I don't own Adventure Time!

Hey guys! I'm sorry about this being later than I wanted, but it's here! It's pretty long too, so I hope that makes up for it. Haha all I'm saying is that you'll like it!

A HUGE thanks to I am Red Bull for helping me getting my ideas flowing for this chapter. He was such an enormous help, so please thank him too!

This is Chapter 11.

A couple months passed as the semester flew by. Finn and Bonnie were constantly teased by Dr. D about the incident which was their end of the bargain when they asked her not to tell Marceline. Other than that, Finn's classes had been going great. LSP always made English Comp fun and Algebra was a breeze with Kieran. He couldn't say the same about training though. The lot of team had been pretty cool, had really accepted him as one of them. But there was always Brad. Finn couldn't care less if Brad liked him or not, but his pranks were getting out of hand. Today had made that clear. Usually, directly after training, Finn enjoyed taking a long, hot shower to relax his muscles and refresh his mind. Lots of equipment had been used today though and Brad made the lovely suggestion to Coach that Finn should put it all away as extra measure. Little did Finn know, this was just a diversion. After Finn had put all of the training equipment away, he walked to his long awaited sanctuary. Thankfully, he had taken so long cleaning up, that the rest of the team were gone, meaning he had the joy of showering alone and truly being able to enjoy his shower. Or so he thought. He eagerly turned the left knob, adjusting it to his liking. He sighed in relief as he let the heated water crash onto him, like a waterfall, soaking him from head to toe. Suddenly, the water turned cold. He jumped out and looked around, completely bewildered. Brad was nowhere to be seen. Finn looked back to the shower, confused. He tested the water and found it to be hot again. He shook his head, thinking maybe there was some kind of weird shortage somewhere, and got back in the shower. After about 5 minutes, it happened again, this time being ice cold. Then he heard hearty laughter as he looked to the shower room door. Brad stood in doorway. "Hey, Freshmeat, how's it hangin?"

"You know, I really wouldn't know. Maybe I could ask you after I hang you from the rafters of the building, hmm?" Finn annoyingly replied, he walked to the adjoined locker room to put on his clothes.

"Oh you wouldn't want to do that. Then I wouldn't be able to host the Annual Halloween Party this Saturday. This year it was given to the suits of the football team to organize and the captain to host. You don't want to disappoint all the chickadees, do you?" Brad taunted.

Finn scoffed as he looked in his locker. His clothes weren't there. He groaned, "Where are my clothes, bastard? I know you hid them...again."

Brad walked away, laughing "You make things too easy, freshmeat."

Finn sighed, and grabbed the only thing Brad left him, his phone. He called Matthew, who was kind enough to bring him another set of clothes.

After Finn became fully clothed again, he and Matthew walked back to their dorm. "Man, what's with Brad and my clothes? You know, he's probably in love with me or something, and takes my clothes so he can smell them like one of those obsessive maniacs..."

Matthew chuckled "That could be true! I've never seen him give a freshman as much trouble as he gives you. Maybe it's because you and Kieran are good friends. Those two really hate each other."

Finn laughed "Heh, yeah I've noticed."

Matthew continued "Or it could be that you're supposed to be his replacement. He is going to leave next year."

"That gives him no reason to be such a jerk though." Finn shrugged.

"Then there's the fact that you seem really close to Bonnie..." Matthew finished.

Finn shrugged again "I can't help that. We went to high school together for three years."

Matthew nodded "Yeah..."

"Speaking of Bonnie, is she going to be going to that Halloween party thing? Brad spouted off a bit of info about it, saying the football team is hosting." Finn asked.

Matthew answered "I mean she doesn't have to, but she, Marceline and Kieran usually go to all the parties, so I would assume. Since our suits are organizing it, we have to go."

Finn questioned "Who are the suits?"

"Ahh, they are just more the management of the team. They handle the financial and legal business. We couldn't handle that all ourselves..." Mathew jokingly elbowed Finn. They reached the dorm building but Finn had changed his mind. "Nah, you know, I'm going to go walk around. I still need to blow off some steam."

