Kim gives her a puzzled look. "How am I still your friends and boyfriend?"
"Let's see, everyone wants to hang out with you and Jason is…"
"Is what?" Kim folds her arms across her chest. "What is wrong with adding more friends into a group huh?" "What happened to the more the merrier?" Kim cocks her head. "Jason has been friendly to me in a brotherly kind of vibe." "I am interested in Tommy remember."
Trini gives Kim a sheepish expression. "Still we all have roles in the group such as Aisha is the shopping queen, Tanya is observant, Zack is the cool one, Rocky is the hungry one, Tommy is the brooding fun one, Adam is the quiet one, Jason is the is the assertive one, Billy is the nerd, and I am the peacemaker." Trini runs a hand through her hair. "With the addition of you well where does that leave our peaceful way of life?"
Kim smiles at Trini. "I will just add a new flair to the group and not disturb the balance." "I could be the fashion and heart of the group."
"I guess that does not sound too bad," Trini gives Kim a weak smile.
"Just to show you how nice I really am Aisha, Tanya, and you can raid my closet whenever you want and just think of the awesome opportunities that come with being my friend." Kim pats Trini on the arm. "I know that people from the outside looking in think that we will not accept them but I can show you that with my help the insiders will accept you all."
Trini gives Kim a hug. "How did you know that was one of my mine gripes?"
"I have seen it all the time rather people move to my side or I just run into someone," Kim grins at Trini. "I am not a snob in disguise taking away your friends and boyfriend."
Trini nods her head. "I understand that now and I am sorry for how I treated you but can you blame me after meeting those two."
Kim laughs, "They can be nerve-racking but they have good hearts."
"I don't know if you guessed yet but I am envious of all that you have and secretly wish that I was you," Trini runs a hand through her hair.
Kim nods her head. "I figured when you put up that wall and I had to think for a second if someone snob really hurt you or did you envy not me in particular but what all I am entitled to because of who I am."
"Yeah, you just have some much and everything is handled and seems to come natural to you."
Kim rolls her eyes. "Ha, I have to work like a slave to accomplish everything from lessons, to school, to gymnastics." "Sometimes I wish I could take it easy and be a normal teen."
"I guess being you does have a down side but then I think of all you have and your looks and I think it balances it all out." Trini shrugs her shoulders.
Kim shakes her head with a smile on her face. "Honestly, I have to remind myself of that sometimes or I think I might just go a little crazy and I would be happy to lend you the reins and let you steer any time you like."
"I think we had better go and join the others before they think we killed each other," Trini grins at Kim. "I definitely will take you up on that offer."
"Sure, Kim leads the way out of the restroom. She slides into a seat next to Tommy. "So did I miss anything interesting?"
Tommy eyes Kim then Trini. "Nothing too interesting happened."
"What happened in the bathroom ladies," Rocky asks with no hesitation.
"Rocky," Tanya hits him in the arm. "Sorry about my boyfriend's boldness."
Trini rolls her eyes. "I am used to it Tanya besides nothing interesting happened in the restroom; we discussed everything like civilized adults and now are good friends."
Jason smiles at his girlfriend. "I am happy to hear that." "The only interesting thing that happened here was Emily and Amy giving Ernie health tips about the food and drinks."
"Those ideas sounded horrible," Rocky shakes visibly. "To turn this nice place into a heath nut hang out spot is atrocious"
"When Rocky brings out the big words I know something interesting went down," Trini laughs. "He only knows a few big words and decides to use them either to sound smart or in a crisis."
Everyone laughs at Trini's comment except Rocky.
"Hey, that is not funny," Rocky huffs.
"Yes it is sweetie," Tanya holds her side. "I am going to enjoy adding new people to our group."
Emily nods her head. "Kim is the queen b and our group back at our school is about this size when we do not let extra people in that will only copy off what Kim does."
"Yeah, like when Ashely wore a headband because Kim decided to wear one every day for a while and she was not even in our clique to wear one." Amy rolls her eyes. "It was our new thing and only close friends and the ones we chose were allowed to wear them."
Kim gives the rangers a nervous look. "So, how about we do add healthy items to the menu to attract people from the Upper East Side to come here but keep other items just the way there are." "Nothing wrong with being adventurous," Kim grins.
"Yeah, Kim is right about that," Tommy smiles back at Kim. I will have to step carefully into her world especially with the way Amy and Emily have talked about her.
"So, Kim guess who is going to pass Trig and get a new car," Amy grins.
I was here for that part of the conversation. "Who," Kim asks.
"This girl," Amy points at herself.
Kim smiles, "Good and you can have Billy help you pick out a great car."
"Of course; he is a genius after all," Amy, laughs.
Emily did not want to be outdone on having a west side boyfriend. "Zack, my birthday is coming up and hearing how good of a dancer you I was wondering if we could perform a dance together or something." Emily smiles at Zack. "I know that I cannot top Kim's birthday but I can come in a close second," Emily tells him.
"I think I will come in a close second," Amy rolls her eyes.
Before Emily could reply, Kim intervened and spoke. "I am sure you both will have amazing parties but I think you two should have a party together since your birthdays are a week apart."
Amy nods her head. "Good idea as always Kim."
"Yeah, that is a good idea," Emily smiles. "That is why Kim is the queen b."
