Past Present and Future

Blaze woke up after the sun was high above the land. His body was full of sap and wood with grass stuck to his body. His throat felt like he shoved a piece of dry wood down it. As soon as he got up on all four hooves he threw up. After he was done throwing up what felt like his whole stomach he got out of the forest and saw all of the stuff he had bought on the floor. He looked at the bag and picked it up and walked home feeling pain all over his body.

He finally made it home after what felt like hours and he knocked on the door. Octavia answered, who had tear marks on her face, "Blaze!" she yelled hugging him getting the sap all over herself. "What the heck happened? I was so worried."

Blaze pulled himself to walk to the couch and laid down there, "Bane," he said with a really hoarse voice.

"Again? Do you remember what happened?" she said inspecting his body.

"I-I think he ate a Timber Wolf."

"It doesn't look like there's anything wrong with your body. We should still get you to a hospital," she said picking sticks and grass off of his body.

"No. They would ask too many questions. I can't afford that. I'm just gonna take a bath. Could you make me some hot tea?"

Octavia had doubts but said, "Sure. Here let me help you up," she said helping him up and taking him to the bathroom and ran the bath for him. He got in it and washed himself off. Before Octavia came back with his tea he felt Bane again. This time only half way.

"That was a good meal last night," Bane said in his deep evil voice. "You just had to throw it up didn't you?"

"You got splinters in my throat!"

"Next time I'll eat a bear or better yet a pony…how about your little marefriend?"

"Don't you dare! She is my everything and she is having my foal."

"Okay I'll eat your foal. You can just keep mating with her and make more food for me."

"SHUT UP!" he yelled as Bane left and Octavia walked through the door.

"Blaze?" she said worried about him.

"Nothing. Bane came back again."

"This is too much. We need the Doctor's help. Bane is becoming too unstable."

"I know, but how are we going to find the Doctor? It's not like there's anypony keeping a tab on him."

Octavia thought about it for a moment, "The princesses! Maybe they know something about him and if not they might be able to help either way."

Blaze knew that it was probably their safest bet. "Okay, we can go see them after I get all this sap off," he said scrubbing himself all around.

"Here I've got your back," Octavia said grabbing her sponge and scrubbing down his back.

About an hour or so later they headed out to the Castle. The train was the fastest way to get there and it was actually quite relaxing. There were hardly any ponies on the train and they had one cart all to themselves.

"Why do you think the train is mostly empty?" Blaze said sitting back and enjoying the ride.

"Well there's no special events coming up any time soon," she said sitting next to him. A few minutes into the ride they both fell asleep. Nice quiet ride with the cart jumping up and down slightly. One of the train managers actually had to wake them up when they got to Canterlot.

"Excuse me? Hello?" he said shaking Octavia awake cause she was closer to him.

"Mhh, what? What's going on?" Octavia said opening her eyes.

"Miss you guys have arrived. Please get off the train. We need to get moving," the stallion said as kind as he could.

"Oh sorry. Guess we fell asleep. Blaze," she said shaking him. "Blaze, we have to get off. We're here," she said as he stirred.

"Ugh, five more minutes," he said but then his eyes went wide, and they were red. "I'm hungry," Bane said in a deep dark voice.

Octavia jumped back, "Blaze! Snap out of it!" Even the train manager stepped back in fear at how Blaze looked. His red eyes glew even brighter than usual.

He smiled those horrid teeth at her, "Food!" he then tried to jump on her but she jumped to the side falling down with the other stallion.

"Quickly! We have to get out of here!" she said getting up and running out the door.

"What the heck is that!?" the stallion yelled as he ran out behind her.

"I don't know! But he keeps possessing my stallionfriend!" she said running into the train station.

Bane bust through the side of the train and yelled. The few ponies that were there started screaming and running away. Bane looked around and saw a cute little filly not too far from him. She was looking up at him almost as if she was wondering if he was real or not.

Bane smiled and grabbed her, "Ah! Mommy! Daddy!"

Octavia looked out the train station window and saw that he was about to eat her. "We can't let him take another poor soul!" she said looking around and seeing a trash can. She quickly pulled the circular lid off of it and threw it at him like a Frisbee.

