AN: I used an online translator for the Spanish in this chapter.

Three weeks later Antonio returns to the apartment from fishing. He leaves the gear in his car and carries the fish inside. He puts it in the refrigerator and heads to the master bedroom. He enters the room and sees Tracy is still fast asleep. He goes over to the bed to wake her up. He tells her it's time to get up. He hears a moan and sees her slowly starting to open her eyes.

"Antonio, you forget that campus is only an hour away. My first class doesn't start till 9:30." Tracy says.

"You don't want to be late on your first day. Do you?" he asks.

"Well no" she answers.

He kisses her on the forehead and leaves to go make breakfast.

Tracy rubs the sleep from her eyes and gets out of bed. She goes to the master bathroom to take a shower. Twenty minutes later she gets out of the shower and heads to the walk in closet. She moves a few hangers aside until she finds the outfit she bought at Forever 21 a week ago. (Which is a Geo Chiffon Trimmed top, zip pocket faux leather pants, and a pair of high-voltage faux leather booties.) She puts it on and walks over to the dresser against the wall. She opens the jewelry box. She takes out an Heirloom Filigree Bib necklace and romantic Rosette hair clips. She sets them on the desk. She picks up her glasses and puts them on. She sees her reflection in mirror and is happy to see that all the injuries that Lauri gave her were gone. She puts the necklace on, brushes her hair and puts the hair clips in. She closes the jewelry box and leaves the room.

Tracy walks into the dining room and sees Antonio set two plates full of food down on the table. He looks to his left and sees Tracy.

"You look great my little angel fish." he says.

"Thanks my golden knight." she says.

They sit down and eat breakfast. Antonio finishes his breakfast a few minutes later. He looks over at Tracy and notices that she just moved the food around on the plate to make it look like she ate some. Antonio clears his throat. Tracy sets down her fork and looks up at him.

"¿Qué pasa, mi amor?" Tracy asks.

"Tracy, your still nervous about going to class today aren't' you?" he answers.

"No, ¿por qué dices eso?" Tracy asks.

"First of all you're speaking Spanish. Second you're playing with your food." He answers.

"Bien, me has Antonio. No estoy listo para ir a la Universidad quizás que debería esperar hasta el próximo otoño" Tracy says.

Antonio gets out of his chair and walks over to her. Tracy looks over at him.

"Yes you are my little angel fish. You just have to relax and just be yourself." Antonio says.

"Dices para hacerme sentir mejor." Tracy says.

"No I'm not it's the truth." He tells her.

Then she gets out of her chair and kisses him on the cheek.

"Sé a mi caballero de oro. Nunca me mentiría." Tracy says.

Antonio cups her cheeks with his hands and kisses her back on the lips. He backs away slowly and sees a small smile on her face.

"There is that amazing smile." he says.

Tracy chuckles and pulls him back in towards him. This kiss was more passionate than the last. Their second kiss ends. He tells her that it would be a bad idea to go to class on an empty stomach. Tracy sits back down and eats her breakfast.

Antonio picks up both of their plates and puts them in the dish washer. Tracy walks over to the front door and takes her shooting star book bag and purse off the coat rack. Antonio turns on the dishwasher. He looks to his left and sees Tracy's car keys hanging on the hook on the wall.

"Tracy, you were going to drive to campus today right?" Antonio asks.

"Yes, why?" Tracy asks.

"Don't you think that you would need the keys?" Antonio answers.

Tracy turns around and walks back into the kitchen. Antonio tosses Tracy her keys.

"Thanks" Tracy says.

"You're welcome." Antonio says.

Tracy turns back around and head to her car. Tracy arrives at Pasadena University an hour later. She gets out of the car and locks it. She walks towards campus. Two boys walk up to her Joshua Valdez and Kenny Jarvis. Joshua is very short has brown eyes and shoot black hair.

"Hi I'm Joshua and this is Kenny. Welcome to Pasadena University. Here have a pen." Joshua says.

When Tracy's hand touches his Joshua feels butterflies in his stomach flutter. Tracy takes her hand away and puts the pen in her pocket.

"Hi Joshua, Kenny, it's nice to meet you. I'm Tracy by the way." Tracy says.

"Well Tracy that's a pretty name. What does it mean?" Joshua asks.

"It means that my parents were expecting boy." Tracy answers.

"Actually your name can be a girl or boys name. It means guardian in old Greek." Kenny says.

"Thanks Kenny. I really need to get to class. I'll probably see you two around campus right?" Tracy says.

"Actually class is starting soon for me too. Where are you headed?" Joshua asks.

"English comp I, why?" Tracy asks.

"What's the room number?" Joshua asks.

"It's room C 224." Tracy answers.

"What a coincidence that is where my first class is too. We could walk their together." Joshua suggests.

"I guest ht would be ok considering we're gong the same way." Tracy says.

