Eivexst: Well people here you all are the next chapter, it took a while but I finally managed to find time to type this up.

Marche: Yeah well I hope this isn't going to be very odd.

It soon came to the castle that the first of the world threads had been destroyed, when it had the young prince had an odd flash of memory, yet when it ended he was confused as to how it is possible to have memories of playing at a school that does not exist. Mean while the odd lady known as Spades was at large yet again, a couple of the judges were sent out to try and capture this odd woman and yet none who had gone out to find her were seen again, now enough of that for now. For now go to see what has become of the claners we all have come to know in such a short time, mean while I will be here awaiting your return…

Nel's pov: "Nelly over your head!" I ducked just as a arrow was about to hit me and took in a deep intake of breath from how startling that was as I had then began to chant to bring out my newest summon.

"Come forth, Shiva!" Over head a woman in ice blue armor with a deep blue colored rapier appeared and pointed her weapon skyward causing a large burst of ice to come plummeting down onto the enemy causing the unfortunate human to collapse, exhausted and too wounded to move any more.

"Nice job Nelly." Olint was now laying down right next to me after getting struck by a metal veil, he seemed to have trouble seeing as his eyes wouldn't focus. "I guess this clan is stronger than I had anticipated."

We were up against clan Berzoi they have been causing many problems for every one in ivalice for a long time now so we decided to put a stop to them, when we had started to fight, they seemed easy to beat and now they are suddenly so strong, what is going on? "Damn it, why don't you back, OFF!"

Marche brought down his sword with a yellow glow on it and as he brought it down stated in almost to calm voice to be normal. "Aim, arms." When the blow struck home, the Bangaa he was fighting yelped, his hands unable to properly move his weapon so it was practically useless for him to try and attack as he backed away from Marche looking both mad and scared at the same time from the cold stare he was getting.

"Take this, breaker!" Umbra stood right behind the bangaa and before the poor guy had time to react, three globes of light shot from Umbra's palm, hitting him and causing him to turn to stone. Breaker is a type of blue magic that is given by courals, it causes three globes of light to strike the enemy causing them to be petrified.

"Stop, this match is over." The judge swung his sword down causing wards to go up preventing further damage to every one, it was over we had stopped them this time. "Thank you, we shall take them in now, but please continue your efforts to stop their leader."

Marche and Umbra both grinned giving one another a high five, over the past few days they have really become good friends, Montblanc even seems a bit jealous about it. "Well then, time for us all to have a rest it's a nice time out right now and there is a decent amount of light." Ritz came out with her arms crossed behind her head as she stared up at the trees around us and giggled slightly as a bird chirped in her direction.

We all sat there at the top of the tree that was the closest to the one back home, Umbra Leona and me that is, it was relaxing and just like old times. "You know….. I wonder how the other people at the village are doing, it seems like it's been years since we were there."

We both looked at Umbra as he stared off towards the direction the wood was in and we both started to feel a little home sick because of that, it really did feel like it had been a few years, even though we knew it had only been a couple months. "Pent…." I reached over about to put a hand on his shoulder when a pair of arms suddenly covered his eyes and we all looked shocked, it was that girl Lynn.

"Guess who." She said in a shockingly calm tone and I saw Umbra hold his chin in thought, I stared a bit confused, I know that he explained about that girl, but…. It still made me feel funny do to the way she was acting around him.

"How many tries do I get?" He asked and the girl tapped his head with her thumb three times and he smirked. "Is it Shara?" He asked playing as if he didn't know who it was.

I fumed a little when the girl moved forward a bit placing her head on his shoulder. "Nope, try again." I saw him frown slightly do to the contact, he never was one for having people he didn't know for long get that close to him.

"Is it perhaps, Marsha?" He asked as his voice grew a very small tone, but I couldn't place what it was, Lynn then moved so that her chest was up against his back and I felt like I was going to blow up when I saw him blush slightly.

"One last try Pentral." She said and then I saw Umbra gulp slightly, did he really not know who it was?

We all stood there for a few minutes waiting for him to decide as he seemed to try and ignore the few distracting factors that were there and he finally opened his mouth to speak.

"Is it…. Lynn?" He asked and I saw her smile in a very happy way as she let go of him backing away with a small giggle.

"Yep, it's me, but by the good queens name I thought you would have gotten it sooner than that." She said with a teasing wink and I saw him cross his arms in front of his chest with a small frown and a pout on his face as he jumped over to the branch I was on.

