Chapter 18
Previously:
" Like I said I have no Idea what you're talking about. " She snarls keeping the attention on her while we get closer to them. Prim stand behind one of them and I stand behind the one that had the knife to Jo's throat and Haymitch stays outside the door so they can see him if anything goes wrong he'll come in and help. I finally make my presence known.
Katniss POV:
" I'd recommend you to put the knife down and go while you can still walk." I threaten. Startled they turn around to face us. I gasp at who is in front of me.
Brown eyes, from the mall.
" You were there at the mall that day, that kept staring at me and following us." i state more to myself than them. Out of the corner of my eye I can feel Prim giving me a side ways confused look because I never told her, now I have a lot of explaining to do when we get home. the guy in front of me with his black short hair and brown eyes cracks a smile.
" Ah, look who presented herself to us. The one and only Katniss Everdeen." he says as if it's humorous. I try to hide my shock at how he found out it was us and keep the emotional mask up.
" I don't know what you're talking about." I say dumbly. He shakes his head and clicks his tongue.
" Tsk, tsk, tsk, theirs no reason to lie to us. We know all about you. You want to know how we found you? Well ever since the mall we couldn't find out were you lived, but we knew where your school was and so we thought we would go after your friend we always saw you with. So we would watch her go home and saw who lived with her. Since her aunt-" he points at Johanna, " is a druggy she won't question anything we ask. So we paid her and she told us all we she knew. So to not cause suspicions her aunt asked her questions and she came back to us saying you're going by the names of 'Rose' and ' Sophia' and that you came from Spain. So of course we made a move soon by Seneca's orders and he wants her alive when we bring him in. So he can draw you in, but I guess it's unnecessary now that you brought yourselves to us." he laughs. I glare at him, there is nothing funny going on. " You want to know what the funniest thing is? Of course you do, we have your dad let's just say he's wounded terribly and might not make it back to his two precious daughters." he fakes pouts. My eyes go wide and I feel Prim go rigid. I feel my temper coming. In one swift movement I punch him in the face and have him pinned against the wall. I'm much shorter than him so I have to stand on my tippy toes to reach his ear.
" Where the hell are they keeping my father." I whisper threateningly. He just laughs struggling to get free. I put my knife to throat. " Let me remind you that you don't know who your messing with. I could kill you right now, but that wouldn't do because I want you to deliver a message for me to this Seneca you call a boss. Tell him if he wants me then he's gonna have to come and get me because I'm not just going to hand the drive over to him. He's going to have to find me if he wants it." I say and I can tell he's scared because I'm actually a little afraid of myself right now, but he's not gonna give up and I know it.
" He's going to kill you and your father when he's done with you, you think you're so tough. Just wait and see you'll be nothing when he's through with you." he laughs strained. I growl at him dangerously.
" You wanna bet? I'm going to find him and my father." I say.
" I would love to see you try." he says.
" You won't be able to." I say and hit him with the back of my knife. I step back from him and watch as he falls to the ground. I know I hit him hard, but he gets right back up and charges after me with his knife in his hand. He swings and it cuts my upper arm. The next swing i dunk out-of-the-way and hit him in the stomach. He steps back and lunges at me again this time angrier. I catch his hand just as it gets to my face and twist it behind his back and make him drop the knife. I kick his legs out from under him and push him onto his stomach. Before he can get up I jump on to his back and grab a fist full of his hair. I pin his arms down with my knees and he starts to struggle. I laugh at this, but it isn't humorous its deadly.
" I don't understand why your even trying." I muse in his ear.
" Your going to die, just watch you think we haven't seen that boy you've been with. We'll go after him next." he laugh madly. This just pisses me off.
" You stay the hell away from. Let me see you near him and I will kill you if it's the last thing I do asshole." I threaten and then smash his head into the ground. " Let me find one hair out-of-place on his head and you'll be sorry. " another smash to the ground. I can hear him groan in pain. I pick his head back up. " And one last thing, when you wake up, find Seneca and tell him what I said." I don't give him a chance to speak as I smash his head one last time and I feel his body go limp. I stand up breathing heavily. I look around me and see Prim trying to get Johanna out of her restraints and her guy on the floor unconscious just like mine. I turn to see Haymitch checking their wallets and going through their phones. I walk over to where Prim is and help her out with Johanna. I cut the last of the rope that was on her and help her stand up.
