AN: Hello, hello. WE ARE BACK. First an apology on my behalf (kareen238) since I was the one who said to a few people it would be up and ready on Sunday. In reality, I had it done about a week ago, but rewrote it like four times (at least the beginning). Anyway, due to extreme circumstances, I was only able to post it now.
On another note: KLAUS AND CAROLINE KISSED. THEY HAD HOT HYBRID SEX IN THE WOODS! WUP WUP! For those who are starting to give up, DO NOT IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE UP ON OUR SHIP! WE WILL GO DOWN WITH IT! SIGN THE PETITION, WRITE A COMPLAINT, DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER!

It's been a day since their kiss and Caroline made a point to avoid him. Unfortunately, this was a hard task when they were the only people in the house. Non of his siblings returned home right after the New Year's eve. Klaus has been informed by his brother that he and Amethyst would be back by night and he should have a personal thing of Kol prepared. When he asked to elaborate his request,
Elijah had already hung up.
At some point of the day Klaus caught Caroline sneaking into the kitchen to get herself a snack.
"Avoiding me, love?" She froze in her search for blood bags.
"We ran out of blood." Caroline stated without looking up.
"No," he pointed at her "YOU ran out of it. I for one have all the blood I can get out on the street." He pointed to himself. Klaus knew he was a bit harsh on her, but he was getting frustrated with her. All the avoiding hurt him even though he would never admit it.
"That's hardly fair. You know I don't do humans." Caroline retorted, crossing her hands while watching him with a tight lipped smile.
"Ah, yes. How can I forget, when you practically begged me not to kill that poor excuse of a vampire?!" He whispers-shouted. The memory only fueling his anger.
"Like you are any better. Sleeping around after promising the world." Caroline said through clenched teeth.
"And we are back to that. Do I need to remind you we were not together at the time? Nor did you cast a glance in my direction. Everything I did was stamped over rapidity!" Klaus said, raising his voice at the end. Once again their confrontation escalated and the two were getting dangerously close to each other.
"We still aren't!" The hybrid blinked in confusion.
"Pardon, we aren't what?" Caroline rolled her eyes.
"We weren't and aren't together." Klaus merely stared at her for a few silent seconds.
"That is the only thing you got from what I said? My implication we are together? You are impossible." His eyes softened for a bit, their noses touching.
"Look who's talking, the most complex man on earth." Caroline scoffed, avoiding his intense gaze.
"Mhm." Was the only response she got before she felt him slightly lean towards her. Glancing at him she saw how his eyes shifted from her lips to her eyes and back. Just before their lips could touch again a voice came from the doorway shouting: "We are back!", a few seconds before the said voice came into the room.
"Oh, are we interrupting something?" The witch asked, false innocence shining in her eyes.
"Yes." "No." Both said at the same time.
Raising an eyebrow Amethyst continued with her mission.
"No matter. There is no time for smooching. We are resurrecting Kol." Witchy stated as if that was something casual to talk about.
Both vampires in the room were rendered speechless.
"What?!" Caroline was the first to come out of her shock.
"It's true, brother. It's time for our little brother to be once again in the land of living." Elijah's voice came from behind the witch.
"Is that why you needed something of Kol?"
Both parties nodded.
"Once I obtain something of Kol, I can perform the spell and voila the most famous original is alive once again." Amethyst explained while extending her hand. Klaus pulled out a necklace that Kol always had around his neck and put it in her hand. It was something he made for him when they were still humans.
"Great. Let's get a move on." She motioned for them to follow her out into the garden.
"Elijah, be a dear and bring me five candles." The said vampire nodded his head and came back with the required objects in a few seconds.
Amethyst placed the candles in a pentagram around her so that she was in the middle and began chanting:

Tora pou to kako perpata pano sti ghi
I ora tou diavolou plisiazi.
Gia na itithi, irthe i ora Ekinos na zisi ke na polemisi gia alli mia fora dipla stin ikogenia tou.
The flames spread out with a bright light erupting in the middle. Once the flames died out, there in front of them in the middle of the circle stood Amethyst and the newly resurrected Kol.
"Hello, brothers. Miss me?" He said before he flashed and threw Elijah into the tree, breaking it in the process.
"That's for not mourning me, arse." He glared at his older brother and scanned the room.
"Now, where is our lovely sister?" Klaus couldn't believe his little brother was once again alive. Seeing him die in front of his eyes and watching his dead corpse for days in the Gilbert household was absolute torture to him.
"Out. Celebrating a new year." He managed to say.
"Should be expected from the little harlot. After all, she did try her brother for a moronic cure." Kol said with bitterness and resentment.
"Kol it is not as you think it is. Rebekah wanted to be human. It is not like we did not mourn you." Elijah tried to make amends.
"Oh, spare me the details, Elijah. I saw everything from the other side. Non of you shed a tear for me except for Nik. You all were more invested in the witch hunt." Kol spat at his brother, preparing for another round of wrestling. Seeing that, Caroline nudged Klaus, who looked at her with questioning eyes, and gestured to break the fight which was about to erupt between his brothers.
"Ah, yes. The hunt for the cure." Klaus clasped his hands together and walked towards Kol.
"Why don't we get you a drink and plot against our siblings? I do have a dagger in hand." Klaus said as he clasped a hand on Kol's shoulder and lead him away towards the living room with everyone on their heels.
AN: I know, I know short. Don't worry will make it up in later chapters.