"Well, I'll catch you later then. I'm going to finish my well-earned nap, which was so rudely interrupted by your petty freshman troubles." Matthew said jokingly.

Finn lightly punched his shoulder and said goodbye as he walked in the other direction.

Finn had lied. He actually headed over to Bonnie's dorm. Though, he had to admit, spending time with her usually made him feel a lot better, so technically it wasn't a lie. But he wasn't going to spend time, he needed to ask her a question. He briskly knocked on the door, and then stuffed his hands in his pockets. As usual, Bonnie answered it.

"Well, hello accomplice. Don't you have class soon?"

"Hello yourself. I just got back from practice and one of Brad's pranks..." Finn said as he walked in, not bothering to answer her question.

Bonnie groaned "What did he do this time?"

Finn waved his hand "Nothing to worry your pretty little head about. Anyway, did you get an invite to the Halloween thing this Saturday?"

"Oh yeah, I got that a while ago. They send those out a month in advance. I got my costume all ready to go already." Bonnie replied.

And of course I didn't find out about this thing until an hour ago... Frickin Brad. Finn thought. "Soooo, you're going?"

Bonnie answered "Of course! I mean, I may not like whose hosting it this year, but the lot of people that go to these things are pretty cool."

"Why do you ask?" Bonnie looked at him curiously.

Finn avoided her gaze, blushing ever so slightly "You know, just...wondering."

After a pause of silence, Finn said "Well I better head off to class now. Don't want to give Dr. Clint ammunition for today."

"Alright, well, I guess I'll see you later?" Bonnie asked. She looked at him as she grabbed her Marine biology text book. Finn nodded and went out the door. He then added "And if not then, then on Saturday!" Pausing a moment she called once more "Wait, what'll you be wearing?"

"I don't know yet!" Finn answered back. Then he made his way to class.

.

Biology class wasn't much joy, though it did take his mind off things. Their experiment today was just looking at slides of mitosis, identifying which stage a given cell was in and drawing it yourself. Finn and Kendra decided to split up the duties, he was supposed to find prophase and anaphase, while she was supposed to find metaphase and telophase. As these tasks weren't too hard, they often talked while doing them.

"So, how you holding up over there?" Finn said as he focused the microscope.

Kendra smiled and answered, a playful tone laced in her voice "Probably better than you." She wrapped her fiery-red hair around her ear to side-glance at him, as she brought her face closer to the oculars of the microscope.

"Psssssh, you wish. I'm focusing the glass on these slides!" Finn scoffed proudly.

"Oh so I'm guessing you actually read the procedure this time?" She asked skeptically.

Finn answered matter-o-factly "Why, yes. I did read the procedure this time. And I found it quite interesting, how they stain the specimen to allow for us to discern its smaller contents."

"Oh ho ho, we got a braniac on our hands..." Kendra teased as she turned to look at him, flailing her arms in fake amazement. Finn just chuckled.

"So...uh.. what are you doing this Saturday?" she hesitantly asked, a glower hidden in her eyes.

Finn replied "Eh, I got this Halloween shindig to go to."

Kendra averted her eyes to the floor and quickly back to him as she responded with a stiff "Oh." He continued on, not noticing.

"Yeah apparently, football team's suits are organizing it so I have to be there. You didn't hear about it? It's supposed to be pretty popular." Finn asked surprised by her non-awareness of the party.

She shook her head "No, I didn't. I'm not involved in any sports team here nor are any of my friends so I couldn't have known."

Finn replied with his own solemn "Oh" He then said "I don't think it's going to be a rager or anything, so you wouldn't be missing much. Probably just a bunch of idiots in costumes getting drunk."

Kendra laughed, but Finn could hear the bit of disappointment it masked. "Honestly, I would invite you but I don't think Brad would let anyone I brought, in, with me being a freshman and him being team captain and all..."

This seemed to cheer her up. "Oh it's fine. I understand. Plus, with the party being so close, I wouldn't be ready. I don't even have a costume and it's two days away!"