" I want to know what the hell is going on." Jo states. " Who the hell are you two." She crosses her arms waiting for an explanation.
" Johanna right now is not the time, bring your ass now. " I command her as I walk to the door. She huffs and stays where she is.
" Stubborn ass." I mutter under my breath and walk over to her. " Do you trust me?" I ask her once I'm in front of her. She looks around the room and then back at me and nods her head. " Then trust me when I say nothing is going to happen to you. Come with me before thing 1 and thing 2 wakes up. " I say softly. She nods and I grab her hand and we all leave her apartment. Before we go out the door I check to see if there is anything or anybody outside and satisfied that there isn't we go out. We past a black car and Haymitch stops in front of it.
" What the hell are you doing?" Prim ask him. He doesn't answer and just takes out a pair of keys and hits the unlock button on it. I see what he's doing its the people's car. He sets the keys on the hood and then takes out a gun. Is he trying to get the cops out here.
" Haymitch unless you brought a silent gun then you better put that away." I command him impatiently. He rolls his eyes and then takes out each of the tires on the car without making any noise. He then looks at me.
" See sweetheart I know what I'm doing." He says smugly. I fight the urge to roll my eyes at him and tug on Jo's hand and we keep walking until we get to the Jeep. I get in the driver's seat and Prim gets in the passengers and Haymitch and Johanna get in the back. We leave and go a different direction than the way we came just in case always better to be safe than sorry.
We get back to my house 10 minutes later because I took a lot of turns. I park in the garage and we all get out and go inside. We take off our gloves and put them on the counter and place our knives down. I take off my shoes and wave everybody over to the basement. I put my hand on the door and it scan it. Normally I wouldn't have to do this because Haymitch would be the first one down here to unlock the door for us. Once the door is unlocked every gets inside and Haymitch closes the door behind us.
" Alright tell me everything. What the hell is this place." Jo says looking around at all the weapons then looks at us.
" Jo, everything we told you was a lie, well most of it." I say. She just looks at us.
" Well of course brainless. " she deadpans., " Who the hell are you and don't just give me some rubbish shit, I want the full truth." she demands. I sigh and I see Haymitch crack a smile on his face and this makes me roll my eyes at him.
" What do you want yo know first ?" I ask throwing my hands up in the air.
" How about your names for starters." She says crossing her arms.
" My name is Katniss Rosabella Snow-Everdeen." I tell her my full name.
" And mines is Primrose Giovanna Snow-Everdeen." Prim says. Jo nods
" OK, now that, that is out-of-the-way. Tell me what really happen to your parents. " she says.
" Our mom is dead, she died in that car accident we told you about. That part was real except for our dad being there because he wasn't. Katniss was in a coma for two months and she woke up a week before they were going to take her off life support. She has trouble remembering long-term memories and little things." Prim explains.
" OK, I know that. So who is this then?" She points at Haymitch. He raises his eyebrows at her.
" Well sugar, I'm their Uncle and you know Effie the school teacher well she's my wife. The principle of your school is my dad and their Granddad along with Peeta's." He explains.
" Is that why you guys barely get in trouble?" She ask. We nod. " and why your always kissing Peeta's cheeks and having him over all the time?" We nod
" Like I said it's an Italian thing with the kisses." I say, she nods.
" Wow. And You kept ALL of this from me. I thought we were best friends." She says somewhat hurt. I start to feel guilty.
" It was for your own good. We had to keep a low profile." Prim says. Jo rolls her eyes.
" Low profile my ass. Now tell me everything why your here." She demands.
After we get done explaining everything to her, she just stands there staring at us shocked.
" Hello anybody home?" I ask waving my hand in her face. She snaps out of her shocked state and looks at me. Then out of no where she slaps me right across my face and then does the same thing to Prim.
" Oww..What the hell was that for." Prim and I say at the same time holding our cheeks.
" That was for keeping this from me for so long. " she says nonchalantly. I roll my eyes at her while I hear Haymitch snicker. I shoot him a glare and he just shrugs not affected by it.
" So this is where you train?" She us looking around again.
" Yeah , every morning and night." I answer.
" What did you guys look like before you came here?" She ask looking at us.
" My natural hair color is blonde and my eyes are blue." Prim says first. " I look like my mom and Kat looks like our dad." I nod my head.
