Assault, reunion, and preparations

Percy's POV

This is the time for us to get the Templar's out of the camp, time for us to hit them by surprise, and more importantly it's time for me to see my family, I have been gone for a few days and they are probably worried out of their mind. We loaded up in vans and every one are dressed like a swat team, tactical vests, Kevlar armor, and also they are wearing hoods, some have a few rifles and sub machine guns, and most of them have the blade braces, the preferred assassination and killing tool of the assassins, and others have modern crossbows, compound bows, and some have swords, axes, knives, cop shields, and batons clubs, as for Nico he has put on a black hoody and his Stygian iron sword at his side, and he has been given the assassin blade braces, like the one of mine, the braces are made of leather, once we came back I must ask Leo and the Hephaestus kids to make metal braces with these blades hidden in them. When the vans are loaded the garage doors open and we ride out, leaving the safe house and on our way to camp, as we rode Nico and I are becoming nervous, what if we were to late? what if New Rome is already destroyed? I know that the borders are magical but still, if the Templar's penetrated the border then we are in serious trouble, though Victor (the guy who drove me and Nico to the safe house) tried to put our morality rate high by a conversation.

"(Russian accent) come on boy be happy, you will be home."

"I know that Victor but I'm worried about my girlfriend and my daughter."

"Ah I see, I have had the same problem."

"You did?!"

"Yeah but in fact I was to late to safe my girlfriend."

"So Victor what happened?"

"We were together for a few weeks, then she got captured by a Templar, I came to rescue but I was to late, received a mortal bullet wound, her sister was sad to here that she is dead."

He had a sister?"

"Yeah, and she knew of my grief as well, until then she and I did something we never expected to do."

"Which is?"

"It is tradition for an assassin to marry the person who we loved, even if that is the sibling of the person if he or she is deceased."

"So you are to the sister?"

"That I am, yes."

"So we are both worried of our family huh?"

"That we are, and when will you marry?"

"I don't know cause I haven't proposed yet."

"I see."

"But I want to have a good peaceful life, I don't want to be in wars or anything like that, all I wanted know is to be a good father and a good husband, and live a happy life"

"That's a goal that allot of fathered husbands have."

"I know but I still need to get Octavian down, and I will need my friends to help me."

"I see, you want to kill the man who captured you huh?"

"Yeah, and he made a few mistakes now."

"What kind of mistakes?"

"The ones that have me involved as a prisoner."

"Oh I get it."

"Thank you... Victor."

"What?"

"Tell the others that we are going to give the Templar's a nasty surprise."

"I will."

So he told every one that we will make a unexpected, unpleasant, and nasty surprise, a few days drive is what we need in order to arrive at our destination. Although we will not let the Templar's know what we are planing, we will let the camp know when the time is ripe for us to bring the fight to the Templar's, now I am ready for any thing that will try to harm me or my family, but now I am hoping that Annabeth and Celeste are alright, and I hope that they are safe.

Annabeth's POV

It was nearly a week since Percy left, I learned of Celeste's dream vision and I have given Nico an Iris message, and from him I have learned that he has been captured and he is on his way to rescue him, I hope that he has rescued him, I can't have Celeste live a life without a father and I certainly can't stand him dying, I hope that he will come home soon and in one piece. I was setting out the laundry while I was thinking about Percy, then Celeste came in the room, I don't know what is wrong but she is full of worry.

"Mommy when is daddy coming home?"

"I don't know Sweetheart."

"Do you think he will be safe?"

"I hope so, in fact I am very worried about him, I hope that he will come back in one piece, the prophecy said that he must search through his blood line, I don't know of Percy's ancestry but why does it have to do with the new enemy we have to face?"

"Uh mommy what is ancestry?"

"Ancestry has something to do with your ancestors, an ancestor is some one who is part of you family but they are very old, say like our grandparents grandparents."

"So daddy's ancestor must have done something with these men in the old times?"

"Maybe but probably many years ago, maybe before we came into the world."

"Ok."

Celeste is very smart, she has inherited my brains but she has her fathers mischief, even when Percy is home she tend to get in all sorts of trouble, she might have gotten some times in trouble but still she is my daughter. I hope that Percy will come home, these men under a red cross are now starting to break down the barrier, and soon they will storm in and destroy us, and now they seem to get after me and Celeste, I don't know why but I have a feeling it must mean that they may not only be after Percy but also after Me and our daughter, I hope that they will never get us. I was thinking of how to get these new enemies away, then I got a plan, I grabbed my shoes, and run to the door, Celeste asked what I was going to do, so I told her that I am going to legions camp at the east of the city, and as I arrived I came into the head quarters, and as I burst in Reyna was looking at maps, deciding which move will be best, but as she noticed me she came to me.

"Annabeth what are doing here?"

"I think I know a way how to get these men away from camp!"

"You do?"

"Yes... remember that my mother is the goddess of wisdom and battle strategy!"

"Oh yes, sometimes it's hard for me to know the difference between Minerva and Athena, so what is your plan?"

"I was thinking that may be we should get them by surprise."

"An ambush?"

"Not the word I would use for this."

"Are you sure that this is a good tactic?"

"Sure, allot of the generals in the past have done it!"

"Oh I get it, like Arminius, he once attacked our legions but surprise."

"The elements of a surprise attack is very useful, no one must underestimated it."

