Things settle into a routine after Adam and Samandriel get out of the hospital.

Sam hangs out with Gabriel after school, either at the park – not Cas' park – or at the Milton household. They 'talk' and 'do homework' but Dean's pretty sure they're more than friends at this point.

Anna has taken to hanging out with Charlie after school at her place. Dean's not sure if Charlie has made her move yet or if she's going to keep things platonic between them. He does know that there's something there and Anna is more than interested in that something.

Jo and Ash are learning the ropes at the Roadhouse because Jo wants to take over the family business when she can and Ash follows her like a lost puppy.

Adam and Samandriel spent unholy amounts of time together and Dean is positive they've done the deed and he gives his baby brother unlimited amounts of hell about it. Of course Adam throws a fit every time. And Samandriel is almost never over at the Singer Salvage Yard.

Garth is spending time…well Dean really doesn't know where Garth is, but he swings by every so often, so they know he's okay.

Which leaves himself and Cas. Castiel spends most of his free time at the Singer Salvage Yard with Dean. The two are closer than ever.

Which leads to the situation right now; Dean and Cas are going to play Call of Duty with Sam and Gabe who are at the Milton house for the weekend. Alone. Dean reminds himself to give Gabe 'the talk'.

He and Cas get the game set up and answer Sam's call request only to hear, "-beat me and Dean, you can fuck me into your futon all weekend."

"That is not where I wanted to hop into the conversation." Dean calls, but laughs because there's no way Gabe and Cas are going to beat him and Sam.

He continues with, "Don't be a tease, Sam."

"Oh, but you know I'm serious, Dean!" And that's what worries the eldest Winchester.

The game starts after deciding on the Winchesters versus the others.

And watching Cas try to kill him is pathetic, really. He's spent most of his life playing videogames, even as a side hobby, and Cas plays like he's never touched a controller. Also, Castiel gets extremely frustrated by this. So frustrated that he accuses Dean and Sam of cheating multiple times and at one point he gives the most adorable glare that Dean thinks about letting Cas kill him a few times. Not like it would help them any.

He can hear Gabe accusing them of something, but Dean's really not paying attention. He doesn't really pay attention to the other end until there's a loud thump and Gabe's character stops moving.

"Sammy?" He calls over the headset.

"H-HeLP! Dean! Ga-Gabe STOP!" Dean rolls his eyes at his little brother.

There's some more scuffling before silence.

And Dean's fine with silence.

No really.

Silence is wonderful.

It beats hearing his little brother moaning.

He throws his headset across the room and turns off their game before things can get any weirder. Dean and Cas stay still for a few minutes before Dean turns to Cas and mutters, "Well there goes my libido for the next three years."
