For the purpose of this story, Firenze is not a teacher.

The Hall was full of students chattering about how they were yet to get their class timetable. Neville sat right next to Harry trying not to smirk at the sour look on Malfoy's face as he picked at his bacon and eggs. Harry looked quite distracted this day and kept glancing up to the staff's table and then taking a note of something that Neville could not read as it was too messy. Harry's head shot up and looked at Neville.

"Neville, your Grandmother has a seat on the Board of Governors right? And you are the heir to the Longbottom family?"

"Actually, I am the Lord of the Ancient and Most Noble House of Longbottom. And yes she is. Why's that Harry?" Neville asked in confusion.

"Because I am thinking of putting a stop to subjects like History of Magic, Divination and Muggle Studies, and bringing in new, up to date subjects like Sword fighting, Magical Society and Government which would be compulsory to any witch or wizard that was raised in the muggle world and Muggle Society and Government which is the equivalent of Muggle studies but have say a Muggleborn as a teacher so what they are learning is actually true and up to date, and getting a decent teacher for each of them. A couple of other subjects as well for the 6th and 7th years. The reason being that we need to prepare for the upcoming war and use all the skills and resources we can to give us the advantage. I was wondering who else is on the Board of Governors?"

"Well theres Malfoys dad, Lord Nott, Lady Bones, Lady Bell, Lord Patil, Lady Greengrass, Lord Abbott, Lord Zabini, Lady Li, Lady Turpin, Lord Parkinson and Lord Goyle."

"Thanks Neville, I'm going to write letters to them asking what they would like the subjects to be at school."

"Alright Harry"

Harry pulled out a new piece of parchment and started his letter to Lucius Malfoy.

Mr Lucius Malfoy
the Noble and Most Ancient House of Malfoy

I hope this letter reaches you in good health. My name is Lord Potter-Black but may know me as Harry Potter. For now, I am willing to set aside our differences so the old ways of our world are reinstated. I have recently come to my heritage and been informed that I am the sole heir to the four founders, Hogwarts, and Merlin himself. This means that I am able to make changes to Hogwarts if I wish. I know that you will not be very pleased with this, but I am asking for help. I was brought up in the muggle world because a meddling old fool named Albus Dumbledore. I had no idea about the Wizarding World until I was 11. I found out that who I called family was only my friends because they were being payed. Yes I am meaning the Weasley's. I am asking for your advice. Instead of some pathetic subject that are taught here such as Divination and Muggle Studies, I want to replace them with subjects like Sword fighting, Duelling, Martial Arts, Healing, Animagus, Magical Society and Government which would be compulsory to any witch or wizard that was raised in the muggle world and Muggle Society and Government which is the equivalent of Muggle studies but have say a Muggleborn as a teacher so what they are learning is actually true and up to date, and getting a decent teacher for each of them. Take the money out of the Hogwarts vault for the stationery and the pay for teachers. A couple of other subjects as well for the 6th and 7th years. I am wanting to uphold pureblood traditions and embellish in the fact there is no Dark and Light, Only Magic. Please contact me asap with your opinion.

Lord Potter-Black
the Noble and Most Ancient House of Potter and Black.

He sent all the Governors similar letters explaining his intentions and hoped for a positive response from the Board.

A few days past after Harry had sent the letter without incident. He was in the middle of writing his potions essay when Hedwig came throughout the Ambrosius Common Room window with a two letters. He jumped up eagerly and grabbed them off his beautiful owls leg and read the writing not the front. One of them said Board of Governors and one had the Malfoy family crest as its seal. He decided to open the one titled Board of Governors.

Lord Potter-Black,

The Board of Governors have had an emergency meeting to discuss the issues you presented us in your letter to each one of us. We all agree that Hogwarts has been losing the old ways that our ancestors went by. We never knew how bad the subjects had got. We ask that with your power, you first ask Headmistress McGonagall to remove Muggle Studies, Divination, and History of Magic. Also ask to apply Magical Society and Government and make it compulsory for any muggle-raised student for their first two years. They can carry it on if they wish in third year, but it will not be compulsory. Apply sword fighting for thirds and up, Martial Arts available from first, Duelling for seconds and up, Healing for fourths and up, and Animagus for sixth and up, History of the Wizarding World as a core subject, and as an option, Divination can be taught to students who possess the talent and are willing for extra lessons. If the Headmistress will not have any of it, ask her to think about it and take it to the Board of Governors. Either way, it will be done. Remove Professor Trelawney, Professor Binns, Professor Burbage, and Mr. Filch as they are useless teachers. Professor Trelawney has no seer blood in her, and she does not possess any talent for her subject. Professor Binns does not teach students properly and the O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. grades are dreadful. Professor Burbage is teaching things that are over 50 years out of date. Mr. Filch is a horrible man and doesn't do his job properly. Do this once you get the letter, and we will sort out teachers by tomorrow morning, and make it so all the subjects are available to the students in the years required and so they are able to choose their subject electives for this year. The stationary will be given to the students so they aren't having to buy more. Thank you Lord Potter-Black for bringing back our old ways.

Board of Governors

Harry was surprised at the reply but decided to go straight to McGonagall after he had read his other letter.

Lord Potter-Black,

I appreciate you bringing back the old ways of the Wizarding World and I respect you for that. I wish to talk to you in person if that is possible to discuss the welfare of this school. I was wondering if I would be able to fire call you to prove I am not what you think I am. Put up as many wards as you wish, and as soon and you answer my call, I will give a magical vow to show I am indeed telling the truth. Please consider this. Thank you for your time.

Harry was astounded by the rely, especially Malfoy's reply. He scribbled a note stating the time and place and what to call for in the fire call. Indeed Harry would set up wards just in case it was a trap. Remembering the other letter, he stood up from the chair and walked out of the Common Room, through the Tunnels and the Doors, and strode up to the Headmistress' office.

Once he got there, he realised something. He didn't know the password. He decided to test his power over Hogwarts.

"Excuse me Mr. Gargoyle, would you allow me to pass being the Lord of Hogwarts?" He politely asked the statues.

"Of course Milord, any time." Harry thanked them and entered into the statue behind them that now wasn't a bird, but a cat.

"Rise please" He said and the cat statue started to turn and spiral upwards up to a door that Harry knocked lightly on. He heard the faint voice of the Headmistress say 'Come in' before summoning up the courage and opening up the door and entering ion the office, not knowing how much impact this would have on the war.

Right so another chapter done and dusted! Any clue who the new teachers will be? I will give you a hint. They will not all be human. Review who you think some or all the teachers will be? Thanks guys! :)