"Great, now I get to prove to me friends that I do have game." Joshua thinks to himself.

Kenny notices Tracy's engagement ring and is going to tell Joshua. Joshua already had taken a hold a hold of Tracy's wrist and gently dragged her away. A few minutes later they get to the building were the class is being held. Joshua let's go of her wrist. He walks to the door and opens it for her. Tracy thanks him. She walks through it and goes inside. Joshua follows behind her up the stairs.

Meanwhile outside the classroom three of Joshua's friends from high school Sandra Jordan, Thomas McConnell, and Owen Roach are waiting for him to show up. Sandra has brown eyes and midnight black hair. Thomas has almond-shaped green eyes and curly brown hair. Owen has droopy eyes and red hair.

"Do you guys think that Joshua will be in time for class?" Sandra asks.

"I doubt it" Thomas answers.

"Yeah, he's probably flirting with some girl who is way out of league." Owen adds.

A few seconds later they see Tracy and Joshua walk up. He introduces Tracy to his friends. They talk until the last class and professor leave the room. Then they walk in the room. Tracy walks over to the second table against the wall with the windows. She sets her bag down in front of the third chair in the row and sits down. She unpack her bag and sets everything in a neat stack in front of her. She looks to her left and sees Joshua sit down next to her. Joshua flashes sweet smile towards her.

"Do you mind if I sit next to you?" Joshua asks.

"Considering you already sat down, no." Tracy answers.

Joshua chuckles at her answer. A few seconds later Tracy feels her purse vibrate. She takes out her phone and sees a picture of her family on the screen. Tracy asks him if he could watch her things.

"I shall guard your things with my life." Joshua says.

Tracy thanks him and leaves to take the call.

"Hello" Tracy says.

"Hi sweetheart, I have good news. Rosalinda is getting married on the 12th of next month." Ballade says.

"That's great so where is wedding going to be held?" Tracy asks.

"It's going to be at your uncle Darrel's farm." Ballade answers.

"Are you sure that his farm is going to be big enough?" Tracy asks.

"Yes, sweetheart, this is just going to be a small wedding with close family and friends." Ballade answers.

"Cool. can Jayden and the others come?" Tracy asks.

"of course sweetie. What are you doing after you get out of class today?" Ballade asks.

"I have to go to the pool in Paradorma to swim in a charity race tonight at seven." Tracy answers.

"Honey, I'll let you go and good luck." Ballade says.

Tracy thanks her mom and hangs up. Tracy puts her phone away and heads back in the room. She sits down in her chair.

"I don't mean to intrude but who called?" Joshua asks.

"My mom she told me that my cousin Rosalinda is getting next month on the 12th." Tracy answers.

"Do you think I can tag along?" Joshua asks.

"Sorry Joshua is only for close friends and family." Tracy answers.

"It's ok I understand. Do you think that you could send me some pictures?" Joshua asks.

"I guess I could do that." Tracy answers.

Joshua takes out a pen and takes her right hand. He writes his email address on her hand.

"You didn't have to do that you know. I could have just written it in my notebook." Tracy says.

"I know but this way you won't lose it." Joshua says.

Tracy just rolls her eyes. A few seconds later they hear the door open again. They look to their left and see Professor Macias walk in. He has green eyes and hair the color of the midnight sky. He sets his brief case on the desk, opens it and takes out a blue folder and several copies of the syllabus to hand out to the class. He goes over to the podium. He takes out the attendance list out of the folder and calls the names on it. He finishes taking attendance a minute later. Then he passes out the syllabus to the class. He spends the next ten minutes to explain it to the class.

"Ok class turn to chapter three in your books." Professor Macias says.

Everyone takes out their books except for Joshua. Tracy asks him how come he doesn't have his book. He tells her that he ordered online. Tracy offers to share her book but just for today. She puts her book in between them. Another ten minutes pass and they finish reading the chapter. Professor Macias tells the class that he wants the class to write their own autobiographies. He writes down the criteria for the paper on the board. Tracy writes it down in her notebook.

The rest of the class is spent doing different things to help everyone get to know each other. The last exercise is interviewing the people at your table. Tracy and Joshua were the only people at their table. They write a few questions in their notebooks. Tracy goes first.

"Do you have any siblings?" Tracy asks.

"No, I'm an only child." Joshua answers.

Tracy writes down his answer. Then she asks him what he looks for in a potential date.

"The girl would have to be pretty, smart, and have a great sense of humor." Joshua answers.

Tracy writes down his answer and notices that he just described her. Tracy's last question is what is your idea of the perfect first date. Joshua says that a perfect first date would be finding a hidden lake somewhere in the city. Then have a rock skipping contest. Afterwards go for ice cream and watch the sun set on the beach. She writes down his answer. Then he asks her his questions and writes down her answers. A few minutes later the class goes over all the interviews. The class ends thirty minutes later. Tracy packs up her things and leaves the room.

