I don't own Adventure Time.
Hey guys! Sorry about not uploading this yesterday. I got a little sick over the weekend and was just really tired. I slept for 12 HOURS! That's like three times as much as I usually get. Anyway here is the chapter!
This is Chapter 8.
Finn and Bonnie left quickly before the security guard could catch them when he was making his rounds again. They remained silent until they reached Bonnie's dorm.
"Wow…" Bonnie said as she eased on to her bed. Finn leaned against her bed frame with his arms crossed and eyes closed
"You can say that again…" He said. Neither said anything to each other for a few moments, both trying to digest what they just heard. Finn broke the silence "I guess… Dr.D does know. But why? Why would she do this to another woman?"
Bonnie sighed "That's the million dollar question. She's obviously an expert in psychology, I mean she teaches it, but for her to knowingly inflict this kind of damage, if it were to get out, on to someone else, let alone that someone else being a woman, is just unthinkable…"
"I mean, I guess I can understand a little," Finn started "She's hurting. Maybe her husband has been selfish lately, wanting her home more often, but she wants to do her best as a teacher. And maybe Dr. Clint's wife has been neglectful lately and for him it would just be easier to be with someone that he's around pretty much all the time…"
Bonnie replied "I see what your saying, but that still doesn't give them the right to throw their spouses under the bus like that. Maybe their spouses don't know that what they're doing hurts Dr. Clint and Dr. D. Dr. D and Dr. Clint, instead of horsing around with each other, should tell their spouses how they feel. That would better solve the problem…"
Suddenly the door swung open as Marceline rushed in. She looked back and forth between Bonnie and Finn then asked "What's with the long faces? Why is it that whenever I come in here, you two are so glum, huh?"
Bonnie perked up "Oh its nothing, Marceline! Just talking, about life and stuffs like that."
"Well maybe you guys should talk about something else then. Just not science… you'll bore poor Finn to sleep." Marceline smirked. Bonnie rolled her eyes as Finn chuckled.
"How was Chemistry 2?"
"Oh well, it went okay. Mrs. Hoang started us off with lattice arrangements of crystals and phase diagrams of given substances/elements." Marceline responded.
Bonnie got excited "Oh wow! Phase diagrams are super fun! Did you get to orient where a given chemical or element will sublime, melt or boil? Or did you get the triple point in which the element is found in all three phases? There is even a phase past boiling where the element becomes not liquid but a fluid, which in chemistry are two different things… Wait, did you say MRS. HOANG?" She looked to Finn who was just as shocked to hear that name.
Marceline looked at her puzzled "Yeah? She teaches General and Organic. What's with the face?"
"Oh umm, nevermind that, please tell me more about her though. She's obviously married…" Bonnie quickly said.
"Yeah, she's married to some guy in the Biology department. She's seems like the kind that is really into what she does. She could talk about chemistry FOREVER, even went over class time a little bit. Pretty lengthy office hours too." Marceline replied.
Finn spoke "What about her husband? Has she told you anything more about him?" Marceline moved to her bed as she responded "Not really, I mean it is a chemistry class, not a class about her life. So she's not really supposed to. Umm, I think she said he's an M.D."
Bonnie and Finn remained silent as they put together this information. Marceline looked back and forth between them before slamming her bedside table, snapping the two out of their concentration. "Hey, what the French toast is going on around here? Why are you guys being all weird?"
Neither answered. They both knew this would not be a good thing to tell Marceline, especially since she rarely found a teacher she really liked such as Dr. D. When 5 minutes of silence passed, Marceline gave up on them telling her and decided to head down to the cafeteria to eat lunch. Bonnie passed on eating as she needed to catch up on reading and Finn said he had to go talk to Kieran. When Finn got to the boy hall, he went to his room first as to get his phone. When he picked it up, he had a new text message from Bonnie
"Hey, so do you think you could dig up more tomorrow?"
Finn replied "I don't know. Do we really need more? We kinda figured out the whole story already…
"I guess we do. So what do you think we should do about it?"
"I don't know that either. Would we really be able to do anything? I mean, they're adults, they can do what they want, no matter what we say…"
"I know, but maybe we could just make them see what they're doing is wrong… It might not change, but at least we can say we tried to do the right thing…"
"Yeah… okay. Does she have office hours anytime soon?"
"I think she has like one on Friday from 10:00-11.00am."
"Uhh kinda a bad way to head into the weekend though…"
"Would you rather do it on Monday and have to deal with it for the rest of the week?"
"Nah, you're right. I'll meet you outside her door."
"Okay."
Finn walked over to Kieran's room and knocked lightly. Kieran opened the door, with a smile on his face. "You're later than I thought you'd be. I was about to go to mess hall for some grub."
"Yeah I'm sorry. I got held up in Bonnie's room." Kieran raised his eyebrow inquisitively.
"No! Nothing like that! I..I…" Finn blushed. Kieran hit him on the back as he laughed "Just messing with you, mate! I like to have fun like that."
Finn rubbed the back of his neck with a cheesy smile on his face "You scared me for a second. You mind if I come with you, I'm starving!" Kieran nodded "Yeah. We can talk about our project." They walked down to the mess hall and ordered the lunch special, a jalapeno burger. As they ate, they talked about their project subject, taking a more advanced route using some calculus equations that Kieran's roommate had been using for homework. Then their conversation steered to more non-academic things, like football, cycling, music. When they reached back to the boy dormatories, Finn said "Hanging out with you is pretty fun. Even though we talked about "
"Yeah. You're not too shabby yourself. But I should really be getting to bed. Struth I've got early training tomorrow, 60km ride and then a run to top it off." Kieran yawned.
Finn sighed "Yeah me too. I got training run tomorrow with Brad and the rest of the team. And its early because we don't have Algebra on Thursdays."
Kieran waved as he walked to his dorm "Well good luck."
"You too." Finn replied as he opened the door to his own dorm. He quickly got into his pajamas and collapsed on his bed, soon falling asleep.

When Finn woke up, he looked to his clock. It said 9:00. At first he reminded himself not to freak out, because he didn't have College Algebra today, but then he did panic because the run was supposed to be at 7:45am this morning.
"How did this happen?! I'm sure I didn't sleep through the alarm and it's been set since yesterday…" Finn thought. As he realized the culprit, his eyes narrowed.
"BRAD…." He growled.
A/N:
How did this go?
You think it's a good idea for Bonnie and Finn to confront their teachers about their findings?
Or will it all blow up in their faces?
Hmmmm...

Thanks and see you in a few hours,