" Yeap, brunette hair and grey eyes. We get our height from our mother." I say.
" So is that why both of your eyes aren't brown now because you're not wearing your contacts?" She ask. I look at Prim and sure enough we're not even wearing them I guess we forgot.
" Yea, that's why." I say.
" Well since that is all out-of-the-way, where the hell am I suppose to be staying for now on and what about my little brother." she ask seriously. I look at Haymitch for this one.
" You and your little brother can stay here with us. So we'll get him tomorrow and get you guys situated." He says. I nod.
" I can replace your clothes and phone so until then you can borrow mine. I guess we can go tomorrow?" I ask.
" Yeah, that's fine." she sighs.
" Any questions you have?" Prim ask.
" Who all knows about this?" She ask.
" Well lets see. Their's you, Haymitch, Effie, our Granddad Snow, Cinna, Portia, and Peeta. " I count each of them off my fingers.
" Other teacher's know?" She asks shocked.
" Yea, when we first got here we had to get a make over and Cinna and Portia know Haymitch and they did it for us." I say, she nods in understanding.
" So Finnick doesn't know yet and neither does Rory?" She ask. We shake our heads. " They're going to find out sooner than later." She states.
" We know. I there anything else?" I ask wanting to get off that topic.
" I want to help." She states. We stare at her.
" Johanna, you can't-" I start to say, but she cuts me off.
" Don't give me that bullshit I said I want to help." She says defiantly. I sigh looking at Haymitch for help.
" Alright, you can help but you're going to have to work harder than they do since your just now starting." He says. I glare at him, so much for helping out.
" Whatever." I mutter and cross my arms.
" I think we're going to need the extra help with Kat's condition." Prim says, but then she realizes what she just said and covers her hand with her mouth staring at me wide-eyed while I look at her with my mouth hanging open.
" What did you just say?" Haymitch ask her.
" N-nothing I said nothing." She said.
" No, I heard what you said and I want to now what you ment by it now." He commands her. I just stand there in utter shock.
" It ment nothing Uncle, I swear." she says. He sighs and drops it.
" Fine." He looks over at me scrutinizing me closely trying to figure it out. " Go to bed." He says finally. We nod and head out of the basement. We go upstairs and into Prim's room.
" Really Prim." I whisper shout at her with Johanna in the room.
" I'm sorry it just slipped out. " She defends while I glare at her. Jo interrupts us.
" What are you two talking about exactly?" She ask perplexed. I hesitate for a moment, but then figured she's living with us now so she's bound to find out. I go into the bathroom and grab the test and hand it to. She looks confused at first, but once she notices what it is, she opens her mouth getting ready to yell. I clamp both of my hands over her mouth and her yell gets muffled.
" Yes, it's true Jo. Now please don't shout Haymitch can't know." I plead. She nod and I take my hands away from her mouth.
" How?" she ask. I roll my eyes.
" Oh let's see. When a boy and a girl-" I start to sarcastically say, but she cuts me off.
" I didn't mean it like that brainless. I ment how long have you been, you know." she says.
" 6 weeks. " I say. She nods
" OK, and does Finnick know or some shit?" She ask. I sheepishly shake my head,
" Well you have to tell him. Who all knows?" She demands.
" You don't think I now that Jo and Just us that's in this room I just found out not to long ago before you called us." I say.
" Are you going to keep it?" She ask.
" Of course I am. " I say slightly offended. She puts her hands up in mock surrender.
" Hey, I was just asking a question. " She defends.
" Sorry." I mutter.
" Hey you guys let's get some sleep. It's been a long day and tomorrow is going to be tiring because we have to go to the mall and get Jo some stuff. " Prim says. We nod and all get under the covers in Prim 's room. Prim shuts the lights off and we soon drift to sleep.
I'm the first to wake up and I look to see what time it was 1:00. Haymitch must have let us sleep in because of everything yesterday. I sigh and get out of bed and stretch me limbs. I look and see Prim and Jo still sleeping so I quietly make my way out of the room and then go down stairs. I find Finnick sitting on a stool and Sae frying some chicken stripes.
" Hey Finnick, what are you doing here?" I ask him wrapping my arms around his middle. He jumps surprised and turns around.
" Hey Princess you scared me and Haymitch let me in an hour ago and I told you I would come by after I had to leave last night." he turns around and gives me a kiss on the forehead.