It hit him in the side just as he was about to swallow here whole. It didn't hurt at all but he felt it and turned to look at Octavia, smiling as he did so but then he heard somepony yelling, "NOOO!" from his side. Just as he turned to look at who yelled a magical beam came out from his other side and blasted him back forcing him to drop Moonshine.

Cadence was paying for her ticket and then heard the horrible screams, "Ah! Shining! Moonshine!" she said running out to where she had left them but then several ponies pushed her back as she tried to head out. "Ugh! Out of the way! I need to save my daughter!" she said getting hostile and pushing them out of the way.

She ran outside and saw the red stallion holding her daughter. "NOOO!" she yelled.

Shining, Cadence, and Moonshine had just arrived at the train station, "I'll go get the tickets. You stay here with Moonshine," Cadence said as she walked inside to the counter.

Shining smiled as he saw his beautiful wife walk in. Then he turned to look at Moonshine and sighed, "How did I get so lucky to be with a mare like her?"

She giggled, "Mommy told me how dorky you acted when you two were in school together. She said you even sang her a song."

"Hey it was a really good song!" he said blushing and took a sip of his giant drink.

"Mommy says you shouldn't drink those things. She says it always makes you have to go potty a lot."

"Well honey, mommy isn't always right," he said in a 'as a matter of fact' voice, but then he felt the sudden urge to have to go to the bathroom. "Um, sweet heart. Please stay close. I'll be right back," he said quickly running into the nearby bathroom.

"Hehehe, silly daddy," she said looking at the train. Two ponies ran out. One was wearing a uniform. She then saw a red stallion come out but he looked different. She heard a bunch of ponies screaming but ignored them as they ran past her.

Bane smiled and grabbed her, "Ah! Mommy! Daddy!"

"Hmm, such purity," he said lifting her up and opening his mouth.

"AAAHHHHH!" she yelled but Bane suddenly stopped and turned to look at the train station. She saw a trashcan lid role onto the floor.

"NOOO!" she heard Cadence yell from her side.

"Mommy!" she turned to look as Bane did too.

Shining came out of the bathroom. He hadn't even heard any of the screaming and suddenly saw Moonshine in the hands of some monster looking stallion. Without thinking he shot at him with one of his spells and he was sent flying back.

Cadence saw the stallion fly back a couple of yards and then turned back to look at Moonshine who was in some type of magical bubble. Shining quickly brought her to him. "Moonshine! Are you okay!?"

Cadence ran up to the two and right when Shining's magical bubble disappeared she hugged her tightly. "Oh Moon! I was so worried about you!"

"It's okay mommy," she said with such a sweat innocent voice that it actually did make her feel better. "Daddy saved me."

Bane was lying on his back but his teeth were starting to disappear, and his eyes weren't glowing through his eye lids anymore. Blaze opened his eyes looked up to see what had happened but then passed out…again.

"Blaze!" Octavia said running up to him. She quickly opened his mouth just to make sure he wasn't still Bane. "Oh Blaze! You really do need help!" she said hugging him.

Cadence and Shining walked up to her, "What the heck was that!" Shining yelled. "This monster almost killed my daughter!"

"He's not a monster anymore! He's just a pony again."

"What do you mean? This pony tried to eat my daughter!" Cadence also yelled.

"It wasn't Blaze's fault. It was Bane's."

"What are you talking about?" he said taking a closer look at the stallion. He looked like any other random stallion.

"He's…possessed," she said the simplest thing that she could think of. Saying he was a vessel was probably less believable.

"Is it some kind of spell?" Shining said opening his eye lid to see if there was anything unusual.

"I don't know. I seriously don't know, but it's already happened 3 times in the last day. We have been together for a couple of months and he hadn't had any episode in a really long time."

Shining was really interested in all of this. He had never heard of anypony being possessed except himself, "Why are you guys here?" Cadence asked.

"We were going to see the Princesses to see if they knew anything on how to help him."

Shining nodded, "Let's get him to the castle," he said putting him in a magic bubble, so he could carry him.

"So much for our lovely vacation," Cadence said walking back to the castle with all of them. Moonshine was on Cadences back.

Octavia looked up at Moon and smiled. Maybe someday she would have a filly or colt of her own. And even though it seemed almost impossible since she had barely been pregnant for a few days she felt something in her womb.