Finn scoffed "Please, I'm sure you could find something. It's not like it's Christmas or anything."

"You obviously haven't seen the chaos that can happen just a week before Halloween, any holiday for that matter."

Finn waved his hand "Whatever." They soon finished their experiment and went their separate ways.

.

.

.

Kendra was right. Trying to find a Halloween costume on two days' notice was not going to be an easy feat. All the good ones have probably already been taken. He now thought as he lay on his bed, throwing a balled up sock in the air. He had been thinking about it for an hour now. Why do I care so much anyway? It's just some party. He sat up, looking into his closet. No. It's not just some party. I gotta find a good costume...At that he heard a special knock at his door. It was Kieran. Finn gladly opened the door for him, letting him inside.

"Well, friend, I see you've been... productive." Kieran said as he looked around. Clothes and papers had been messily arrayed around the room. It was amazing that you could still see the floor. Finn scoffed at him before sitting back on his bed.

"What's wrong, mate?" Kieran asked, noticing his friend being a bit off.

"Nothing's wrong, man. I am just trying to figure out a costume for this Saturday's party thing." Finn replied, still contemplating.

Kieran suggested "Dude, just throw something on, like a sheet or something, and add a red nose. You could be a ghost clown or the ghost of Rudolf."

Finn shook his head "No, man. It's gotta be good..."

"Why?" Kieran questioned.

"It just has to..." Finn continued "Plus, do you realize how much crap I'd get for wearing a lame costume like that from Brad? He'd never let me hear the end of it!"

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that little d-bag. Well, what are you thinking?" Finn continued to ponder, when Kieran was struck with an idea. "Hey, I probably got something you could use. And right now, you're only a bit beefier than I am, so it'd probably fit you."

Finn shook his head again. "Nah, Brad would probably recognize it."

"No, mate. My cousin forced this costume on me a year ago. It's not really my style, so I haven't worn it. Plus, it's customizable, so you can make it yours." Kieran explained.

Finn nodded "That sounds pretty cool then. What is it supposed to be?"

Kieran responded "A version of an Assassin's uniform from the game Assassin's Creed."

Finn gasped. "WHAT?! How in the world do you not like it? That game's awesome!"

"Do you want it or not?" Kieran replied, not willing to answer the question.

"Of course!" Finn said excitedly. Kieran motioned to the door and they went to his room to retrieve the costume.

The next two days came and went as the excitement of the awaited party grew. Even Finn was looking forward to it. He and Kieran decided to meet up before the party. Finn knocked on Kieran's dorm door, to which Kieran opened. He was dressed in a clean-cut pinstriped black suit. It made him look taller, just from the way it fit. Finn started to chuckle until he looked up to Kieran's face. He didn't see it at all. It was just a white head atop his shoulders. He stared at him confused. "What are you?"

"I'm Slender Man." Kieran said proudly, adorning a smile that Finn couldn't see.

Finn continued to stare awkwardly "What is that?"

Kieran gasped "You don't know what Slender Man is? Okay, Slender Man is a really tall, thin, dark figure that wears a suit, but he has no face. He's just got a white head. He's said to be able to teleport. Just show up out of nowhere. And because of that he's able to stalk people, often watching them for years slowly driving his victim insane. He's got really long limbs that he can stretch to capture his prey. He's really cool and scary."

"You definitely got the scary part right. It's like that kind of weird that you freeze up and just, just stare at. And feel really conflicted on what your motives are." Finn replied. Looking at Kieran, just gave him the chills.

"Well, uh, let's get a move on to that party, huh?" Finn walked out towards the front door.

"Finn, you're being such a priss." Kieran laughed as he slapped him on the back. "Am not!" Finn replied as they walked. Kieran continued to make fun of him all the way to where the party was being held. First to greet them was none other than Brad, wearing the most befitting costume that he could, a dressed-up Frankenstein.

"Hey freshmeat. Welcome to the party!" Brad said with a smiled that betrayed his true feelings.

