Chapter 3

It was a bright sunny day in konohagakure. people walked about chatting to one another whilst doing their daily shopping in the beautiful market district, couples sat in the park or by the lake having dates. Animals ran around through the streets. It was during this day that kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze, wife of the hokage Minato Namikaze and mother of Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, was doing her shopping at the Konoha superstore. Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze was one of the most beautiful women in the whole village. She had fiery red hair, fair skin and violet eyes. She wore a short sleeved tan kimono like blouse that was held closed by a dark black obi. On her thighs was the Konoha head band showing that she is actually a kunoichi and upon her feet were brown ninja sandals.

She walked down the aisle picking up all kinds of healthy foods and placing them in her basket. She continued to do this until she came across the ramen section which cause her to stop right in her tracks.

'hmm, should i get some or not?' She thought to herself,'well Naruto has been good lately and has been training hard, i suppose he deserves a treat'

Kushina nodded to herself with a small smile on her face and place some miso ramen into her shopping basket and walked towards the tills to pay. After she had paid the price of £45 she exited the shop and began her journey home, Or she would of if she hadn't bumped into her friend, Mikoto uchiha.

Mikoto Uchiha was the next most beautiful women in konohagkure. She had fair skin and long black hair, with bangs hanging of either side of her face, roughly framing her cheeks and black eyes. She wore a brown blouse with a dark purple skirt and blue shinobi sandals. In her hands were shopping bags, showing that, just like Kushina, she had been out shopping.

"Ah, Kushina-chan!" Mikoto said, quite loudly if i may add, with a smile framing her beautiful face.

"Mikoto-chan?" Kushina replied with a surprised look on her face which quickly turned into a smile, "how are you? how have you been?"

"I'm fine Kushi-chan and have been fine for the whole time since you last saw me" Mikoto answered with a slight, cocky smirk on her face "hopefull you have been as well?"

"yup!, and i see you still have that weird way of talking" Kushina said as both her and Mikoto began to walk down the street with one another, "so how's Sasuke-chan and Itachi-kun?"

"Ah, Sasuke is doing just fine, he's at that age where he just want to be exactly like his older brother" Mikoto replied with a small smile, "and itachi is doing some...improtant matters" when Mikoto said this kushina nodded her head in understanding, it was no secret between the two that Itachi Uchiha was in the anbu, and elite force of ninja that go on top secret, and dangerous, missions."i have to ask you though, Kushi-chan, how is Naruto-chan?"

"well you see Mikoto, this is quite a long story, but i'm sure we have the time" kushina said," ah look a coffee shop, lets sit down and have a cuppa whilst i tell you" and with that both Mikoto and Kushina sat down so that Kushina could begin her small but exciting tale.

(Would like to say this is not part of kushinas story!I may or may not do that story, it depends!) It kept on happening, again and again and again! he just couldn't do the technique. When he first saw his dad do it he believed it was a simple technique, that all he had to do was turn his chakra into a ball that could fit in his hand, but no! It was way harder than that, way more complicated and he just couldn't figure out why! he had been trying and trying for two days to get his chakra into a sphere shape so he could start kicking ass! and here he was, struggling, the Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, the child prodigy,an even bigger prodigy than Itachi Uchiha, the youngest, yet one of the strongest shinobi in the village.

Despite how complicated the technique was he continued to push onwards, though his frustration was getting the best of him. After another hour of training Naruto stopped as he was beginning to get exhausted. He approached the pond that was in the training ground and dunked his head straight into the water, yes straight in it. He pulled his head out of the water and shook his head, his wet hair flying from left to right like something out of a movie. Naruto then cupped his hands together and scooped out water from the pond, quickly putting it in his mouth and gulping it down.

'stupid technique, why is it so hard!' Naruto angrily thought to himself as he began to thing of a variety of different ways in which he could master the technique.

'Spin it towards me? no, maybe in a direction that is away from me' he thought to himself as he calmed down,'hmm when dad does it he...' Naruto's thoughts stopped there until he began to walk towards a large boulder and whack his head off it. 'Stupid...Stupid...Stupid' he angrily thought,'it was so easy that it was...hard!'

After 10 minutes of his raving and ranting Naruto slowly walked towards the centre of the training grounds, he knew exactly what he had to do.

3 Hours Later

Slowly the front door of the Uzumaki-Namikaze mansion opened as a weary and beaten Naruto entered the house. His clothes were more like rags as they had been torn apart and Naruto himself was covered in blood from head to toe. He heavily panted as he closed the door and moved towards the kitchen where he could hear his parents talking to each other. As he slowly moved through the hallway the smell of food invaded his nose and he smiled slightly as he realised that his mum was cooking miso ramen.

"Oh hey...son?" Minato said, or more like asked as Naruto entered the kitchen followed by a slight blood trail. Worry was etched upon Minatos face from the sight of his son. All of a sudden a plate smashed on the floor as Kushina had turned around going into a state of shock upon seeing her son, both hands quickly moving to her mouth as she gasped.

"Naruto!" Exclaimed Kushina.

"hey mum, dad" Naruto wearily replied, "i managed to do that technique" he added with a smile on his face as his eyes closed and he fell to the floor with a thud due to passing out.
