Friday 13, and ending of memories
Carter's POV
Ten days of riding back home, eating the food from local inns and what ever I can get, and rest in barns and the rooms an inn can give, it wasn't long till I saw home, the capitol of the kingdom of the franks, I start to ride into the city and of to the castle of my family to seek the court of my brother, the Templar's must be stopped from doing the villainous crusade against semideums, I know that I must try to convince him for doing any thing against the Templar's, he knows that I am an assassin now these days but in the royal councils, meetings and other types occasions that are going on I must dress formally and I still have my colorful tunic and breeches. I arrived at the gates of the castle and I saw her, my beautiful wife, and the love of my life, Sofia,she came in rushing in and hugged me fiercely.
"Oh god I thought that you will never make it."
"It's ok my love I'm here now."
"I am happy that you are in one piece still."
"I am happy that you are safe... I must seek my brothers council now, cause there is a danger that is going to happen."
"Then we must hurry."
"go to our chambers Sofia, I want you to be safe there for now, cause I must do something."
"I will."
After that she went up to our chambers and I went strait away to change my self from my robes, as I got my formal clothes on I start to run to the Throne room, once I burst in I saw my brother King Phillip the fair on the throne, he knows that I have come for his audience.
"Ah Carter you are back from your crusade, come with me brother lets take a walk."
we went out side into the court yard, as we walked he has his attention all to me now.
"Well brother what does an assassin like you coming up to see my audience? (Jokingly) if you came here to kill please have mercy!"
"ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, you and your sense of humor, no I am not here to kill you."
"I know that you are not, but still you assassins are unpredictable."
"That we are but we are only focused on one enemy now."
"Yes I know."
"How are your children?"
"Going good, in fact my son Louise is is soon old enough to become king."
"I hope my eldest nephew becomes one to soon."
"I'm not planning to die yet."
"(sarcastically) Yeah and that is what has me worried."
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha now now brother don't be a nark, but you still haven't answered my question, why did you came to seek my audience?"
"I need your help with something."
"Name it!"
"I have a friend in the papal states."
"Ah yes the semideum that you were talking about to Sofia is that right?"
"How did you know?!"
"I accidentally read your letters, I didn't get the whole thing I swear."
"Ok, well yes she is a semideum in fact her friends are in danger."
"Then I will send in my knights and the Templar's."
"Brother the Templar's are the problem, they are going to destroy the ancient race!"
"Wait is that true?!"
"I swear it with my life!"
"Oh no this can't be true!"
"It is true, and if you will help me stop them somehow we can help you get out of your dept to them!"
"That could be a problem."
"Why?"
"The Templar's own their allegiance to the pope and so do I, but if I would do something to the Templar's I might get band from the church."
"Then do something with the pope, talk him into letting us do it, make a lie or something."
"Hmmmm you know the Templar's are very powerful are they?"
"Yes of course."
"Maybe if I say something to the of their power I could do something to them, but I may betray them."
"Don't worry it is I who will give them the betrayal, I have been taught in chivalry so I will betray my fellow knights."
"The Templar knight right?"
"Of coarse."
"Good but I need to talk to the pope, and I must try to convince him some how."
"I see, good luck brother."
Many years later the pope start to arrest the Templar's, all of them are going to be charged for heresy and betrayal, saying that they are to powerful, then on the year of 1314 on the day of Friday the thirteenth I was on a hill with my son Andre who has grown to a strong young boy, and my mentor of the assassins, The mentor said that we may never know who the Templar's will be again but informed him that we should put out spies and keep watch of their movements, but my son Andre is uneasy with what is going on.
"Father why are we burning these knights on stakes, isn't it wrong?"
"I know what you mean Andre, but these knights are Templar's, they have taken allot of power from the kings."
"But why are they burned on stakes?"
"Cause that is the sentence of heresy."
"What is heresy?"
"Heresy is when you do things that is against the church or other religions."
"I see."
"I know, and you are young to know every thing, so that is why I have take you to the greatest scholars, and one day you will be an assassin."
"Ok father."
I start to walk up to one of the stakes and on the stake that I went to is the Templar's last grand master Jacques de Molay (at leased we hope that he is the last) the grand master that try to get the order back to it's original order, so I went up to him for a small talk, as I went up to him he gave me his last words.
"I know who you are assassin, I know what you have done in order for this to happen, you make a king betray us, one day we will have our vengeance on all of your family member, every single last one."
"You'll try to do that, but I have a feeling that my bloodline will stop you before you do, and you will never see and know what the future holds... Rest in peace Templar."
After that I went up to the hill where Andre and our mentor are, they asked me what I did and told them that I give the Templar a last blessing, the mentor was fine with that, but what the Templar told me, somehow I believe it may happen, I must make sure this will never happen. while we were standing on the hill, the man with the torches came and they lit up the stakes, and the Templar's will be burning to ash, this may be their last straw as knights, men-at-arms, and warriors but they may come back, some of them are still alive and escaped their charges but we assassins will hunt them down.
Percy's POV
The scene start to change and I start to return to my regular self, my black hair is back to normal, and my own memories are back fully, I am my self again but I knew what will happen, when I will wake up I must find a way to escape, this is my only chance to survive and help my family to stay alive, although the Templar's have strength in numbers but with my new skills I will have a fighting chance, now I must wake up.
