"Me running out of the house like a mad person?"
"Something like that."
"I couldn't. You're the best thing that's happened to me. See I don't really fit in with the family I'm in. I wanna be a free spirit travelling and learning but not institutional learning. But what my parents have planned for me is college after high school. So that's not going to happen because I hate school as is"
"But you're a top student?"
"By force and hard work and pulling myself out of day dreams about you!"
"What day dreams?"
"Let me show you"
She pushed her flat on her back and kissed her neck.
"The way your beautiful blonde hair just falls into place and your sweet smile."
She kissed between her breasts.
"The way you make me feel with your touch and how you know exactly what I want."
She kissed her belly
"But my favourite has to be the ones where I'm laying in your arms and you tell me that I'm the most beautiful girl you have ever seen in your life. You made me feel so loved even before you told me you loved me"
She kissed her on the lips again.
"Sounds like you have some really nice day dreams there sweety. But seriously what's up with the Forks girls. You are good with weird stuff. Bella took the news as calmly as you are."
"Can I tell you something about Bella and I?"
"Sure?"
"I used to have a massive crush on her. The day we met I was planning on kissing her. Stealing her heart of sorts but then you and Alice showed up. And I met you, then Bella just seemed like a consolation prize because all I wanted from that moment on was you"
"You so evil and sweet. I love it"
They continued talking and Alice heard everything.
"Hey stop eavesdropping."
"You wouldn't mind if you knew what Angela just said about you"
"Tell me?"
"I thought you disapproved of eavesdropping"
"Please tell me Alice baby?"
She just couldn't resist Bella when she tried acting all sweet and needy.
"Ok, she used to have a crush on you. Up until she met Liz"
"You never told me that day why you came back after we fought."
"I guess I have a confession to make."
"No! Please tell me it's not what I think?"
"What do you think?"
"That you saw a vision of me and Angela doing something and you came back to make sure I stayed yours?"
"Well..."
"It is! Alice how will I make my decisions if you choose the ones that make you happy?"
"Bells we wouldn't be here if I hadn't made that choice. You'd be with her and I would be with Liz."
"So what. That's how life is supposed to be"
"Bella please you're being unreasonable."
"Unreasonable!"
She threw her phone at Alice who caught it.
"Why do you want to control my life!"
"Hey what's going on?"
Angela and Liz were standing at the door.
"She lied to me."
"What do you mean Bells?"
"You know the night you met Liz. Alice told me that you planned on kissing me. That's why they came so that it wouldn't happen."
Angela turned to Liz.
"So you were there to make sure I didn't steal your friends girl?"
"No, well yes in the beginning but so much has change since then. I love you now."
"But you lied to me. From the start."
Bella grabbed her by the hand and they left the house. They started walking home. The last rays of sunlight were lingering around. Angela had tears in her eyes and had her arm around Bella's waist. Bella had her arm over her shoulders. They got to Bella's house and went upstairs to her room.
"Why would she tell me from the start?"
"I don't know. Its all a mess now. When were they planning on telling us? When we were immortal and jad all our lives to deal with it? I should have just kissed you when I had the chance."
Bella pulled Angela into her arms and kissed her hard.