"I don't care for childish games." He told me and I saw Lynn look at us confused, she must not understand sylvan. "Though perhaps if it was you, I wouldn't mind it." He stated making me blush slightly as he jumped down landing perfectly down below.

I saw him start to walk away with Leona and they seemed very happy about it. [I still wonder what it is they won't tell me about that trip they went on, Umbra always blushes about it and Leona seems slightly flustered when I bring it up, but why?... Did they...?] I shook my head getting rid of that thought, he wouldn't do that, he just wouldn't.

After a few minutes I jumped down and looked at my right arm, making sure to cover it when ever one of the clan members passed by and I went to Ritz. "Ritz, is it okay if we all went back to the wood for a little while?" I asked and I saw her thinking over something, then I noticed on the other end of the tent was Aksel.

"O-Oh, forgive me I'll leave you two to finish what it is you were discussing." I stated quickly leaving, what was wrong with me right now?

Umbra's POV: I sighed once I was certain we were far enough away as Leona hugged me from behind lightly nuzzling her cheek on the back of my neck. "Leona, why have you been this way?" I asked, I know the answer but I still like to reaffirm it.

"Well, it's because of the fact that you and I went to the hot spring together, and I KNOW you were watching." She said poking my cheek with a smile on her face….. I think.

I blushed slightly though, it was embarrassing to remember THAT….

A WEEK AGO.

"Damn, this place is very nice." Umbra looked around at the place admiring the feeling of the fresh air, the small amount of steam in the air coming from a near by hot spring, there were interesting scents coming from it some what similar to relaxing herbs, and he also smelt the varying types of foods they were making for all the guests there. "Well you go ahead of me I'll go and get into the spring to make sure it's not to warm."

Leona nodded as she walked away and Lynn held onto Umbra's arm looking uneasy. "I-I don't see the person." Umbra patted her head softly, she wasn't as tall as him, in fact she was about a head shorter yet something about her was different to him.

"It's okay, I'm sure your friend will show up soon, come on, why don't you go to the spring later, it might help you relax." She nodded to him with a grateful gaze on her face as she followed him still not letting go as Umbra frowned at this, when they had finally made it there Lynn was forced to let go so Umbra could change and she could do so as well.

After a few minutes Umbra now stood staring at him self in a mirror, a large number of bandages covered his torso all the way down to his elbows now, and down till it reached the bottom of his chest and he sighed. "This isn't something that is easy to deal with." He removed the bandages and stared at the odd markings that were now fading. "They showed once the crystal broke, I wonder why."

He came out into the hot spring and smiled, it was indeed a very soothing feeling, there was a odd feeling of calm, and the fog made things nice and cool for him and yet the heat from the water soothed the stress that claimed his mind, he walked over sitting into the water and then noticed something, there were ripples moving out in the out towards him and he looked up.

The moment he had, his face turned red and he flinched from the shock of what he saw as his eyes widened and his pupils shrank slightly, there he saw Leona walking towards the spring wearing a cloth like form of a suit of armor called the Minerva set, it stopped just around the thighs and just over her chest and he found that she looked directly at him, her long hair freely hanging down as she sat down near him a stare that was familiar yet at the same time unknown to him. "Hey there Umbra, the spring treating you well? I just couldn't wait for your answer on if it was good or not." She said as Umbra suddenly wished he still had those bandages on.

"I-It's very nice, but um, why aren't you more covered?" He asked looking away a bit and Leona put a hand on his shoulder and he shivered till he noticed the feeling of a odd wax on her hand and relaxed once he realized it was a type of soap.

"Well, it's because….. It's because I wanted to show you…." Umbra hummed in confusion as he kept his back towards her and then he froze as he felt her move so she was on his back, her head lying on his shoulder lightly. "I just wanted you to know, that Nelly isn't the only one that loves you, so….. Don't go deciding she's the one for you just yet, at least let me enjoy this moment to have you to my self before we go back, please?"

Umbra stayed silent the cicada giving off their rumbling calls as he soon put a hand on one of Leona's and smiled over his shoulder. "Okay, just for now, I'll let you and I be the only ones here." He stated making their moment much more relaxing.