" Oh, ok well Jo is here and we are going to the mall. Can you come?" I ask looking up at him.
" Sure." he smiles then it turns into a frown as he takes my face in his hands bringing it closer.
" What are you during?" I ask him perplexed.
" Your eyes they aren't light brown. They're grey. Are you wearing contacts.?" He ask, I freeze, shit how could I forget to put them on. Well duh maybe because you didn't think he would be here. I think to myself.
" Umm.. these are contacts. I bought them with Jo and she was saying how I would look good in them. " I lie through my teeth, but he seems to accept this and kisses my lips.
" I like them. " he says and I let go of him
" Hey Sae. " I say to her sitting on one of the stools.
" Hey darling. I' m cooking this for you guys when you wake up sine it's already past lunch time. " She says and I nod.
" Alright, I'll go wake the girls up. " I say and get up and give Finnick a kiss and go back up stars into Prim's room. I find them still asleep. I go over to the bed and slap both of them on the butt and laugh at how they both wake up at the same time with an annoyed expression.
" You know you could have woke us up in a more appropriate way. You perverted bastard. " Johanna mutters.
" I think Finnick's rubbing off on her." Prim mumbles getting out of bed. I laugh silently.
" No he isn't. I just thought it'd be funny." I say amused.
" Whatever," They both mutter under their breath.
" Is there a reason why you woke us up in the first place." Jo ask still in bed.
" Why yes there is. Sae is cooing us lunch before we go to the mall to get your stuff. So we need to take a shower and all that." I explain.
" Fine, Can I bring Gale with us?" she ask. I shrug.
" I honestly don't care because I'm going to bring Finnick since he's already here and who knows if Prim will bring Rory." I say picking up my phone and hand it to Jo so she can call Gale.
" After you done, go into the guest bathroom and take a shower and then go into mine for some clothes." I tell her walking out of the room. I go into my room and find Finnick sprawled out on my bed.
" I'm going to take a shower." I tell him.
" OK, beautiful." he says softly. I go over to my dresser and take out a thong since Finnick complains about how I barely wear them and then take out a matching peach bra. I walk over to the bathroom and close the door. I turn the shower on and set my underwear down. I strip and get in and start to wash up. I wince as soap goes over a cut I forgot about last night. I rinse and dry off and then pull my underwear on and walk to my closet. I put on a pair of light blue jeans, a grey Bob Marley shirt that I stole from Finnick, and a pair of grey sandals not really wanting to wear shoes. I pull my hair in a ponytail not wanting to deal with it. I put deodorant on and push my teeth. I did my make up and put my contacts back in and walk out of the bathroom.
" You know I was looking for that shirt." Finnick says from my bed. I go over to him and sit on the bed and pull his head in my lap.
" Oh really?" I ask.
" Yea, but I'm glad you have it now because everything looks better on you." He says and I blush and push his head slightly.
" Whatever." I say and comb my fingers through his hair.
" You know, I really need a hair cut." He says.
" No !" I practically shout at him and he looks at me crazy, " I mean no, I like it like this, it gives me something to hold on to." I say, he smirks and I can already tell what he is thinking so I smack his chest. " Not like that, so get your mind out of the gutter." I blush again. He just laughs and rubs his chest.
" Okay, gosh no need to get violent and bruise my body." He teases. I roll my eyes and push his head off my lap.
" Whatever Fish Boy. Let's goes eat." I say and get off the bed. Finnick springs up suddenly and grabs my waist.
" Whoa. Don't think I'm not going to notice." He purrs.
" Notice what?" I ask confused until he lifts my shirt up slightly and pulls at my thong and it snaps back on my hip. Now I get it.
" Are you trying to torture me? I notice when you got up that you didn't have any underwear lines in your jeans. " He purrs again. " Did you do this just to tease me?" He ask seductively.
" Maybe, maybe not. " I smirk. I hear him groan and then he slaps my ass and squeezes it.
" Oh, you are so getting it tonight." He says keeping his hand on my ass, as we walk out of my room and downstairs. We see Jo and Prim already eating at the table. I get my plate of chicken strips that Sae has out for me and tell her Finnick and I will share. I put Ranch dressing on the side and we walk over to the table. I sit down and Finnick gives me my drink which is sweet tea. I smile in thanks and he sits down beside me and takes a piece of chicken.