Finn replied with the same feigned enthusiasm "Hey Frankenstein! Are you sure you're supposed to be here? And where's your costume?" Finn joked.

"Ha ha" Brad laughed sarcastically. "Well you're late, and that earned you a special surpreez for later." Brad smiled genuinely. Finn just rolled his eyes as he and Kieran walked in.

"By the way, who's your friend in that killer costume? He's got sick taste " Brad said as he sized up Kieran. Finn was just about to say when Kieran interrupted him

"Just a classmate from Algebra class." He quickly answered.

"Well as I said killer costume. You got mad taste." Brad replied. He patted Kieran on the back as he walked away to some other friends. Finn turned to Kieran

"And what was that about?"

Kieran explained "Ahh, it just makes it better for both of us in the end, you know. He knows I'm here, but if he doesn't know my costume then he can't bother me." Finn nodded as they continued to walk through the party. Red and blue cups littered the floor, in addition to orange and black confetti. The two got some punch and stood against the wall together until they heard someone call,

"FINN!"

Finn looked up to see a girl with ceiling high black and white hair, in a white floor-length dress, moving through the crowd to approach him. She was pulling another woman, dressed in red and black behind her.

"Bonnie!" "Marceline!" Finn and Kieran said harmoniously. The two girls eyed Kieran suspiciously

"Kieran?" Marceline asked.

"Yep. I'm Slender Man." Kieran said joyously. Marceline replied "That's so cool! An excellent choice for a Halloween party. You're probably the scariest thing here!"

"And what are you to be?" Kieran questioned.

Marceline smiled toothily "A vampire! Duh! You know how much I like them." Kieran laughed.

Bonnie was flabbergasted "I don't know how, but Brad found out my costume was to be Frankenstein's bride. So he posed as Frankenstein, how unbelievable!"

"I wondered why he was wearing a suit. Well at least you don't have to wear a costume just to look better like Brad does. Cut him some slack, it's the only day of the year he can feel normal!" All four of them heartily laughed and went out on to the dance floor to bust some moves. As Finn danced, he took notice to a girl who looked oddly familiar. She wore an orange dress with a red jewel bedazzled to the center. Her long hair had been pulled into a ponytail; save for two jaw length bangs that covered her head band tiara. She stood next to the wall, awkwardly staring at the people dancing. The two locked eyes for a second and Finn instantly knew who it was. He walked over to her.

"Didn't think you were much of a wallflower... Kendra." Finn teased.

"And I should have thought that such an air head like you, wouldn't know how to dance." Kendra smiled as she looked up at him. Finn just rolled his eyes.

"What are you doing, here? I thought you didn't have a costume..." Finn asked.

Kendra replied "Well, unlike you, I could make a costume just out of a dress amongst other things. I'm quite the homemaker. Plus, one of the footballers invited me, I don't remember his name but I'm hoping to see him here."

Finn continued asking "What are you supposed to be then?"

"A princess. One of the easiest costumes, you can make, all you need is a dress and a tiara." She smiled proudly. A moment of silence over took them as they watched the people on the dance floor. Suddenly, Kendra made a realization and turned to Finn.

"Speaking of costumes, can I ask why you would be wearing my cousin's by chance?"

"You and Kieran are cousins?" Finn asked in slight awe. He then snapped his fingers, eyeing her hair "I should have guessed."

Kendra shook her head "No you shouldn't have. Not all people with red hair know each other, genius. Anyway, you still didn't answer my question. What are you doing in his costume?"

Finn answered "Oh well he lent it to me. I didn't want to throw on something lame but didn't really have any other choice so he offered it." Kendra nodded in acceptance as she looked back to the dance floor. Finn stared at her for little while before grabbing her hand, making her join the mass of people.

"What are you doing?!" She yelled as she pulled her hand from his grip roughly.

