"What do you mean that you don't where she went?" Antonio asks.
"Honey calm down. She couldn't have gotten too far." Sonia says, "Please, sit down and have some tea."
"Mom, this isn't the time for a tea break. Tracy is out there. She could get lost or hurt." Antonio says.
"Honey, she must have visited her aunt and uncle a few times. Tracy must have learned the terrain." Sonia says.
Antonio realized that his mom made a good point. He walks over to the table and sat down. Sonia pours him a cup of tea. Meanwhile in the forest behind the city Tracy finds her special spot. She sits down on the cave floor. She buries her face in hands. She continued to cry her eyes out. Back at the house Marquis walks in the kitchen. He sees his son is pacing the floor and decided to try calm down their frazzled son.
"Antonio, please stop pacing the floor before you wear a path in it," Marquis says.
"Sorry dad, I can't help feeling that if I was here I could have prevented this from happening," Antonio says.
"Listen, son, this wasn't your fault. If we are playing the blame game this is that Joshua boys fault." Marquis says.
Antonio stops pacing the floor. A few seconds later Luna and Pablo come in the room. Luna sets the ring box in front of his feet. Pablo flies over to Marquis. He takes the note out of Pablo's beak. Antonio picks up the box. He opens it and sees Tracy's engagement ring.
"I don't understand why she would give this back," Antonio says.
"Because Tracy thought that after she told you about Joshua. You would get so upset that you take it back." Sonia answers.
"I would never do that," Antonio says.
"We know that son," Marquis says.
He turns to face is the dad. He sees the note in his hand.
"Dad, are you going to read it the note there may be a clue to where she is hiding," Antonio says.
Dear Antonio,
I'm so sorry for keeping the secret that Joshua was flirting with me from you. I gave the engagement ring back because I don't deserve it. You deserve another girl who's a better person than I am. Please don't come out to look for me. I need some time alone to clear my head.
Tracy
Marquis folds the note back up and puts it in his pocket. He sees that Antonio is clearly upset by what Tracy wrote.
"I don't deserve another girl. The only girl I want to spend the rest of my life with is Tracy." Antonio says.
After Sonia and Marquis hear their son say that they realize how much he cares for Tracy. They know that he is going to look for Tracy. Pablo flies over to the hooks next to the sink. He picks up the key chain off the hook closest to the window. He goes over to Antonio. He sticks out his hand. Pablo lets go of the keys. They softly drop into it.
"The barn key thanks, Pablo." Antonio says.
"De Nada." Pablo says.
Antonio tells his parents that he'll be back soon. Sonia tells him to be careful. He says that he will and leaves the room. He walks to the barn and unlocks the door. He walks over to the stall that his horse Catfish is in (Yes Catfish is an actual name for a horse I looked it up.). Catfish is a yearling (2 years old), reddish coat with black mane, tail, and points (limbs, see socks). Catfish whinnies happily when he sees Antonio.
"Hi, Catfish, do you want to help me find my fiancée?" He asks.
Catfish nods. Antonio pets his neck and smiles. He leaves and comes back with his saddle and bridle. He sets everything on the top of the door. He slowly opens it slowly and walks inside. He tacks up Catfish. He walks Catfish out of the stall and closes the door.
"Ok boy, I'll grab a helmet and we'll head out. He says.
Antonio grabs a helmet off the rack next to the tack room. He puts on the helmet. Catfish walks over to him. He gets on and Catfish walks out of the barn. Marquis is standing outside the door.
"Dad, what are you doing here?" Antonio asks.
"I'm just here to close the door for you." Marquis says.
Marquis closes the door. Antonio gives his dad the keys. Then he taps his heels against Catfish's sides. Marquis watches as the horse gallops away into the forest. Fifteen minutes later Catfish stops when he sees Tracy footprints on the dirt path. Antonio gets off, bends down, and tries to find which direction the prints go. He sees that they head northeast. He gets back on Catfish and follows the tracks.