" Well, looks like I'll be seeing a lot of you Fish Boy" Jo smirks, Finnick raises his eye brow at her.
" And why is that?" He ask
" I live here now. " She smiles.
" I knew you liked me Jo. I knew you couldn't stay away." He purrs at her at his seat. I smack his arm. " Ow..Jeez I was just playing, no need to get physical..." He trails off. " Actually I would love it if we got physical.." He purrs at me running his hand up my thigh. I roll my eyes and smack his hand away. He makes a pout face that I just roll my eyes at.
" Knock it off." I sigh hating how he looks like a hurt puppy with his big sea green eyes.
" You know you're the only one for me Princess." He teases but knowing he's speaking the truth.
" I better be or you'd be six feet under." I smile sweetly at him and kiss him and continue to eat.
" Anyways, the guys should be here in like 2 minute lets hurry up." Prim says. We nod and I push the rest of my food to Finnick and go back up stairs to get my shoulder bag with my wallet in it. I come back down just in time when the door bell rings.
" I got it." I yell and go to the door. I open it and see a woman.
" May I help you." I ask politely.
" Where the hell is Johanna." She shouts.
" I don't know who you're talking about. I would like you to get off my property." I say sternly.
" Don't give me that bullshit, I know she's here. Bring the little bitch to me." She says angrily, she is obviously drunk.
" Look ma'am, I will ask you one last time to get off my property or I'll throw you off it. Either way is fine with me." I shrug coolly leaning against the door frame.
" I wouldn't do that if I were you . I don't think that would be a pretty site for little Hunter." She says smiling creepily. I feel my body freeze how did she get Jo's little brother. Now I see how she found out where I live because Hunter has my address in case of emergencies and he wouldn't give it willingly to her, so she must have done something to him.
" Where is he." I ask through clench teeth, closing the door behind me now stepping outside. I look around keeping my distance from this crazy woman who must be Jo's drug addict Aunt. I see a car in the drive way and I see Hunter in the back seat , but his head is down.
" He's none of your concern. " She smiles. " Now bring me Johanna." She yells. The door opens behind me and I see Haymitch and Johanna step out.
" What's going on here sweetheart." Haymitch ask keeping his eyes on the crazy lady.
" What the hell are you doing here?" Jo shouts stepping up to her.
" Haymitch, she's Jo's crazy aunt and she's was looking for Jo and she has her little brother in the car." I whisper as Jo keeps yelling at her aunt.
" Go get him and I'll deal with this." He whispers back. I nod and see Jo swing at her Aunt. Oh lord Hunter doesn't need to see this, I think to myself. I make my way quickly to the car and open the door. I kneel and put my hands on Hunters leg.
" Hunter." I say softly. His head snaps up and he moves away from me. I see he has a black eye and a busted lip. i swear under my breath and try to remain calm. He is only 12, who would hit a child like this.
" Hunter, its me Rose. I won't hurt you." I softly say. He looks at me for the first time and realizes it's me and throws he's arms around my neck and break down crying.
" Shh..It's ok. Your ok now, your going to come live with me and never see that woman again. I'm going to take you inside now, but keep your head down until we are in the house, okay?" I ask. I feel him nod in my neck so I put his legs around my waist and hoist him up. I get up from my kneeling position and walk towards the back of my house away from the commotion. It's a shame at how light he feels like he only ways 40 pounds and how skinny he is. I get to the backyard and open the gate. I close it behind me and walk my way to the back door of the house. I open it and close it once I'm inside. I go straight to the kitchen and find Sae.
" Sae, I need you to help fix him up please." I say to her. She just nods and goes to get the first aid kit. I sit Hunter down on the counter and put my hands on his face so I can look at him.
" OK , your safe now. Sae is going to fix you up while I'm gone. I'll bring Johanna to you." I say softly while wiping away his tears. He nods and Sae comes back. I give him a kiss on the forehead and leave the kitchen. Finnick comes up to me when he see's me.
" Rose, are you ok ?" He ask worried
" Finnick, I'm fine it's just Jo's crazy aunt. She hit Hunter." I say, he doesn't look surprised because he knows how Jo's aunt is.
" I'll watch him while your gone." He sighs. I nod and give him a kiss on the cheek and walk past him. I find Prim looking out the window.
" So , you were just going to stand here and not do anything?" I ask her crossing my arms.