…

It was almost noon and Discord and Celestia were in her room. Discord was at a corner typing stuff in a typewriter, with stupid looking glasses. Celestia started to run a bath, "Oh, I'm up for a bath! I even brought my speedo," he said standing up with one on.

Celestia just smiled, "No, I need you to go wake up Luna. She has been asleep for far too long," she said as she got into the tub.

"Aww, fine," he said walking out. Celestia looked at him as he walked out and his speedos were actually wedged up his butt so she could easily see his butt cheeks even with his tail swishing around. "You are disgusting Q!" she said smiling then dipping her head under the warm water.

Luna's doors opened with magical applause, confetti, and a marching band marching in. "Rise and shine Lulu!" Discord yelled as the marching band kept playing. He looked at the bed then looked at the opened bathroom door. There was nopony there. "What the heck?"

He checked under the bed, under the tables, under the sink, and under the pillows. "Where the heck could she possibly be?" he said looking around. He turned on his x-ray eyes and started looking all over the castle.

"Empty. Empty. Slutty maid. Normal maid. Guards guarding the door to an empty room. Guard getting it on with a maid," he kept looking around but then he looked at the entrance and saw Cadence, Moonshine, Shining Armour, Octavia and Blaze.

"Hm, what the heck is going on," he said as he magically appeared in front of the door. There were guards at the entrance of the door on both sides. The guards were shocked. They had never seenDiscord magically appear somewhere without a fancy random spell.

"What!? I get tired at times too!" they looked away from him quickly but then looked back. "Fine, you want random, here," he said snapping his fingers and making the whole entrance become magically filled with snow.

The doors then opened and the five ponies walked in, "Yay! Snow!" Moonshine said as she jumped off of Cadence so she could play in the snow.

Cadence just rolled her eyes, "Discord we need to talk with the princesses."

"Well Celestia is taking a bath, and I have no idea where Luna is."

Jenny Jewel heard them as she was dusting some busts, "If she's not in her room she's probably in room 33."

They all turned to look at her, except Moonshine, "Mommy! Do you wanna build a snowman?"

She smiled, "Sure thing. Shining you go talk with the princess. She what she can get done with…"

"Bane," Octavia said finishing her sentence. "Blaze should be fine soon enough," she said as they walked up to the room.

Blaze stirred, "Ugh, what happened? Where am I?" he said seeing everypony. "Oh no, not again." Shining released him from the bubble, and he landed on his hooves.

Octavia hugged him, "Nopony got hurt. Shining and Cadence stopped you before you could do anything bad.

"Okay good. This is getting out of hand," he said. "Where are the princesses?"

"We are heading up to go see Luna right now," Discord said as they walked.

"So Discord," Shining asked, "What's it like having to hide in this castle?"

"Oh the guards don't say anything according to Celestias orders. I just have to hide from ponies when we have parties."

They arrived to room 33 and walked in. At first it looked like a normal hotel room but a little bit bigger but when they saw Luna on the bed sleeping with the green pony that had helped Octavia they gasped. Even Discord gasped but late because everypony else really was surprised.

Luna was hugging ID closely. They were facing each other too, so ID's face was buried in Luna's chest. Before anypony else could say anything Octavia yelled, "That's the pony who killed Rich!"

Shining Armor had kept up with the news and had heard about what had happened. Luckily he and his family weren't even there when it happened.

Octavia's shout caused both of them to stir, "Ugh, five more minutes," Luna and ID said at the same time. When Luna and ID noticed the ponies they quickly got up.

"What are you doing in my room!?" ID shouted and then saw that he had been cuddling with Luna, "What are you doing in my bed!? What the heck is going on?" he said backing up away from Luna.

Luna looked sad, "You don't remember, do you?"

"No! And what are all of you guys doing in here?" he now said to the others.

"We were looking for Princess Luna. That slutty maid told us she was here," Octavia said.

Both ID and Luna both said at the same time again, "She's not a slutty maid."

Discord couldn't help but laugh, "Oh these two love birds are perfect for each other!" he said snapping his fingers and making the bed a pink heart shaped bed. Not only that, but Luna was wearing sexy red panties while ID wore some tighty whities.