"Annabeth you have never cease to amaze me, first you were the first child of wisdom we Romans have met, then you found the Athena Parthenons, next you went to Tartarus, and you survives the mare nostrum, and now this!"

"Some tactics that we have used in the past for survival can be very effective, even simple ones can be deadly."

"Alright, lets do this... I want the legion ready and equipped, we are going to give these men a surprise."

Percy's POV

We arrived a camp Olympian, the Templar encampment is just about on east side of camp, it was dark and we must devise a plan for in filtration, they have set up guards patrolling on either side of the encampment, so we got in silently and we hide in every places that are blind spots, then we noticed the legion coming strait for the encampment, but first we must look for the officers tent, then we saw it, there is light in it and I came there with Nico, as we came we eaves drop at the Templar's, and their conversation seems interesting.

"Well Nicholas come in have a drink and some food."

"Thank you William."

"Now it is come to my attention that we have lost the descendant of that french assassin who sold us to the Pope."

"So I've heard, isn't he the guy that has killed your brother in that ambush while we are trying to capture him?"

"That he is, and I would like to have his neck on a noose."

"But they will capture and kill him will they?"

"May be but I've heard that the assassins are keeping him safe, so I have heard from our new member Octavian that he want's his girlfriend dead, but he is also thinking of getting his daughter to join us, she could be a powerful ally."

"Do you think that is wise?"

"I don't know but who knows, she could be a good ally."

"I see."

"And once are done with this siege, we will come back, and will be richly awarded."

"Richly awarded?!"

"That's right, richly, that means once this is over we could start up a new life of luxury!"

This seems to be a interesting conversation, however these guys will be disappointed with their future, since they will be gone to the underworld, so I signaled to Nico that we will get into the tent and give them a nasty surprise, even though I killed Williams brother I though 'why not join him?' so we burst in.

"Well boys I am vaguely disappointed in you two."

"You!"

I came up to William, and Nico went to Nicholas, I set out my blades, raise it and stab him in his heart, he let out a cry of pain and he start to talk.

"You assassins think that you will win this war? you will be gone from this earth."

"actually the world doesn't belong to you, it belongs to the gods. (ancient Greek) May your sole find the way to the after life."

As I saw him die I hope that he will make it to the under world, cause now we have other matters to worry about. as I came out there are yells of a fight going on and the assassins are already in the action, then Nico and I are going in, the fight was going to be a quick one, and as we nearly go them the Legion came in and gave us a hand. In a mater of seconds the Templar's start break and run, back to their vans and to their HQ, but that was not the last, I heard a voice from behind me.

"Percy? Nico?"

As Nico and I turned we saw Frank and Hazel looking at us with surprised looks, then I took my hood of and they recognized me, and they came in to give us a warm welcome.

"We thought that you two will be gone for over a month or more!"

"It took us a week Frank!"

"You should come with us... Percy who these hooded people?"

"They are assassins Hazel, it turns out that my bloodline goes back to them."

"Meaning you are a killer for hire?"

"Not really though."

"Oh I see."

"The Templar's may be gone but they will be back."

"How do you know Nico? and who are the Templar's?"

"Because that is their way, and the Templar's are an ancient order of crusader knights who try to bring the world to their power by enslavement."

"Yikes!"

"Yeah and the assassins were at war with them for many years, so they will be our allies."

"I see but the Praetors would like to agree this in the Pretoria."

"Ok we will"

They let the assassins in camp, but now I have some business of my own to attend, I must see Annabeth and Celeste, it's been days since I have seen them, so I came up to my house in New Rome and as I opened the door I saw Annabeth and Celeste on the floor putting in puzzles, so I walk up to them and spoke up.

"Knock knock!"

As they heard me they turned around, and they saw me, Annabeth was the first to stand up and when she did she ran up to me and and hug fiercely and cracking my ribs, she was sobbing and crying, Celeste came in as well and we hugged, she said that she missed me, and I told her that I missed her as well, including Annabeth.

"Percy we were worried about you!"

"Hey no problem, I'm here."

"What are you wearing?"

"Oh this is an assassins robe."

"Assassins?!"

"Yeah that is my heritage, but the assassins that I am blooded to are at war with the Templar's, those are the men that were trying to lay siege at camp Olympian, and they have experience with the gods many years ago."

"Oh!"

"Yeah, but now we must have preparations for the up coming battle."

"Alright, Octavian must be stopped once and for all."

"Yeah he must be stopped."

The next few weeks we were preparing for the next battle, Bill has arrived at camp and he is now talking with the Praetors, the assassins have brought many weapons that they could offer for the legion and the warriors in training, the gave us throwing knives, the bladed braces, blow guns that shoot poison darts, rope darts, and they also give training manuals of how the assassins fight, the manuals were from the renaissance time, and you can see the men fighting naked or dressed in tights and coats and cloaks. So now the Hephaestus and Vulcan kids are now copying and improving the weapons we were given, the fighting teachers, even Chiron has accepted the manuals, and whats more, I have been accepted in the assassins creed, but I am not the only one, Nico has been given a place as did Annabeth, and surprisingly Jason, Piper, Frank, Hazel, and Leo has been accepted as well, although now that we have the preparations ready for our next stage, we will attack Octavian and he will be facing justice or death, with the help of the assassins we surly are going to put an end to this war, no matter how large or small a force is, what matters is that you must depend on each other, first we must have every one ready, Octavian is going to pay.