" I was going to go out, but Haymitch told me to stay inside." she shrugs.
"Well, I need your help so come on." I say and open the door. I see Haymitch trying get Johanna off of her aunt. I shake my head at the scene in front of me, this is unnecessary. I go over to where Johanna is.
" JOHANNA MARIA MASON, IF YOU DO NOT STOP RIGHT NOW, SO HEP ME GOD I WILL TELL GALE EVERYTHING" I shout at her. She stops mid punch and turns to me wide-eyed knowing I'm not joking. While she's distracted Prim helps up her aunt and holds her.
" Finally," I say exasperated while throwing my hands up in the air.
" She deserved it. I swear I'll kill her if she ever touches Hunter again." Jo roars.
" You both were good for nothing kids. Always eating up my damn food and breathing my damn air." Her drunk aunt yells. She was about to continue to talk until I punched her right in the mouth.
" Nobody told you to fucking talk." I growl at her. Jo raises an eye brow at me basically saying ' I could have done that' I roll my eyes, but can't help the smug smile that comes across my face because I've been waiting for this day to hit her bitch of an aunt in the face for all the shit she does.
" What she had it coming." I say smugly shrugging at Jo. I turn back around to face the drunk woman.
" This will be the last time I say this. Get the fuck off my property or get thrown off it." I say to her crossing my arms smirking.
" You can't throw me off your property you weak piece of s-" she doesn't get to finish because I punch her again and then out of no where Gale comes up behind and puts Prim to the side and lifts Jo's aunt off the ground and throw her over his shoulder. She starts to scream Bloody Mary. Gale comes back 5 minutes later alone. I sigh in relief.
" Thank fuck." I sigh and Jo nods in agreement while Haymitch lets her go. She goes up to Gale and they start to have an intense make out session in front of all of us.
" Oh gosh, I think I'm scarred for life." I groan covering my face with my hands.
" OK, ok I think we get the point that you are so thankful for his help, but you don't need to eat off his face in front of us" Prim teases.
" Fuck you." Jo mutters pulling her lips away from Gales who has a shit eating grin on his face.
" No, do that to him." Rory teases then adds. " Looks like someones getting their dick sucked tonight" he teases. " Lucky bitch." he mutters under his breath. Prim smacks his arm.
" OK, TMI. Please I don't want to know about that." Haymitch says in disgust, we all laugh at his reaction
" Oh please Haymitch don't act lick Effie never gave you head before." Gale smirks. I'm mortified by the picture that just popped up in my head.
" Eww.. I think I just scarred myself with that mental images." I say appalled..
" Well it's true." Rory comments.
" Alright, that's it I'm done I'll be inside." Prim states walking to the door. I follow behind her, but not before catching the smug grin on Haymitch's face. Everybody else comes in after us and we go into the kitchen where Finnick and Hunter is. Hunter's face light's up when he see's Jo and he gets off the counter and goes to her. Finnick comes and wraps his arms around my waist.
" What does your face look like it's just been horrified." He ask.
" Because it has. They put the picture of Haymitch getting head from Effie." I say in disgust. Finnick laughs loudly.
" That's disgusting. " He laughs. I nod.
" I know." I shudder.
" Hey guys, Are we still going to the mall because I need my stuff." Jo ask.
" Yeah, let's go. It's already 2: 33. " I sigh. They all nod.
" What about Hunter?" Prim ask.
" The boy needs to go because he needs new clothes too. Sophia will buy his clothes." Haymitch informs us. We nod.
" Alright, let's go. Rose, Sophia, Rory and I will ride in their Jeep and Jo, Gale and Hunter will rise in Gale's car. " Finnick say. We all nod again and we get ready to leave.
We get to the mall with no problems and park beside each other and we all get out.
" So why are we here again?" Gale ask. Jo and I look at each other having a quiet conversation.
" Jo's aunt sold all her clothes and now I'm buying her new ones and the same goes for Hunter." I lie.
" That bitch." Gale says.
" Let's not dwell on it. " Jo say. Gale nods and wraps his arm around her shoulders bringing her close to him.
" So Rose, Jo, Gale and I will go as a group and Sophia, Rory, and Hunter will go as a group. Sound good?" Finnick as intertwining our fingers together as we all walk into the mall.