"AHHH!" they both yelled and pulled up the covers over themselves. "Discord! Stop that!" they both said yet again. He rolled his eyes and snapped again. The bed turned back and the underwear disappeared. "I hate you so much!" Luna said trying to hide her blush and embarrassment.

ID got up, "Okay I have to get out of here."

"Timid wait," Luna said by accident. ID stopped dead in his tracks.

"Princess!" Octavia yelled. "We really don't have time for this! We need to talk to you about Blaze!"

"Blaze? Did he have another one of his episodes?" Luna turned to look at them.

"Yes, but not just one, it was several of them. Bane is becoming more active now. We need your help," she said.

"We need to talk with Celestia. There must be a way of communicating with the Doctor…ID!"

ID turned around, "What?"

"Don't you have a way of communicating with the Doctor?"

"Well, from what we've seen the Doctor is very picky about who travels in time. I have my time machine but last time I used it, it malfunctioned and then I ended up here."

"So you don't feel comfortable in using it?" Discord asked. "What if somepony else used it?"

"Um," ID was hesitant, "I don't know if I would trust anypony else in using it. Plus what if they end up in the wrong time period and can't figure out how to get back? I can't risk it," he said looking at the device on his wrist.

"There has to be an easier way," Octavia said. "Luna?"

"I'm sorry. He just shows up at times. I've only seen him about three time."

Blaze spoke up, "Is there anything you could do for me then? We might not even need the Doctor."

Luna thought for a moment, "There might be a way. I can't guarantee it though since nopony has any idea who or what Bane is. Me and Celestia could check all of our books and try and find anything with a case like that."

Blaze thought for a moment, "Do you guys have any spells that could keep him contained?"

Luna instantly thought about Twilight. She was probably a better potions maker than either of the Princess Sisters. "You could check up on Twilight with that. I'm sure she will have something."

"Okay, she doesn't live too far away from where we live," Octavia said.

"Here, let's go check up on Celestia," Discord said as he walked behind Shining, Blaze, and Octavia out of the room.

ID and Luna were left in the room, "So why were you in my bed? No, more important question is how did you know my real name?"

Luna felt ashamed, "You had a nightmare. About you and a pink pony. You then woke up panicking and I tried to comfort you. I guess you don't even remember," she said getting up and walking towards the door.

ID sighed, "Luna, I'm sorry. A lot has happened in my life and it's not all sunshine and rainbows. I was hoping that I could just forget it. I even lied to Jenny about me not having a marefriend."

"Yeah she told me that. I felt bad for you, but now I feel even worse. I'm sorry about everything," she said turning back.

"It's okay. The past is in the past," (Frozen) he said sitting on his bed.

"No! You have a serious problem! You had a panic attack!"

"I've been getting them for quite a while. That one was just a really strong one. Usually they aren't so…graphic."

"Maybe since I was in there it amplified everything. I'm sorry," she said sitting next to him.

He hugged her, "Thank you for everything. You've shown me how to love again."

Luna was a bit shocked that he said that but then hugged back with a smile on her face. "So, what does that mean exactly?"

There was a long pause, "Nothing. I'm from the future you're from the present."

"Am I alive in the future?" she asked not letting go.

"Out of the four princesses alive right now only one is alive in the future," he said letting go of her. She kept hugging and actually held him closer.

"Tell me."

He chuckled, "I can't. You're squeezing me pretty hard," he said trying to wiggle out.

"Hehe not till you tell me. I can hold you forever."

"Well then I guess you'll have to," he said smiling.

Luna's smile faded, "You're the only pony who truly understands me. You make me feel safe," she said looking at him.

"What? But I've yelled at you and avoided you and…"

"SHH," she said putting her hoof to his mouth. "Even after all of that I still lo-like you," she said quickly.

ID looked down at her chest, "There is another who will understand you…I'm sure even more than me…"

"What?" she said looking into his eyes.

"It's a little filly that you will love for all of her life…and all of yours. She's gonna change the winter months forever."

"Who?" Luna said really curious now.

"I can't tell you anything about her, but her name is Snowdrop."

...well...did anybody notice that the chapter titles spelled out Snowdrop? Yes she will be introduced into the story arch eventually, and if you haven't seen the Snowdrop episode on YouTube I recommend that you do. I cried at the end. Hope you enjoyed.
