Elena's View

"Damon, please tell me I just imagined hearing Rebekahs voice," I whisper to him while everyone is talking.

He looks at me then to everyone else, "where did Ally go?" He asks.

"Uh, to answer the door I think," Matt says the conversation continues.

"Oh no," I say to Damon, he stands up and goes upstairs.

"Ally? Ally?...Ally?" I saw him speed over to another room, following him, I saw him on the floor, lying next to a girl. Brown hair, cute out fit…

No.

No.

"Damon please tell me she isn't dead." I say rushing over to them, Ally's head now in his lap.

All of a sudden her eyes burst open. Her head lifts up. She takes a deep breath, refilling her lungs.

"Well, she isn't dead," Damon says, I look to him in shock.

"Rebekah will pay for this Damon. I won't let her get away with it."

"Neither will I." I can't not smile at my boyfriend, and then Ally talks.

"What happened?"

"Well…you want the good or bad news?" Damon asks.

"Damon."

"Okay, good news, now you can't die, you can live forever! Bad news you're a vampire…and you need to drink human blood."

"Va-vamp-vampire?"

"Ally I know this is a lot to take in," I say sitting next to her.

"What about Austin? I have to tell him Damon, I have to." She states.

He looks to me, I nod, we can't expect her to keep all of this from her kinda-sorta-not-quite-but-pretty-much boyfriend.

"You can tell him, you can tell your friends."

She nods, "you knew I was a vampire, how?"

Damon smirks, "I'm one too," she looks at him wide eyed.

I love Ally, but really, she wasn't completely freaked out by being a vampire, but finding out Damon is one is what shocks her? Really?

"So is Stefan, and Caroline, Tyler is a hybrid, half vampire half werewolf –long story, Bonnie is a witch, Jeremy is a hunter and Elena is a vampire."

"Damon I think that was too much at once," I say to him, getting a blood bag from one of the boxes in the room.

"No Elena, it's fine. I have to know all this before I tell Austin, Trish and Dez. How are they going to react, they're never going to talk to me again." She panics as I hand her a blood bag.

Damon places his hands on her shoulders, trying to calm her. I am so glad I'm with Damon, I wouldn't be able to handle this by myself.

"How?" She asks, that's all Damon needs, he knows what she means.

"Rebekah, an original vampire, she was using you to get to something we have, at least she hasn't compelled you yet, you're going to have to start drinking a bit of vervain."

"Damon we can go through that later." I prompt.

"Yeah, so Rebekah came up here, fed you her blood and then snapped your neck," Ally's eyes widened. "But what's important is you drinking this blood," he points to the blood bag laying in her hand.

"Uh" she eyes the bag.

"Here," Damon takes the bag and opens it, passing it back to her, "go on, it's okay."

She liked her lips and looked to the bag, veins came out around her eyes, her fangs came through. She downed the bag, first slowly, then when she got the taste she speeded up. Within seconds the bag was gone.

"Well, someone was hungry. Now, we just have to get you to control your hunger, so when you're around humans you don't want to rip their heads off."

"That can happen?" She physically starts to panic.

"No, well yes" Damon says raising his eyebrows slightly, "rarely."

"What Damon is trying to say, we want you to be able to control it so you can live your life like normal." I smile, "like we do."

"But how do I control it?"

"You think of something else. Think about people you care about."

"I'll try but before I do anything else Austin has to know," she says getting up.

"You sure you wanna do this right now?" I ask standing by Damon, Ally already half way out the door.

"I have too." She goes down the hall.

"She's in denial." Damon says.

"I know, this could go really bad," I say, Damon takes my hand in his.

"Which is why we have to get down there, now."

"Austin, Trish, Dez, I have to tell you something-" I hear Ally say.

"No, we have to tell you something." Damon interrupts. "Before you react, listen," he turns to me, I nod. "I'm a Vampire." Everyone looks shocked, including the Mystic Falls group, not knowing why we are telling them this.

"And I am," I say. "Stefan and Caroline are too," everyones eyes were on me. Austin, Trish and Dez just look confused, though Dez also looks a bit, excited?

"I'm a hybrid," Tyler says, "half vampire, half werewolf – long story."

"I'm a vampire hunter, or use to be, again, long story." Jeremy says, putting an arm around Bonnie.

"And, I'm a witch," Bonnie says with a slight smile.

"One more thing," Ally says while her friends remain quiet, "I'm now a vampire too."

Silence.

"Who turned you?" Matt asks.

"Rebekah ." Damon says.

"This is so cool!" Dez says jumping up out of his seat, "it's like my film is real, great rehearsal guys, a few things though, Ally, you're not meant to be a vampire and Bonnie you're not meant to be a witch."

"Uh, Dez, this isn't your film, it's real." Dez sinks back into his seat, clearly disappointed. Man that boy is strange.

Next thing I know Austin is out of his chair and leaving the house. "Austin wait!" Ally says about to run after him, Damon put an arm in her way.

"What are you doing Damon, I have to talk to him!"

"Give him time Ally, he needs space, I'll handle it." Damon leaves the room to follow Austin.

Ally runs over to Trish and hugs her tight. Trish sits there awkwardly tapping Allys back as she hugged her.

Damon's View

"How'd you find your way here?" I ask sitting down opposite Austin at a table in the Grill.

"I don't know, I was walking and just ended up here," he said still looking down as I slid a shot to him. Looking up he said, "I'm underage."

"And I'm over age," I say downing my shot. He eyed his glass and then downed it.

He stayed silent for a moment, then spoke up, "I just don't get how she could stand there and be so, so calm."

"She's in denial, it happens to a lot of new vampires."

"You act like you've seen this happen loads."

"I went through it, watched Stefan, Caroline and even Elena go through it."

"How are you calm about it. You died, you should be dead."

"Being a vampire isn't all bad you know. We can't die, that's a plus, if someone picks a fight we'll be stronger, we'll always win."

Silence again.

"She died. She died and I never told her how I felt."

"But she's still here Austin. She hasn't changed."

"Now her and Stefan can spend forever together, literally."

"She doesn't love Stefan."

"She'll learn too."

"It's you she loves, even if she doesn't know it yet."

"How do you know?"

"Because, one of the first things she said was 'what about Austin,' she wasn't even worrying about that fact she was a vampire."

"You're not ganna let me have another drink are you?"

"Nope," I smirk, he smiles slightly. "There's still time for you to tell her Austin, this doesn't change anything." He smiles again, slightly.

"Oh look, it's my second favourite blonde," a voice I know all too well says behind me.

"Elena?"

"Katherine," I say turning around to face her.

"Who's Katherine?"

"Oh Austin," she says sitting in a chair between us. "I'm Katherine, Elena's my doppelganger." A giant smirk grows across her face.

Oh this will be fun to explain.