Out of the animus
As I woke up the Templar's start to jab of what will happen now, I knew that they will kill me but they must not do that, then two guards came in and grabbed me by the arms but I shook violently, let loose, and bang their skulls together, They lay there unconscious and I know that this is my chance so I took it, I bolted away out of the door and start to look for an exit, I have came in blindfolded by a bag over my head so looking for an exit will be hard. The hallways have led me to more Templar's but I knew that I must fight my way up, but then I spotted some thing on a table of weapons, they were mostly guns and there is one that is completely out of the ordinary, it is the concealed dagger that the assassins may have used, the silly thing was is that there are two of them, so I picked them up and put them on my arms and tested them, they are perfect for the escape as I stand there the alarm went of so I started running, I climbed up steep walls and went through the ventilation shaft, I crawled through the vents and then I got out in to a hallway, I knew that there are cameras so I must use cunning to get my self out of here.
Octavian's POV
My glory went way back, my family have been sending us to camp Jupiter for generations as officers and augurs, I have always know that I will be a praetor so I set up a reputation, then it start to crumble, first Jason set out declared war on the Titans so the Legion went to the Titans headquarters and we crumbled it, mys reputation for praetor was gone after they raised him on a shield, then he disappeared so then I knew that I may have the chance to be a praetor, but then the upstart son of Neptune Percy Jackson came in with amnesia and he has made the reputation of being a graecus, then during the war games he showed that he is a skilled and experienced veteran for an amnesiac, the he went on a quest to free death with Frank the clumsy newly made centurion and the cavalry sword wielding girl Hazel, then he came back with the eagle and they became heroes of Rome, and Percy became praetor so I must find a new way to get to power, and that possibility happened with the war ship, I knew the Greeks were still out their plotting our down fall and then Jason made friends with the Greeks and he went on a quest to the ancient lands, it was forbidden to go there but they risked them selves to be traitors and outlaws, as we were closing in on the Greeks they came back alive, I wanted to kill them all but the said that the war is over, and the Athena Parthenons is back with the Greeks, then they banished me for being a warlord, I knew that I must get my vengeance but I didn't know is that they have joined in a union and I must think of recruiting an army that the legion will never beat, and instead of recruiting the army that I was looking for recruited me, I told him who I am and that I wanted to take New Rome, then it was a greater success, one man said that they were now looking for a descendant of an assassin called Carter Le Hard, so we start to search through his blood line and Percy came, so we start to take him, after we met again I found out that he has a daughter, she seems to sweet and young to be killed but is doesn't matter now, as they were looking through the memories I was getting impatient but hey assured me that it will en in any way, The animus will go faster than the normal years but still it took a few weeks, now I'm in the office of the grand master, he seems a nice host for me.
"You really want to kill him your self?"
"Yes he has done many things that made me look like a fool."
"Don't worry Octavian we will get it back for you, the final assault will start soon but we must wait."
"I know but this must hurry up."
"Patience you will get your reve... wait. (aside) what is it Anthony?!"
"It's Jackson he has escaped."
"What?! Raise the alarm, get him here and I'll let Octavian kill him."
"Yes sir."
"Octavian we must get that man and put him to his knees."
"I know, he seems to get more tough right now."
The grand master pick up a gun from his drawer and gave it to me, since I'm the one who will kill him it will be quick and with pain.
Percy's POV
Many Templar's were coming strait at me so I must get out of here now, my family is in danger and I must protect them, My girlfriend Annabeth and our daughter Celeste must be safe, even the Legion must learn to fight against the Templar's, I must look for the assassins and bring them to camp, if they can teach them to fight the way of the assassins we may have fighting chance and way to defeat our enemies, even if they taught us their fighting methods we may survive the monsters, but now I must escape. I ran through the hallways killing many men the came into my sight, as I hit the lobby Octavian came through a door with a pistol pointing at me, as he did I was reminded of my quest to free Artemis (but I really came for Annabeth), it reminded me when the Spartuses of Atlas are pointing guns at me, Bianca, Zoe, Grover, and Thalia, and one shot at me, but now it is Octavian who is pointing a gun at me, and now I'm doomed.
"How you doing graecus, jeez loos close and weapons, where are they when you need them? I have decided that I would rather make your daughter as my ally is stead of killing her, she seems to sweet, cute, and innocent to be killed, but you, your friends, and your girlfriend I won't spare them but look here, smile and wait for the flash."
What he meant by flash he means the shot of the gun, I thought that this is it then a large light came through the dark windows and guns start to fire at us, it shattered most of the glass but it made Octavian retreat, the shots were mostly going to Octavian and I knew that this is my chance, then I saw Nico beckoning for me to get in, so I start to run to the van, the guys with the guns were wearing hoods to hide their faces and the have the symbol of the assassins on their back, the same symbol, as I got in we start to ride away and I could hear Octavian scream.
"Jacksoooooooooooooon!"
I was happy to be free from the Templar claws, Nico saved my again and repaid me again after what I did for him, he may be a loner still but at leased he is going great with his social skills, he has lots to learn still but he will become a great demigod which he already is but he will live a good life.
"Thanks Nico."
"No sweat Percy."
"I don't know how you did it but you did great."
"Thank you."
"And who are these guys?"
"They are the assassins, they have come to help us."
"Can we convince their boss to help us with the Templar's and Octavian?"
"We can I have all ready done it."
"You never cease to amaze me, next time try to find a different way to save me instead of spraying bullets."
"Jeez please don't say thing like that, you are the closest thing I have for a father."
"Yeah but you still have a father like I do."
"I know but you are the one that is more of father to me these days."
"I know but we must hurry, camp will be under attack and if we don't do anything to help em we will get killed."
"You're right... Hey Victor can you speed this piece of junk up?!"
"(Russian accent) I will Nico, we will get ready for this."
After that Victor start to go faster and start to speed like a maniac, I know that this is against the law but if you are a demigod you might have to break it a few times, camp is in danger and so is my family, we must bring this war to an end and it must be done, the spear must stay thrown until it is all over, now the fate of camp rest in the hands of a brotherhood of mortal assassins who may be serving the gods.