" Yea sounds fine. " Prim say. We nod and slip up saying we will meet each other in 2 hours in the food court.
Gale, Jo, Finnick, and I leave to go to the phone store. Jo gets the same phone and a case and I pay for everything. After that we go from store to store buying her clothes.
We're on a bench resting for a bit from all the walk and I'm glad I haven't felt like I was being watched. I get snapped out of my thoughts by Finnick running his finger over the cut I got from the knife last night.
" Babe, when did you get this? It looks fresh." Finnick ask. I rack my brain for something until Jo speaks up for me.
" Oh, that's nothing Rose and I was play fighting and I accidentally scratched her. " She says nonchalantly. I mentally tell myself to thank her when we get home.
" Gosh Johanna, you didn't have to scar up my girlfriends beautiful body." Finnick says with fake annoyance. Jo shrugs.
" She had it coming. " She smirks. I roll my eyes.
" Lets just go meet the Sophia and the others and get out of this place. " I mutter standing up and pulling Finnick with me.
We left the mall after meeting up with everybody and stuffing all the bags in the cars. We all get to me house and we get out taking all the bags to Jo's and Hunter's new room.
" Thank Rose. " Hunter says. I smile at him and poke his stomach he laughs.
" Don't thank me. I think of you like my little brother I never had. " I tell him. He smiles and hugs me. I hug him back and then he goes to start putting his clothes away.
" Come down stairs when your ready to eat." I tell him and turn to leave catching him nod. I close his door behind me and go into Jo's room.
" Hey Jo, thanks for backing me up at the mall." I say sincerely. She shrugs.
" No problem, you would have done the same for me." She says. I nod.
" Alright, I'll be down stairs to tell Finnick bye. Remember training starts in the morning at 6 sharp don't be late. " I state walking out the door. Her room is beside mine. I go downstairs and see Finnick waiting for me.
" Hey. " I sigh wrapping my arms around his waist and burying my head in his chest. He wraps his arms around my shoulder.
" Hey, I'm staying over right?" He ask.
" I don't know are you? You never mentioned it. " I pick my head up and arch my eye brow at him. He chuckles.
" Well can I ?" he ask.
" Since when have I ever denied you anything?" I ask him. He shrugs.
" There is always a first for everything." he says. I nod.
" Hey if Pretty Boy over here is staying the night then I'm staying to. " Gale yells from the living room.
" I second that." Rory yells. I laugh ad roll my eyes.
" Take that up with your girlfriends because it isn't my problem." I yell back laughing. Finnick shakes his head as Gale and Rory run past us and up the stairs to their girlfriends rooms.
" I swear they act like little kids sometimes." I say.
" I agree. " Finnick says.
" Oh God." I say realizing something and bury my head back in Finnick's chest.
" What?" He laughs.
" I just realized that Jo's room is beside mine and Gale is staying over and they are going to be at it like wild animals. " I groan. This just makes Finnick laugh louder. I roll my eyes in his chest even thought he can't see it.
" I can feel you rolling your eyes at me. " he states.
" Good." I say and we make our way upstairs and go into my room. We get in my room and I close the door behind us.
" What, we aren't eating?" Finnick ask. I shake my head.
" No, I'm not hungry lets take a shower and go to sleep." I plead. He smiles and nods. We go in to the bathroom and take a shower. We get out and Finnick goes to my drawers to get something to wear since he's been spending most of his nights over here, I've made him a drawer for his clothes. He puts them on and we get into bed. I snuggle close to him and he wraps his arms around my stomach if only he knew what was growing there, I think to myself. I begin to drift off into sleep when I hear Finnick.
" I love you Princess." he whispers and kisses me.
" I love you to Fish Boy." I mumble and hear him chuckle as I drift off to sleep.

So I am keeping Katniss Pregers. I know most of you don't like it, but I promise you that I will make every chapter make up for it.
Sorry for leaving you guys hanging on that cliffy I just been doing a lot since I'm on break from school. Anyways thank you for all of your reviews and liking my story. I appreciate it very much.
I will not abandon this story, if that is what some of you are thinking when I don't update it's just that I need a laptop for myself because my brother always haves it and I hate updating from my phone.
I hope you guys liked this chapter, next chapter will be up sometime next week or the week after that one because I have a lot of test coming up when I go back to school, but I will try to update as often as I can.
The story is just getting started I have a lot more to come.