A couple hours later Umbra looked up at the sky, it was night time by now and he was in his own room staring at the stars over head, he had a small wine glass that was filled with a herbal tea and he downed it quickly savoring how it tasted so much like the fruit juice at home when a near silent knocking was heard at the door. "Who is it...? Come on in." He stated not waiting for a response as he looked at the door and saw Leona walk in wearing her usual outfit and he smiled.

"Hey there Umbra, glad to see you have not gone to bed yet." He tilted his head in question and she joined him at the balcony he stood on. "I wanted to star gaze, but it's really sad to do this alone, isn't it?" She looked at him with a small amount of care in her eyes as her lips just barely moved up into a smile, it was one of Umbra's own smiles that he had used a lot when they were younger.

"Yeah, I guess you're right Leona, it can be a little sad when you do something like this on your own, thank you." He stated putting a single arm over her shoulders pulling her over into a single armed hug, Leona smiled as she took in his warmth and sent, it made her so happy that he was doing this.

A small figure came in and squeezed between the two with a some what sad look, it was Lynn and she seemed very distraught. "No one ever came, they promised though, they promised." She said with small tears in her eyes and Umbra began to kneel as he put a gentle hand on her shoulder after letting go of Leona. "It's so unfair."

Umbra nodded as he hugged her, none of them had noticed before, but Lynn was actually only able to reach up to his chest when she stood up straight. "I know Lynn, I know, but if you wish, you may come along with us it would be hard for you to wait here for them, after all they might never come and I'd hate it if that happened."

Leona nodded placing a kind hand onto Lynn's head ruffling the girl's hair. "Yeah come along with us Lynn, we'll make sure you get the attention you need." Lynn stared at them both in shock before she sniffled again and began to cry hugging onto Umbra's shirt and Leona began to kneel as well hugging the girl from the opposite direction as they waited for her to calm down.

When she had, they had laid out some sheets, and slept there together, neither of them knew it at the time, yet when they woke up Leona and Umbra had found them selves sleeping VERY close to one another and Umbra's face turned beet red as he noticed that Leona had fallen sleep on top of him and they both quickly moved so they would be apart from one another, a day later it was time to go back and they didn't speak of that moment again, agreeing that it was just them having moved in their sleep that caused them to end up laying down like that.

Another thing Umbra wouldn't admit to, was the fact that he had noticed Leona bathing long before the moment where she walked up to him but couldn't look away.

CURRENT TIME.

"I still h-have no idea what you mean." I stated crossing my arms over my chest in defiance of having been caught as Leona simply giggled at my actions and I let a small smile come to my face as we finally came up to the other members who were having fun playing a game Marche and Ritz taught them called spin the bottle, it seemed every ones shy little white mage had taken a liking to the game as we saw Drake kiss Marsha with out a second thought when it stopped on her and we were invited to join….. This is going to be a long day.

Marche's POV: I sat on the edge of a large cliff that over looked the ocean near by, it was nice being here, it was really peaceful unlike the fight we had just been in. "I wonder… Where are you Doned?" I wondered out loud.

A figure came out sitting next to me and I looked over to see that it was Montblanc then on my other side Shara sat down as well. "Hey, kupo, why do you look so down Marche?" Montblanc, always able to cut right to the chase.

I sighed as I looked down at the water hitting the shore down below. "I uh… I was just wondering if there is any one else from my world around here is all." I stated, it was a half truth, but also a half lie and it made my chest hurt from the small amount of guilt that came from the part of it that was a lie.

"Marche, you shouldn't worry about it, I'm sure that if there are others from your world they surely remember it and are trying just as hard as you are to get back." Shara said with a calming hand on my shoulder and I felt a bit of warmth spread out there.

"But… What if they don't remember?" I asked as I recalled hearing Mewt's voice in my mind and it made me sad to hear that, after all, he forgot about it all, we had shattered the second crystal two days ago and Umbra had collapsed when it happened, he was very pale and had broken out into a high temperature, yet when he woke up the next day he said he didn't remember a thing from that day.

"Kupo, well, if they don't remember then you'll just be able to remember for them right?" I nodded patting the little red ball that all of the moogles seem to have and saw Montblanc smile.

[Yeah… That's what I'll do…] I thought as we all sat there enjoying the calming effect that the ocean's waves seemed to have.

Eivexst: Okay I know this took me a long time and the only reason I can give for that would be that being a senior in high school really takes a toll on you when you have a bunch of projects to take care of.

Marche: Not that that is a viable excuse.

Shara: Oh relax I'm sure it will be okay.