Meanwhile at Tracy's special place she still is crying. She gets to her feet. She walks towards the entrance. Tracy's vision is blurry because her eyes are filled with her tears. She didn't see the two loose boulders falling towards her. One hits her right shoulder and she falls to the cave floor. The second one lands on her elbow. She screams out in pain. Her scream echoes off the cave walls and the sound travels into the forest.
Back with Antonio, when Catfish hears Tracy's scream. Catfish rears up quickly. Antonio nearly falls off his back. He pulls back the reigns to get Catfish's front hooves back on the ground. Once they are back on the ground he pats his neck.
"Easy boy I'm sure that was Tracy who just screamed." Antonio says.
Antonio gets off Catfish's back. He sits down under the tree to let his horse rest for a bit. Catfish walks over to a small stream. He takes a few sips from it. He walks back over to his owner. After a ten minute break, Antonio gets back on his horse and continued his search for his little angelfish. Back in the cave Tracy tries to sit up but the boulders are too heavy. She lies helplessly and wishes someone would come to her rescue. She sees another loose boulder on the cave ceiling come loose. It falls towards her and hits her on the forehead. It leaves a cut and she blacks out a few seconds later.
Meanwhile, Antonio notices that Tracy's footprints go off the path leading to through the forest. He decides to go off the path. Fifteen minutes later he finds the cave. He gets off Catfish and leads him into the cave. Inside the cave, Tracy hears the sound of footsteps and hooves clomping on the cave floor. Antonio sees Tracy laying unconscious on the cave floor and the boulder on top of her right elbow. He lets go of Catfish's reigns and runs over to her. She hears the sound of Antonio moving boulders off her. After Antonio finished removing the boulders off Tracy's right elbow he uses his trusty scarf for a sling. Catfish opens up one of the saddle bags with his nose. He takes out the first aid hit. Then he walks over to Antonio and sets it in front of him.
"Good thinking boy." Antonio says.
He carefully cleaned the cut on her forehead. He hears her let out a low moan as he dabs the peroxide on it. When he is finished he puts a small bandage on it. He closes the kit and puts it away. Catfish lies down behind his owner. Antonio slowly and carefully moves Tracy. He sets her head in his chest. Tracy recognized the comforting and strength of the arms that are wrapped around her. She slowly started to come around. He looks down and sees her eyes flutter a few times before they open completely. Tracy sees Antonio's face as her vision become clearer a few seconds later.
"Hey my little angel fish, how are you feeling?" Antonio asks calmly.
"Antonio, what part of don't come looking for me didn't you understand? "She answers.
"The don't part mi amor. Did you really think that I would stay at the house if I thought you were in trouble?" He asks.
"No, but how did you find me anyway?" She answers.
Antonio helps Tracy to her feet. They turn around and see Catfish stand up. He starts to lick Tracy's face. She asks Antonio if this horse licking her face has a name.
"Yes. he does. Tracy this friendly boy is my horse Catfish." Antonio says.
Antonio hears Tracy snicker as she hears his horse's name. Tracy pets Catfish's neck near the same spot that works on her horse Snowflake to get her to stop licking her. Catfish stops licking her a few seconds later. Antonio was shocked that she knew about Catfish's special spot on his neck considering that they just meet.
"How did you know if you petted him there he would stop?" He asks.
"I have a horse too her name is Snowflake. She is a white Tennessee Walker. She is around..."she answers.
"Six hands high and her coat shimmer when the sun hits it just like snow." Antonio says.
"Yes, how did you know that?" Tracy asks.
"I saw a horse exactly like that in the paddock when I left to go find you."
Tracy looks over at him. He sees a huge smile appear on her face.
"You're just pulling my leg," Tracy says.
"I'm not kidding mi amor. You can see her for yourself if you let me take you back to the house." Antonio says.
Tracy nods. Antonio smiles, Catfish lays back down so they can get on. Antonio gets on first. Tracy gets on and puts her good arm around Antonio's waist. Catfish gets up slowly. Antonio taps his sides and he walks out of the cave.