Finn replied as he started dancing again "Well you said I don't know how to dance, so why don't you teach me?" She stood solemnly for a little while, but after a bit more coaxing from Finn, she started dancing too. Finn rejoined Kieran, Marceline and Bonnie after a while, leaving Kendra to enjoy her breakage from her shyness. The party stayed fun-filled and crazy for a few more hours until people got tired and started filing out. Finn told Kieran about Kendra being there, so the two left Bonnie and Marceline to go find her so they could all walk back to their dorms together.

Finn asked around for a girl in an orange dress, but no one was really sure of her whereabouts. A guy in power ranger costume had said she went off somewhere with someone, but that wasn't much of anything to go off of. He and Kieran continued to ask around until one fallen girl who looked like she could be a zombie without a costume told them "Oh her? She's off her teacups hammered. She's probably getting nailed or something..." Kieran shot Finn a worried look. The girl whipped her head around drunkenly. She made a motion to the doorway weakly, before falling over.

"Where is she?" Kieran asked, a heightened worry evident in his voice. He faced Finn, who just stood staring at the doorway, a look of horror gracing his features. Kieran turned to see what Finn could possibly be looking at and was all in the same motion hit by a truck of shock. Kendra, his cousin and Finn's friend, was completely smothered by Brad. He kissed her fervently, his hand leaving not a smidge of skin untouched. Kendra looked crossed between frightened and excited as her body moved of its own accord in response to Brad's touches. He continued to move lower and lower until he was thrust into the wall just to the right of where he and Kendra stood. Taken by complete surprise he looked up in bewilderment, as the masked man he saw with Finn earlier towered over him. The man kicked him hard in the side before kneeling down to really lay into him. Punch after ground-breaking punch, Kieran really let Brad have it, the rush of adrenaline never seeming to die down. All the commotion brought over the remainder of the party goers, including Marceline and Bonnie. Finn rushed too.

"Dude! Stop!" Finn said as he pulled Kieran from denting Brad's face. Kieran straightened his skewed suit as he looked down angrily to a still confused Brad.

"Freshmeat, what's with your friend?" Kieran, instantly, tore off his white morph mask, revealing his true identity to Brad. Brad smiled as he noted the red hair. Kieran seethed and punched him again as hard as he could. He breathed out heavily as he said "You knew, damn well that that was my cousin, you good-for-nothing idiot!" He was about to punch him again when Finn caught his hand.

"C'mon, I think he's had enough. Let's just head back, alright?"

Kieran shunted Finn's hand away as he stalked off in the opposite direction. Finn asked Bonnie and Marceline to escort Kendra back to her dorm and then followed Kieran. The two walked in silence for a while until Finn said "Look man, I'm sorry. Had I brought her back with me when I met up with you guys again this wouldn't of happened." Kieran stayed silent.

"I just wanted her to enjoy her first party, without her cousin and his friends watching her. I thought she could handle herself." Finn continued.

"She CAN handle herself. Someone, probably Brad, spiked her drink. I could tell from her eyes she didn't know what she was doing..." Kieran stated. A moment of silence had befallen the conversation before Finn started again.

"So, uh, what are you going to do?"

Kieran replied "I will see to it Brad finally learns his lesson. It's only befitting seeing as he won't be here next year. He went too far this time."

"And I'm more than happy to help you." Finn said.

"Thanks." Kieran answered, finally cracking a smile. They shook hands on their verbal agreement and continued on until they reached their dorms. Just before entering his room, Kieran halted a moment and asked "Hey, if you're really in this, I'll need to borrow your GPS watch, the one you use for running. And could you meet me tomorrow around 6 am? Oh and come dressed in your running clothes."

"Whoa, you already have a plan? Why so early?" Finn questioned.

"You'll see in the morning." Kieran replied. Finn did as he asked and then went to bed. "Whatever Kieran's got planned, will probably be hysterical if he wants to do it that early..." He smiled inwardly. "Brad's gonna get it."

A/N:

How are you feeling? Has Brad been locked into a torture chamber in your mind?

And what of Kieran's plan? What do you think it will be?

How about Kendra? Or Bonnie? What do you think of their interactions with Finn? Any others you noticed this chapter?

I'm going to update Fired Up to be Good by Thursday, I promise!
