Hey everyone! Sorry for the wait but I couldn't figure out who I wanted to find Ash, so I went with the most obvious choice. Hope you all enjoy this chapter!
Chapter 5: The Master Plan
Turns out not looking for Ash was the way to find her. James walked into a room only to see Ash practicing in there. She had two pitch black daggers in her hands and was currently beating up on some stuffed straw dummies. He watched her trying to figure out her fighting technique in case it came down to it. However it seemed like she changed every time. She was easily beating the dummies and it appeared she wasn't really paying attention and instead was deep in thought. She must have found a change of clothes because now instead of wearing the outfit she had originally been wearing she was wearing a black tanktop and some loose black shorts as well as sneakers. Her hair was up in a ponytail instead of a bun. He looked at his own outfit. Maybe he should ask her where she got the spare clothes.
"You know, I can still see you there even if I am fighting." Ash said kicking the last destroyed dummy over and turning to James. "If you want to practice just jump in." Then she turned back and walked into a room off to the side coming back out with some punching bags instead of dummies. She flicked her wrist and her knives disappeared. She set up the punching bags and started kicking and punching at them.
"Actually we were just looking for you." James said honestly.
"Why? To question me more?" Ash asked him still fighting hard.
"Originally yes, but to be honest I think it is a waste of time, I mean you've made it clear that you aren't going to tell us anymore than what you have."
"Good at least one of you have caught on. So why are you here then, if not to question me or train?"
"I don't know. I was wondering around by myself and it ended up being me that found you."
"Well you have made no effort to leave so you might as well start doing something. Find a spot, there is a storage room with extra dummies and punching bags if you feel like practice fighting. Or if I recall right, since you are a child of Hecate there might be something you can use to practice magic."
James thought. It wouldn't hurt to train, might as well. "Well just a question is there any place where you can get more appropriate training clothes."
"In the storage room they provide there are sections with our names on it. There is a set of clothes in there to wear for training." As soon as she finished saying that she placed one more kick on the bag and it fell to the ground. She moved on to the next one. James sighed and walked into the storage room. Sure enough there were some shelves each with a name on it.
In his was a set of black running shorts and a green t-shirt. He also found a sword lying in it. Wait that was his sword. How on earth did that get here? He just sighed. These people were more dangerous then he thought. They knew them and somehow managed to get their weapons.
He easily decided he needed to make an alliance with someone. As much as he loved to be on his own, he needed to work with someone to get out of here.
He needed to make sure he got close with the right person. He was weighing his options.
Corrine, Matt, and Seraphina were obvious nos. He would never be able to work well with them. Dexter and Skye were nice people but didn't know how great they would be in a really intense fight. That left Damian, Kiyan, Olivia and Ash. Kiyan and Damian seemed okay but, not James's type. Olivia seemed okay, but he saw her at camp sometimes. She could be…. Weird. He sighed again, that left one option, and she was killing some punching bags out in the training room.
Damian was happily walking around with Kiyan and Corrine. Kiyan was pretty cool. Corrine had some attitude but she was pretty cool after you got to know her. Damian though like everyone else was occupied on finding a good team to be on. He needed a good team with many different skills. He liked Kiyan and Corrine, but they all seemed to have similar skills. They were all warriors, him and Kiyan both had powers over darkness and Corrine was a night-girl. They all had similar skill sets and in order to get away Damian knew he had to have a group with multiple skills. Personally, he thought skill wise the best people to have in a group with him would be Skye, Seraphina, him and Dexter. The skills varied. However so did the people. He doubted that group would work. He would have to stay with Corrine and Kiyan for now.
He was also thinking a little about Ash. He didn't fully know what to think of her. She was definitely perceptive to everything. He wondered who would learn about her first. He sighed and continued walking.
The lead imitator chuckled. His plan was falling perfectly into place. Everybody had their issues and problems. He had a powerful group of demigods. Soon enough he would have enough power to storm Olympus. End their reign. The gods didn't deserve to rule. So many demigods have had terrible curses put upon them just because of their parentage or their bravery. It was time for the rightful people to stand up and take the throne. From their birth, he knew these demigods would be the ones he needed for his plan. James with his magic, Matt with his leadership, Dexter with his healing, Kiyan with his control over darkness, Damian with all of his connections to people, Seraphina with her beauty and charmspeak, Skye with the wind, Olivia with the dead, Corrine with her prophecies and Ash with her overall fighting skill. Every single one of them were chosen by him from birth. He knew these people would be the people who would lead him to power. They would become great heroes and they would restore the justice he felt was so long gone. They would be the people to defeat the Olympians and bring him to his rightful throne. They would because if they didn't do so willingly he would force them. They were going to be his little army, whether they wanted to or not. He sighed before taking off his mask. No one knew who he truly was. He had to wear that stupid stuffy mask all the time to protect his identity. No one knew who he was and that's how it would stay. Then he chuckled. After so many years of waiting, so many years of preparing the ten young demigods for their fate, after so long it was all coming into play. Soon, very soon the throne of Olympus would belong to him.
Okay. I know this chapter was super late but I have been really busy with my own books. The chapters should come quicker but I need your help. I am desperately in need of some ideas or inspiration so I need to know what you guys think should happen next. I want to know what you guys want to happen and what you are hoping to see in this story. I have some ideas and know how it is going to end but for now I am stuck. Please help me. I am not going to give up on this story but I need your help. Also if your character hasn't been featured very much don't despair. All of the characters will have a role to play. I will admit though I am enjoying writing about some characters a lot so those characters will probably appear more than some of the others that I am having trouble writing.
So review. Tell me your ideas. Tell me what you want to see happen. Tell me who you think should get hurt or who should try to escape or who should be part of the imitators. It doesn't only have to be about your character your idea, it can have to do with any of them. Even though I'm writing this story these are your characters and I want you to have a say in what happens to them and the other characters in the story. I can't wait to see what you guys want to happen. I will try to fit in all of your ideas. After all, someone once told me that if you want to write a good book allow others to inspire.
So that's all for now. Get those ideas to me and let's hope you don't have to wait as long for the next chapter!
Thank you so much!