"Hey, Tracy, slow down." Joshua shouts.

Tracy turns around to face him and his friends.

"Can you believe that we got homework on the first day?" Thomas asks.

Sondra reminds him that they aren't in high school anymore. Tomas complains that there is no way that he is going to fit his life story on three pages. His friends tell him that he can do it. They head to the cafeteria. They sit down in the corner of the room that has couches against the wall with the vending machines. Tracy takes off her bag and sets it down in front of her feet. Joshua sits down next to her close enough to put his arm around her. Tracy notices how close he is and starts to feel super awkward.

"Could you move back a bit please?" Tracy asks.

"I guess I could." Joshua answers.

He moves away slowly and his fingers brush down her arm.

"Why is he flirting with me?" Tracy thinks to herself.

Sandra can tell by her body language that she feels awkward with this whole moment.

"Hey Tracy, can we talk outside on the hall?" Sandra asks.

Tracy says yes. She gets up and Joshua offers to watch their gear. Sandra thanks him and they leave to room. They make sure that their far away enough so that Joshua can't hear them.

"Tracy, that is an engagement ring on your finger right?" Sandra asks.

"Yes, so why is Joshua flirting with me?" Tracy answers.

"I think that he thinks that it's just a birthday gift." she answers.

"If it was it would be on my right hand." Tracy says.

"Tracy, I know I just met you. I can tell that you're a kind, and considerate person. You want to tell him to stop but you don't know how without hurting his feelings. Look, I'll talk with him." Sandra says.

Tracy thanks her and they head back to the cafeteria. Back in the cafeteria Owen and Thomas are telling Joshua to stop flirting with Tracy. Joshua tells them no because Tracy is the girl he's been waiting for his whole life.

"I'm sorry bud, but you waited too long. Tracy is off the market." Owen says.

"Dude, that ring is just a family heirloom." Joshua says.

"Josh, it's an engagement ring." Thomas says.

"I'm going to make her fall in love with me. She is going to forget her fiancé." Joshua thinks to himself.

Joshua gets up and heads to the café to get some food for him and Tracy. The girls walk back in and sit down on the couches. Thomas asks Tracy what her plans are for the rest for the day. Tracy tells him that she has one more class intro to animal science. Then she has to go to the charity race at seven.

"Man you have a full day." Sandra says. Tracy nods.

Joshua comes back with a tray it has two cheese burgers on it. One is just the way Tracy likes it with lettuce, tomato and mayo. He also has a side of ranch for her to dip her fries into.

"Why is this guy still single?" Tracy thinks to herself.

Tracy tells him that he didn't have to buy her lunch. Joshua tells her that he was doing something nice for the prettiest girl on campus. He hands Tracy her lunch. Their hands touch again and Joshua feels his heart skip a beat. Tracy feels guilty about this but she was hungry. A few minutes later she finished her lunch. She leaves to throw away her trash. She walks back over to the group. Joshua hands Tracy her bag. He holds her hand for a few seconds.

"Joshua, you can let go now." Tracy says.

Joshua apologizes and let's go of her hand. She puts her bag back on. Sandra asks her where she is going. Tracy says that she is going to the library. She says good-bye and leaves the room. Tracy walks in and goes over to the computers. She sits down and logs on. She checks her email. Then she writes and email to Ashley filling her in on her first few hours at Pasadena University. After she hits send she hopes her best friends has some good advice for her. Ashley's opinion means the world to her. She looks at the clock on the bottom of the screen. It reads 1 p.m.

Tracy logs off the computer. She heads to her next class across campus. She gets to class with twenty minutes to spare. She walks in the room and notices that she is the only girl in the entire class. She finds a seat in the second row away front the front of the room. She sits down and takes out her things.

Tracy looks to her left. She sees boy with hooded coffee-colored eyes and silky straight midnight black hair sit down next to her. Tracy introduces herself to him.

"Hi Tracy, I'm Fidel Albert. It's nice to meet you." Fidel says.

They talk for a bit. Then his two friends Darin Huffman and Andreas Daniel walk in. They sit down behind them. After a few more introductions they talk until class starts. Professor Isabella Trujillo walks in the room. She is very short, has a busty build, narrow gray eyes and silky yellow hair.

"That would explains why I'm the only girl in the class." Tracy thinks to herself.

Professor Trujillo passed out the syllabus. She spends the next twenty minutes going over it. She writes down a long list of words on the board that she wants them to review. Tracy writes them down in her notebook. After everyone writes the list down Professor Trujillo starts her lecture about animal physiology. An hour later class is over and Tracy packs up her things. Tracy leaves the room and heads to her car.

She unlocks her car. She gets in and sets her bag in the floor in front of the passenger's seat. She buckles herself in and turns on the car. She backs out of her spot and drives back to the apartment.

"Man I'm so glad that class is done for today." Tracy thinks to herself.
